Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat memungkinkan orang untuk saling bertukar informasi/data melalui jaringan Internet. Pemanfaatkan teknologi dan informasi yang berkembang rentan terhadap kejahatan. Maka dari itu sejalan dengan perkembangan media internet ini juga harus diimbangi dengan teknik pengamanan untuk melindungi informasi/data. Salah satu teknik pengamanan informasi adalah steganografi yang merupakan seni atau praktik menyembunyikan pesan, citra, atau file kedalam pesan, citra atau file yang lain dengan maksud agar pihak yang tidak berhak memiliki pesan tersebut tidak menyadari keberadaan dari pesan yang disembunyikan. LSB (Least Significant Bit) merupakan salah satu teknik atau algoritma pada steganografi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik LSB adalah teknik tiap bit dari pesan yang menggantikan bit terendah dari piksel warna pada citra digital. Proses penggantian bit terus dilakukan secara berulang pada tiap urutan piksel warna pada citra digital. Sehingga, informasi yang berharga tidak dapat diakses oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab dan terkesan tidak bernilai.

Abstract

Cement is one of the most important building materials in the world of construction today. So that the demand for cement can be used as a benchmark in the implementation of development in a country. Cement ship unloading equipment is very influential on the availability of cement supply both in Indonesia and the world. Damage to the unloading equipment on the cement carrier ship, especially the Cera Tank and Bucket Elevator, has an impact on the delay in the loading and unloading process at the port. So that maintenance is very important in order to avoid the delay in loading and unloading. This research was conducted in MV. Oceanic Success for 12 months. The aim is to find out things that must be considered in terms of maintenance of cement carrier ship unloading equipment. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis techniques, namely Root Cause Analysis with the help of the 5 Why Analysis Method tool. The results of this study indicate that the Cera Tank and Bucket Elevator unloading tools are lacking in terms of maintenance. Thus causing delays in the unloading process on the MV ship. Oceanic Success.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of student’s motivation and perception on the interest of student to have a career in field of taxation. The variables of this research consisted of the interest of student, the quality motivation, the perception, the career motivation, the economic motivation and the social motivation to have a career in field of taxation. The sample of this research was 227 bachelor of accounting students Economic and Business Faculty Bengkulu University who have taken Taxation, auditing, Tax Accounting and Tax Planing. The data is analyzed using SmartPLS 2.0 M3. The result showed that accounting students’ perception, quality motivation, career motivation, social motivation to have a career in field of taxation has significant positive influence on accounting students’ interest to have a career in field of taxation. But, accounting students’ economic motivation to have a career in field of taxation didn’t have any significant positive influence to have a career in field of taxation.Keywords : Perception, Quality Motivation, Carrer Motivation, Economic Motivation, Social Motivation, The interest of student, Field of taxation.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to explain the condition of planning process and budgeting of village finances in the villages of Giri Mulya Sub-district, North Bengkulu Regency. The informants of this research are the village head, village secretary, head of the village consultative body, the empowerment of the village community of Giri Mulya sub-district, and representatives from the community. Data were collected through observation process, in-depth interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that village planning and village financial budgeting have been outlined in accordance with the prevailing regulations. In terms of timeliness, in determining the work plan of the local government and budget of village income and expenditure, there was a delay due to the lack of human resources quality and the problem of regulatory delays from the district that reached the village head.Keywords : planning and budgeting of village finances, Human Resources, regulatory

Abstract

This qualitative study examines the effectiveness of logistics education within Indonesian transportation institutes' multimodal transportation programmes. Fifty cadets were analysed, revealing a positive perception of logistics education's importance and its significant impact on student competency and operational efficiency. Themes emerged highlighting cadets' strong understanding and application of logistical principles, leading to tangible improvements in transportation costs, service quality, and work processes. The findings underscore the critical role of logistics education in preparing students for careers in the transportation sector and improving the efficiency and sustainability of transportation systems. Recommendations include curriculum enhancement, professional development for educators, industry engagement, and the integration of technology. By implementing these recommendations, educational institutions can better align their programmes with industry needs and ensure graduates are equipped to address the sector's challenges. This research contributes to the discourse on transportation education, emphasising the importance of logistics education in shaping the future of multimodal transportation in Indonesia and beyond.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of fuel atomizer performance on maintaining ship diesel engine performance, focusing on ANT (Nautika - Deck Officers) and ATT (Teknika - Engine Officers) students at STIP Jakarta. The study aims to analyse the practices related to the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and their impact on fuel atomizer performance among these student officers. Qualitative research methods, including questionnaires, were employed to collect data from ANT and ATT students. The Likert scale was used to measure attitudes, opinions, and perceptions regarding fuel atomizer performance and PMS practices. The research highlights the critical role of fuel atomizers in diesel engine optimization and underscores the importance of effective PMS practices. The findings provide valuable insights for enhancing ship diesel engine performance through improved maintenance strategies.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the challenges faced by new engine officers in maritime settings, focusing on their transition from theoretical learning to practical engine maintenance. Through semi-structured interviews with experts in marine engineering and engine management, the research identifies significant gaps between theoretical knowledge acquired in classrooms and the practical skills required aboard ships. Key findings highlight the need for educational reforms, including increased practical training hours, curriculum adjustments to enhance relevance, and integration of simulation technologies. Participants, comprising professional engine masters, endurance managers, and maritime educators, unanimously advocate for a more hands-on approach to training that prepares cadets to handle complex engine maintenance tasks effectively. Simulation technologies, particularly virtual reality simulations, emerge as crucial tools for bridging the gap between theory and practice. They provide realistic environments for cadets to simulate diverse operational scenarios and develop critical decision-making skills without exposing them to actual risks. The study concludes with recommendations for collaborative efforts between educational institutions and industry stakeholders to implement these reforms, ensuring a competent and prepared workforce capable of meeting the dynamic challenges of modern maritime operations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan mengkaji pengaruh Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia, Komitmen Organisasi, serta Sistem Pengendalian Internal terhadap Kualitas Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah. Penelitian berfokus pada 34 Organisasi Perangkat Daerah di Kab. Kepahiang. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan metode sensus, di mana seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 34 organisasi dijadikan sampel yang selanjutnya menghasilkan kuantitas sampel sejumlah 67 responden. Hipotesis diuji dengan pengujian uji selisih nilai mutlak yang diolah dengan berbantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Penelitian ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia memengaruhi kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah secara positif, komitmen organisasi dan sistem pengendalian internal memengaruhi kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah secara positif.
