Abstract

The purpose of this devotional activity is 1) to provide participants with knowledge in writing scientific papers, 2) to improve students ability in writing scientific papers, 3) to improve and encourage students in writing scientific papers. The Method used in community service are: by method precentation, question and answer, discussion, and practice of composing scientific paper proposal after participating in this training. The participants have understood the types of scientific papers, the tecnique in writing scientific papers, topic determination and preparation of scientific papers. The results in community service are: 1) provide knowledge to the students of University of Selamat Sri, 2) Student who studied this activity are mostly the final study students, so this material helps students in facing process of completing study, 3) Students to preparing and making scientific papers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kecemasan matematika dan self-efficacy mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran E-learning dalam kokurikuler crash course SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode campuran dengan desain triangulasi. Sampel penelitian adalah 30 orang mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Dwi Sakti Baturaja. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket kecemasan matematika, angket self-efficacy mahasiswa, dan angket pembelajaran E learning dalam kokurikuler crash course SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kecemasan Matematika dan self-efficacy berpengaruh terhadap e- learning. Hubungan antara Kecemasan Matematika dan self-efficacy terhadap E-learning adalah sebesar 0,938. Kecemasan Matematika dan self-efficacy mempengaruhi E-learning sebesar 87,9%.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of online learning on the reflective thinking ability of STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja Management students in the economics mathematics course. The method used is the research method used in this study is a pre-experimental research design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study amounted to 60 students. The data collection technique used a test technique which was divided into pretest and posttest. The data processing technique used a t-test calculation with the SPSS 20 program. The results showed that there was an effect of online learning on students' reflective thinking abilities. The mean score on the initial test was 42.15, an increase of 14.02 to 56.17 on the final test. The t-test results show that tcount is 8.843 and ttable (df 62 = 1.669). The value of tcount (8.843) > ttable (1.669). The results show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be said that online learning has an influence on the reflective thinking ability of Management students in economics mathematics courses.Abstrak. Metode yang digunakan adalah  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 60 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang  dibagi  menjadi pretest dan postest. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan uji-t dengan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap kemampuan kemampuan berpikir reflektif mahasiswa. Nilai rata-rata tes awal adalah 56,17 menurun 14,02 menjadi 42,15 pada tes akhir. Dari hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar 8,843 dan ttabel (df 62 = 1,669). Nilai thitung (8,843) > ttabel (1,669). Hasil menunjukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran online memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif mahasiswa Manajemen pada mata kuliahmatematika ekonomi

