Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain: (1) the view of authors? world about feminism Rara Mendut novel by Y.B. Mangunwijaya; (2) text structure Rara Mendut novel by Y.B. Mangunwijaya; (3) background of socio-historic Rara Mendut Novel by Y.B. Mangunwijaya. This research is a qualitative study with subject matter analysis method. Data collection technique used is non-interactive technique. Non-interactive technique covers noting the document or archive (content analysis) and interview. Data analysis technique uses interactive analysis technique. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the world view of Y.B. Mangunwijaya is a view of moderate feminism world, (2) structure of the text which is thematically is centered on Rara Mendut in her relation with other characters, from the interaction of Rara Mendut with other characters will be expressing the author?s world view (3) the structure of socio-historic novel Rara Mendut  is social structure of Mataram empire society.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan langkah dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran daring yang sudah dilaksanakan sejak diumumkannya pandemi covid-19 sejak tanggal 12 Maret 2020 oleh WHO. Pelaksanaan perkuliahan daring masih menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa. Pada penelitian ini, mata kuliah yang diteliti adalah mata kuliah Sejarah Sastra yang merupakan mata kuliah wajib untuk mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Indonesia JBSI Unesa pada semester pertama. Melalui matakuliah Sejarah Sastra mahasiwa akan dikenalkan dengan perkembangan sastra Indonesia dari zaman sastra klasil sampai sastra modern, mengenalkan tokoh-tokoh sastrawan dan karya-karyanya. Mahasiswa yang memprogram mata kuliah ini merupakan mahasiswa baru yang belum pernah mendapatkan kuliah tatap muka. Tujuan penelitian ini (1) mengetahui problematika perkuliahan daring pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Sejarah Sastra (2) mengetahui solusi permasalahan pembelajaran daring mata kuliah Sejarah Sastra. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari perancangan penelitian melalui diskusi, penyusunan proposal, pengumpulan data, dan penyusunan laporan penelitian. Data diambil dari angket yang diisi oleh mahasiswa dan doskumentasi screenshoot dari pembelajaran daring. Kata kunci: pembelajaran daring, covid-19, Sejarah Sastra

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan hasrat kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Midah Si Manis Bergigi Emas karya Pramudya Ananta Toer. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Skizoanalisis Gilles Deleuze dan Felix Guatari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh dari novel Midah Si Manis bergigi Emas karya Pramudya Ananta Toer. Data berupa kutipan kalimat pada novel yang dianalisis. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa teknik pustaka dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian data, serta penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, 1) menemukan pola transfer berbahasa secara sintaksis pemelajar BIPA level dasar, 2) mendeskripsikan kesalahan transfer bahasa secara sintaksis dalam pembelajaran BIPA, dan 3) faktor yang memengaruhi kesalahan transfer bahasa pada pemelajar BIPA level dasar. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan merupakan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dari hasil tugas pemelajar BIPA Unesa dalam mata kuliah keterampilan menulis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara 1) mencermati dan menganalisis hasil tugas mahasiswa berdasarkan aspek sintaksis, 2) melakukan wawancara, dan pengambilan simpulan Hasil penelitian menemukan kesalahan-kesalahan sintaksis 1) pemelajar BIPA mengalami kesulitan dalam menuliskan kelengkapan tanda baca, 2) pemelajar BIPA belum bisa menuliskan huruf kapitan dengan tepat dan konsisten, 3) ditemukan kesalahan penulisan konjungsi di dalam kalimat, 4) penulisan kalimat yang tidak lengkap, tidak ada subjek kalimat.dan 5) kesalahan penggunakan kata “adalah”, 6) masih belum bisa membedakan penggunakan kata “tidak” dan “belum”, dan 7) penggunaan konjungsi di awal kalimat. Faktor penyebab terjadi kesalahan transfer bahasa yakni dari aspek intralingual dan interlingual. Intralingual karena faktor dari bahasa target B2 yang terlalu sulit untuk dipahami, bhakan bagi penutur jati dan faktor interlingual yakni pengaruh bahasa pertama yang terlalu jauh dengan bahasa target B2. Akibatnya, preposisi yang tidak tepat, organisasi tidak lengkap, penggunaan elemen yang berlebihan, penggunaan bentuk superlatif yang berlebihan, pluralisasi jamak, dan penggunaan bentuk timbal balik yang tidak tepat digunakan. The objectives of this research are: 1) to identify language transfer patterns in syntax among basic-level BIPA learners, 2) to describe syntactic transfer errors in BIPA learning, and 3) to examine the factors influencing language transfer errors in basic-level BIPA learners. This study assigned qualitative descriptive. The data source is from the writing assignments of BIPA learners at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) in the subject of writing skills. The research results reveal the following syntactic errors: 1) BIPA learners face difficulties in using punctuation marks correctly, 2) they have not mastered the accurate and consistent usage of capital letters, 3) errors are found in the use of conjunctions within sentences, 4) incomplete sentence construction with missing subjects, 5) mistakes in using the word "adalah" (is/are), 6) confusion between the usage of "tidak" (not) and "belum" (not yet), and 7) improper usage of conjunctions at the beginning of sentences. The factors contributing to these language transfer errors can be categorized as intralingual and interlingual aspects. Intralingual factors relate to the difficulty in understanding the B2, even for native speakers, while interlingual factors stem from the considerable linguistic distance between the first language and the target language. Thus, incorrect prepositions, incomplete sentence organization, excessive use of elements, exaggerated superlative forms, pluralization errors, and improper reciprocal forms are used

