Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to see the comparison of learning outcomes between TGT type learning models with STAD type learning models with STAD type learning models equipped with question card media. Comparative causal research types with causal pattern design. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The sample in this study is class X IPA 1 as an experimental class 1 that applies the TGT learning model and X IPA 3 as an experimental class 2 that applies the STAD learning model, each class totaling 24 students. Based on the results of data analysis, the average value of cognitive learning outcomes in the pretest-posttest in experimental class 1 was 38,33 and 75,42, while the average value of cognitive learning outcomes in the pretest-posttest in experimental class 2 was 34,17 and 69,79. T-test was carried out using independent sample test assisted with SPSS 17.0 software and obtained a significant value (2-tailed) of 0,03 0,05, it means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a comparison of learning outcomes of students who use the TGT and STAD learning model with a question card media on chemical bonding material.Keywords: Card words, Learning outcomes, Ikatan Kimia, STAD, TGT. DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v10.i3.2021.06

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbandingan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Numbered Heads Together melalui media Word Square terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada sub materi stoikiometri di SMA Negeri 1 Dewantara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design berbentuk nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together. Data bersumber dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan soal tes berbentuk pilihan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen = 4,56 dan kelas kontrol = 4,41 sedangkan pada postes kelas eksperimen = 16,29 dan kelas kontrol = 14,88. Uji hipotesis melalui Independent sample t-test pada SPSS versi PASW 18 menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed) 0,22. Sesuai dengan kaidah keputusan menggunakan uji Levene sig. < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak Ha diterima.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop contextual-based handouts on reaction rate material with valid, viable, and interesting responses used as teaching materials in the learning process. The development model used in this study is the Borg and Gall models. The validity of the handout developed is divided into two validity of material and media by 84.1% and 93% respectively. Responses from 6 teachers and responses based on the questionnaire given were 91.17% and 90.77%. Handout developed is applied in the learning process with a total of 20 learners using pretest and posttest. Data obtained by researchers using the N-gain formula to find out the improvement of cognitive learning after giving treatment with the number of N-gain scores is 0.513. Based on the hypothesis test with the t-test on the known output sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.005 then Ho was rejected, meaning there was a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after using contextually based handouts. Based on the data above it was concluded that the results of contextual-based handout development research can be declared valid, feasible, and the response is interesting and can improve the cognitive learning

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep kimia yang berlevel baik tercermin dari tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep- konsep kimia yang dikaji. Basic thinking merupakan kemampuan memahami konsep yang termasuk dalam salah satu tingkatan keterampilan berpikir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran problem solving dan problem posing pada materi penentuan ΔH reaksi, melalui penelitian asosiatif kausalitas dengan teknik kuantitatif, yang diterapkan pada 2 kelas IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Gandapura. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan melakukan tes soal (tes kognitif). Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik uji N-Gain. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa, hasil uji hipotesis dengan nilai sig kedua kelas tersebut adalah 0,000. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving dan problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi penentuan ΔH reaksi di SMA Negeri 1 Gandapura. Sedangkan nilai perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi penentuan ΔH reaksi diperoleh dari hasil analisis data rata-rata nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen I adalah 0,703 (kategori tinggi) dan kelas eksperimen II adalah 0,605 (kategori sedang). Dengan demikian dari dua hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen I lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas eksperimen II.

Abstract

Coffee is a mainstay commodity in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh. Coffee beans contain chemicals such as caffeine, chlorogenic acid, trigonelin, carbohydrates, fats, amino acids, organic acids, minerals and volatile aromas that can produce aromatherapy effects. The use of synthetic air freshener has a negative impact on health because the volatile organic compounds released are classified as toxic compounds and carcinogens. Aromatherapy diffusers are a good choice to avoid these risks, apart from being a relaxation, it can also improve air quality, which in turn acts as a COVID-19 preventive effort. Through this Community Service program, the Malikussaleh University PKM teams helps coffee farmer partners to develop an aromatherapy diffuser product from sorted coffee bean waste or rejected/pixel coffee, namely coffee with broken conditions, holes, seeds that are too young and too old. This program is a strategic step in the context of pioneering and building micro-enterprises in Weh Tenang Uken Village so that it can improve the economy of the community and its surroundings.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences in critical thinking skills (CTS) between classes using the worksheet-assisted probing prompting learning model and those using only probing prompting learning model for the subject of reaction rate at MAS Ulumuddin Lhokseumawe. The research method was quasi-experimental with the Nonequivalent Control Group research design. The sample used were two classes with 30 students in each. The data was collected by using multiple choice test questions. The results showed that there were differences in the critical thinking skills of students who were taught using the worksheet-assisted probing prompting learning model and students who were taught with only probing prompting learning model. Since there was a significant value of 0.000 0.05, then the Ha was accepted while the H0 was rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the probing prompting learning model assisted with students’ worksheet on the critical thinking skills of students at MAS Ulumuddin Lhokseumawe.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pada konsep dan jenis-jenis reaksi dalam larutan asam basa yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 langkah, yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Sampel dipilih secara stratified-cluster random sampling dan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar penilaian kualitas modul yang di isi oleh validator ahli serta lembar angket respon guru dan peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Persentase rata-rata lembar angket penilaian kualitas modul yang diperoleh dari 6 validator yaitu sebesar 93,00% sedangkan respon guru dan peserta didik sebesar 84,65; 83,81%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul berbantuan media interaktif pada konsep dan reaksi-reaksi dalam asam basa yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia dan diharapkan ada penelitian lanjutan untuk materi lain dalam ruang lingkup yang lebih luas.Kata Kunci: Modul, Media Interaktif, Asam Basa, Model ADDIE
