Abstract

Numerical solutions using the Finite Element Method (FEM) of one-dimensional bio-heat transfer of healthy and cancerous tissue together with the Magnetic Fluid Hyperthermia treatment have been worked out successfully. Each layer shows the characteristics of tissue. Each layer represents an independent biological tissue characterized by temperature-dependent physiological parameters and linear temperature-dependent metabolic heat generation. Magnetic fluid hyperthermia (MFH) is used as an external heat source to heat the cancerous area. In a transient state MFH treatments can heat up cancerous tissue without damaging healthy tissue as indicated by an increase in the temperature of the cancer tissue according to the standard temperature of the MFH treatments.

Abstract

System-based data recording is indispensable in all fields, including government agencies. One of the important points in data recording is system integration. Data integration has the advantage of making the flow of organizational information better. One of the problems that arise in this Community Service activity partner is the unavailability of a population data integration system from each village/village to the sub-district. This activity aims to conduct training, mentoring and demonstration of the proposed integration system. The solution that will be offered is to conduct training and socialization related to population data management and integration. This training and socialization will use Ms. Excel and Google Sheet in the process. The method used in implementing community service activities is training and mentoring as well as demonstrations related to the Implementation of the Simple Population Data Integration System (SIDaKS) in Kota Agung Timur District, Tanggamus. The training was carried out in the East Kota Agung District hall, Tanggamus. Participants who attended the activity were representatives of each village/village in the Kota Agung Timur District. There are several steps taken to support the implementation of activities. The activity took place smoothly in accordance with the applicable health protocol. And it will be held on September 30, 2021 at the Kota Agung Timur , Tanggamus

Abstract

Visualization is becoming as the most frequent tool for examining and extracting information from datasets by novice and professional researchers alike. Many data processing applications help to present and report data. One of the digital tools that is quite widely used is Google Data Studio. This Community Service activity aims to provide data visualization training to Triharjo Village, one of the villages that still does not use digitalization to access village data online. Natural Resources Data Visualization Training Using Google Data Studio in Triharjo Village, Merbau Mataram District, South Lampung Regency has been successfully implemented and attended by 10 (ten) participants consisting of village officials. This activity is very necessary to facilitate the monitoring of agricultural products from Triharjo Village on the dashboard via the village website. The target in community service has also been achieved and serves to provide problem solving for problems that occur with partners, namely in the form of: 1. Can introduce the Tiharjo village community to the importance of digitizing performance dashboards. 2. Can teach how to use Google Data Studio tools which can be used to help the process of creating Dashboards. With this training, it is hoped that it can help manage natural resource data which will help village officials and village communities, teachers and students in providing information services related to data visualization.

Abstract

The validation of waveform retracking analyses with Fuzzy Inferences system, which was previously developed to optimize the estimation of sea surface height (SSHs), particularly in coastal locations, is presented in this study. The fuzzy inference system has been tested and validated in the Natuna Sea, Indonesia, where altimetry waveforms varied based on water conditions. Validation was performed by comparing the waveform retracking result of Jason-3 data with in-situ tide gauge data and geoid. The validation of waveform retracking data for sea level anomaly (SLA) estimate against tidal data demonstrates that the waveform retracking with a fuzzy inference system is more accurate than previous approaches. Waveform retracking with fuzzy inference system is able to produce an average temporal correlation of 0.75-0.89 and RMSE between 0.15-0.17 m. The waveform retracking combined with a fuzzy inference system can improve SLA estimation accuracy in nearshore up to 4 km from the coastline. The results indicate that retracking with fuzzy inference system has the potential to be used in other complicated oceans.

Abstract

Abstract

Proteins interact with other proteins, DNA, and other molecules, forming large-scale protein interaction networks and for easy analysis, clustering methods are needed. Regularized Markov clustering algorithm is an improvement of MCL where operations on expansion are replaced by new operations that update the flow distributions of each node. But to reduce the weaknesses of the RMCL optimization, Pigeon Inspired Optimization Algorithm (PIO) is used to replace the inflation parameters. The simulation results of IPC SARS-Cov-2 (COVID-19) inflation parameters  get the result of 42 proteins as the center of the cluster and 8 protein pairs interacting with each other. Proteins of COVID-19 that interact with 20 or more proteins are ORF8, NSP13, NSP7, M, N, ORF9C, NSP8, and NSP1. Their interactions might be used as a target for drug research.
