Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui adanya pengaruh tekniki online peer editing terhadap kemampuan menulis essay mahasiswa Manajemen STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja pada mata kuliah umum Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 60 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang  dibagi  menjadi pretest dan postest. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan uji-t dengan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi online peer editing terhadap kemampuan menulis esai mahasiswa. Nilai rata-rata tes awal adalah 42,15 meningkat sebesar 14,02 menjadi 56,17 pada tes akhir. Dari hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar 8,843 dan ttabel (df 62 = 1,669). Nilai thitung (8,843) > ttabel (1,669). Hasil menunjukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Online Peer Editing memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis essay mahasiswa Manajemen pada mata kuliah umum Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbentuk modul menyimak berbasis budaya lokal yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa di Universitas Baturaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini memodifikasi model pengembangan Borg, Gall dan Gall serta Dick, Carey, dan Carey menjadi enam langkah, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, eksplorasi kebutuhan materi, produksi bahan ajar,validasi desain, revisi, dan uji coba produk. Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektivan modul, dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli dan tiga tahap evaluasi formatif menggunakan angket, wawancara dan lembar penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan dari tiga aspek, yaitu kelayakan isi/materi dan penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikaan, modul dikategorikan valid. Berdasarkan uji kepraktisan melalui evaluasi orang per orang (one to one evaluation) dan uji coba kelompok (Small Group) pada mahasiswa modul dikategorikan sangat praktis. Selanjutnya berdasarkan uji efek potensial melalui field test modul berpengaruh dan terdapat peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 9,1 terhadap keterampilan menyimakmahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this devotional activity is 1) to provide participants with knowledge in writing scientific papers, 2) to improve students ability in writing scientific papers, 3) to improve and encourage students in writing scientific papers. The Method used in community service are: by method precentation, question and answer, discussion, and practice of composing scientific paper proposal after participating in this training. The participants have understood the types of scientific papers, the tecnique in writing scientific papers, topic determination and preparation of scientific papers. The results in community service are: 1) provide knowledge to the students of University of Selamat Sri, 2) Student who studied this activity are mostly the final study students, so this material helps students in facing process of completing study, 3) Students to preparing and making scientific papers.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine student perceptions of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach using survey methods. Through this method, data is obtained based on the questionnaire documentation distributed through Google Forms. The subjects of this research are STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja students who take Indonesian language courses, totaling 60 people. Subject selection using purposive sampling method. The results show that 50% of learning accesses easily, 25% of online learning provides high learning motivation, 51% of learning materials are complete and easily accessible, 35% of online learning helps me understand learning materials, 53% can do online learning independently during shopping. online, 60% of the ability to use technology increases during online learning, 50% of lecturers respond to questions and opinions that arise, 22% of interactions between lecturers and students are intimate, 32% of online learning makes students actively involved in asking questions and giving opinions during the process learning, 46% of online learning makes it easy to collaborate with fellow students (group work), 53% of online learning makes students believe their scores will increase, and 51% of online learning room facilities prepared by dictionaries are very helpful. As for this online learning barrier, namely the lack of motivation provided so that the learning atmosphere is not conducive. Not only that, the level of communication that exists between students and lecturers is considered poor because miscommunication often occurs.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of project based learning on the academic writing skills of STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja students. The research method used in this study was a pre-experiment with a research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study amounted to 60 students. The data collection technique used a test technique which was divided into pretest and posttest. The data processing technique used a t-test calculation with the SPSS 20 program. The results showed that project based learning was effective on students' academic writing skills. Furthermore, students who can improve their score at least 10 points better than the score they get from the initial test with a score above 90 there are 11 students. Furthermore, students who have a score of more than 78 there are 14 students. A total of 35 students got a minimum score of 78 after using PBL in their writing activities.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas project-based writing (PBW) terhadap keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah praeksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 60 mahasiswa STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh sehingga keseluruhan populasi dalam penelitian dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan perhitungan uji-t dengan bantuan program aplikasi SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBW efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa. Nilai rata-rata posttest mengalami peningkatan dari nilai pretest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan PBW efektif meningkatkan keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa Manajemen pada mata kuliah wajib kurikulum Bahasa Indonesia. AbstractThe research aimed to measure the effectiveness of project-based writing (PBW) on students' academic writing skills. The sampling technique used a saturated sample so that the entire population in the research was used as the research sample. Data collection techniques used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data processing was carried out by calculating the t-test with the help of the SPSS 20 application program. The results showed that the application of PBW was effective on students' academic writing skills. The average value of the posttest has increased from the pretest value. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the application of PBW was effective in improving the academic writing skills of Management students in compulsory Indonesian language curriculum courses.

Abstract

Membaca merupakan komponen penting dalam kehidupan akademis. Keberhasilan mahasiswa sangat bergantung pada cara mereka memproses bacaan mereka. Akan tetapi, beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam membaca dalam beberapa hal. Dalam hal ini, mahasiswa harus mampu mengatur sendiri aktivitas membaca mereka di dalam dan di luar kelas. Tujuan Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh membaca pemahaman dan self regulated learning terhadap keterampilan menulis mahasiswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja sebanyak 35 orang.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pretest dan postest. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji-t dan uji F. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh antara membaca pemahaman dan self-regulated learning terhadap kemampuan menulis mahasiswa. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari hasil postest yang mengalami peingkatkan dengan rata-rata 60,7. instruksi membaca harus disusun untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang diatur sendiri oleh mahasiswa. Dengan kata lain, dosen harus mengondisikan instruksi untuk meningkatkan pengaturan diri mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of developing learning media in the form of a picture book of poetry writing material based on local culture for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baturaja. The type of research used is Research and Development (R & D). The model used is ADDIE. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and tests. Furthermore, the data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis technique. The results of the research and discussion showed that the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Baturaja needed learning media to write poetry. These needs are related to the content and physical aspects of the learning media. Viewed from the aspect of content, students need learning media that is equipped with examples, exercises, and colorful pictures in it that are in accordance with the material about writing poetry. Meanwhile, the teacher's needs are, they want learning media that can attract students' interest in learning, especially writing poetry. From the results of the assessment of the feasibility of the material obtaining a score of 21. Furthermore, the results of the assessment of the linguist obtained a score of 19. The results of the assessment of the design expert obtained a score of 22. The results of the assessment of the graphic expert obtained a score of 16. Thus, the overall score obtained from the assessment of the feasibility of expert validation of 78 with the appropriate category, to become a learning media in the form of a picture book of poetry material for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baturaja.
