Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian pada novel Jemini Karya Suparto Brata terfokus pada teori Subaltern perspektif Gayatri Spivak. Perempuan sebagai tokoh sentral dalam novel ini sangat erat dengan ketidakbebasan, perbudakan “munci”, dan penyiksaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas posisi subaltern perempuan, pembalikan hirarki, dan bentuk perlawanan terhadap subaltern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif terfokus konteks dan mengedepankan interpretasi serta kedalaman makna. Teori yang digunakan adalah Subaltern Gayatri Spivak dengan pendekatan poskolonial. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bagaimana kedudukan Subaltern dalam novel Jemini seperti yang digambarkan tokoh perempuan yang tinggal di Tangsi yang kesehariannya tidak bisa lepas dari perbudakan, pembatasan, serta penyiksaan. Perlawanan Subaltern menggunakan Feminisme Modern Behaviour ada otentisitas manusia atas hak yang dimiliki.  Sikap keingintahuan Jemini dalam segala hal sebagai bentuk kemajuan perempuan dalam menyikapi hidup. Kedewasaannya dalam bersikap menunjukkan kekukuhan sosok perempuan dalam menghadapi berbagai karakter orang dalam lingkungannya sehingga semakin menguatkan eksistensi feminis dari sosok Jemini.Kata Kunci: Jemini; perempuan; subaltern Abstract: Research in the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata focuses on the subaltern theory of the Gayatri Spivak perspective. Women as central figures in this novel are closely related to freedom, “lock-in” slavery, and torture. The purpose of this study is to discuss the position of women's subalterns, hierarchical reversals, and forms of resistance to subalterns. This study uses a context-focused qualitative method and emphasizes interpretation and depth of meaning. The theory used is the Gayatri Spivak Subaltern with a postcolonial approach. The results of the research found how the position of Subaltern in Jemini's novel as depicted by a female character who lives in Tangsi whose daily life cannot be separated from slavery, restriction, and torture. Subaltern resistance to using Modern Feminism Behavior is human authenticity of rights. Jemini's curiosity in everything is a form of women's progress in responding to life. Her maturity in acting shows the strength of the female figure in facing the various characters of the people in her environment, thereby strengthening Jemini's feminist existence.Keywords: Jemini; woman; subaltern

Abstract

The community service activity at the political science study program, Walailak University Thailand has the aim of introducing Javanese language and culture to improve Indonesian insight. The target of this activity is political science students, walailak university who need initial and advanced guidance to improve Indonesian insights. This activity is very helpful for students in providing initial provision before taking a lecture program in Indonesia. This service activity provides theoretical knowledge and cultural practices in the classroom which include the introduction of Javanese language and traditional games. The activity method is carried out with discussions, presentations and cultural practices. The results of the activity showed the enthusiasm of students in learning Javanese language, Javanese culture and Indonesian in general a total of 61% of students stated that they could know Javanese vocabulary, 22% of students knew Javanese culture. 9% of students got preliminary knowledge if they visit Indonesia, while 8% of students got important information related to Javanese culture.