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi aspek kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa yang perlu ditingkatkan efek dari pembelajaran online yang terjadi dalam mata kuliah matematika ekonomi di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonom Dwi Sakti Baturaja. Aspek keterampilan representasi matematis yang telah dipelajari adalah keterampilan mahasiswa dalam merepresentasi: (1) gambar, membuat gambar atau grafik untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang diberikan, (2) simbol, menyelesaikan masalah dengan membuat model ekspresi matematis, (3) verbal, menjawab soal dengan menggunakan kata-kata atau teks tertulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang dibagi menjadi pretest dan postest. Analisis data menggunakan statistik kuantitatif. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan uji-t dengan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran online dalam mata kuliah matematika ekonomi. Dari hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar 2,658 dan ttabel (2,048). Nilai thitung > ttabel. Hasil menunjukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran Online memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah matematika ekonomi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Nilai R analisis korelasi antara pembelajaran Online terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah matematika ekonomi adalah 0,715 yang artinya kuat karena dalam kategori 0,600-0,799 dan Nilai R square sebesar 71,5% yang artinya kontribusi pembelajaran Online terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah matematika ekonomi adalah 71,5%. Hasil evaluasi kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa menunjukkan mahasiswa masih lemah dalam indicator representasi symbol dan representasi verbal.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan tersebut bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model Discovery Learning yang berbasis pada kemampuan koneksi matematika, berpikir reflektif, dan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran online. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research & Development (R&D), mengacu pada prosedur pengembangan R&D oleh Gall dan Borg oleh Sukmadinata yaitu ADDIE. Langkah-langkah penerapan strategi penelitian dan pengembangan antara lain; (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, (5) evaluasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan model Discovery Learning yang berbasis pada kemampuan koneksi matematika, berpikir reflektif, dan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran online. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, koneksi matematika, berpikir reflektif, representasi matematis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi aspek keterampilan koneksi matematika siswa yang perlu ditingkatkan efek dari blended learning yang terjadi di STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja. Aspek keterampilan koneksi matematis yang telah dipelajari adalah keterampilan siswa dalam: (1) Menuliskan soal-soal kehidupan sehari-hari dalam bentuk model matematika, (2) Menuliskan konsep-konsep matematika yang mendasari jawaban, (3) Menulis menurunkan hubungan antara objek dan konsep matematika. Desain penelitian menggunakan kelompok tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 62 mahasiswa STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja Sumatera Selatan Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes keterampilan koneksi matematika. Soal tes berisi tiga indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa cenderung lemah dalam menuliskan hubungan antara objek dan konsep matematika.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of developing a discovery learning model on students' mathematical connection abilities in online mathematics and economics learning. This research was conducted at the Dwi Sakti Baturaja College of Economics. The research method used in this research is pre-experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The sample for this research consisted of 30 students. Data collection techniques use test techniques which are divided into pretest and posttest. The data processing technique uses t-test calculations with the SPSS 20 program. The research results show the influence of developing a discovery learning model on increasing students' mathematical connection abilities in online mathematics and economics courses at the Dwi Sakti Baturaja College of Economics. The average initial test score was 48.50, increasing from 37.00 to 85.50 in the final test. The test results show that the t count is 17.796 and the t-table (df 30 = 2.048). The t-count value (17.796)t-table (2.048). The results show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be said that the development of the discovery learning model influences students' mathematical connection abilities in online mathematics and economics learning. The results of the analysis show that the R square value of the correlation analysis between the development of the discovery learning model on students' mathematical connection abilities in online learning for mathematics economics courses is 71.50\%, which means that the contribution of developing the discovery learning model has a positive influence on students' mathematical connection abilities in online learning mathematics economy.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to evaluate the quality of multiple-choice summative assessment questions in mathematics at MTs Baitul Ma'mur, even semester, grade VIII, academic year 2023/2024, using a validity test, difficulty level test, reliability test, distractor test, and discriminating power test. This study strategy employs a quantitative approach in the form of a descriptive analysis of 20 pupils. Data are supplied as question sheets, answer sheets, and answer keys. The data were analyzed using percentage description approaches obtained from Excel data processing. According to the findings of this study, the validity test contained three questions with low validity and eight questions with very poor validity. However, the results of the reliability test on the question showed a high level of consistency, and the difficulty level of the test on the question was moderate, indicating that the level of difficulty was in the good range. Furthermore, the findings of the discriminating power test on the question were incorporated into the good and useful category. Furthermore, the results of the distraction effectiveness test on the question were factored into the functional criteria. So, the multiple-choice summative assessment questions for mathematics topics at MTs Baitul Ma'mur, even semester, grade VIII, 2023/2024 academic year are deemed satisfactory, although the validity portion might be enhanced.

Abstract

Analyzing students' mathematical anxiety in relation to E-learning in statistics courses at Muhammadiyah University Kupang is the aim of this research. This research uses a triangulation design using various data sources such as documents, interview results and observation results. Fifty students from Muhammadiyah University of Kupang were used as research samples. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, mathematical anxiety questionnaires, and E-learning questionnaires. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. Research findings show that E-learning is influenced by mathematical anxiety. There is a correlation of 0.916 between mathematical anxiety and E-learning. Mathematics anxiety has an impact of 83.8% on E-learning.

Abstract

The research and development aims to produce a discovery learning model that is oriented towards the student ability of reflective thinking and  self-efficacy. The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R and D) method. The research and development model used refers to the procedure of R and D development by Gall and Borg by Sukmadinata that is  ADDIE. The steps for implementing the research and development strategy include; (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. The Data collecting methods and instruments are used tests and non-tests. The Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The Data analysis techniques used in research and development are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the discovery learning model that was oriented towards the student ability of reflective thinking and self-efficacy  was effective to improve the student ability of reflective thinking and self-efficacy  respectively by 77% and 30%.Keywords: Discovery Learning, Relative thinking, dan Self-Efficacy