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Kemajuan pesat Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam dunia pendidikan menawarkan potensi yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. Namun, guru-guru bahasa Indonesia di sekolah menengah pertama, khususnya di Tuban, menghadapi tantangan kritis dalam mengintegrasikan AI, termasuk pelatihan yang terbatas, penguasaan teknis, dan masalah etika. Hambatan-hambatan ini menghambat adopsi alat AI yang efektif untuk pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi, adaptif, dan fleksibel. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kompetensi guru dalam integrasi AI melalui program pengabdian masyarakat yang terstruktur. Secara khusus, program ini menargetkan 30 guru bahasa Indonesia, melibatkan mereka dalam lokakarya dan sesi pendampingan berkelanjutan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, program ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pre-test dan post-test dilakukan untuk menilai pemahaman awal para guru dan kemajuan selanjutnya. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan 85% peserta mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang konsep-konsep terkait AI dan 90% menunjukkan kemampuan untuk menggabungkan alat berbasis AI ke dalam kelas mereka. Terlepas dari pencapaian ini, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi, terutama terkait keterampilan teknis dan pertimbangan etika. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelatihan dan dukungan berkelanjutan untuk mencapai integrasi AI yang berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian lebih lanjut direkomendasikan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang dari adopsi AI dalam praktik pengajaran dan mendorong kolaborasi antara pendidik dan pengembang AI. [English]: The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education offers significant potential for enhancing learning experiences. However, Indonesian language teachers in junior high schools, particularly in Tuban, face critical challenges in integrating AI, including limited training, technical mastery, and ethical concerns. These barriers hinder the effective adoption of AI tools for personalized, adaptive, and flexible learning. Addressing this issue, this study aimed to improve teachers' knowledge and competencies in AI integration through a structured community service program. Specifically, the program targeted 30 Indonesian language teachers, engaging them in workshops and continuous mentoring sessions. Adopting a participatory approach, the program was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Pre- and post-tests were conducted to assess teachers’ initial understanding and subsequent progress. Results revealed significant improvements, with 85% of participants gaining a deeper understanding of AI-related concepts and 90% demonstrating the ability to incorporate AI-based tools into their classrooms. Despite these achievements, challenges remained, particularly regarding technical skills and ethical considerations. This study underscores the necessity of sustained training and support to achieve sustainable AI integration in Indonesian language education. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impacts of AI adoption in teaching practices and foster collaboration between educators and AI developers. Abstract

The community service activity at the political science study program, Walailak University Thailand has the aim of introducing Javanese language and culture to improve Indonesian insight. The target of this activity is political science students, walailak university who need initial and advanced guidance to improve Indonesian insights. This activity is very helpful for students in providing initial provision before taking a lecture program in Indonesia. This service activity provides theoretical knowledge and cultural practices in the classroom which include the introduction of Javanese language and traditional games. The activity method is carried out with discussions, presentations and cultural practices. The results of the activity showed the enthusiasm of students in learning Javanese language, Javanese culture and Indonesian in general a total of 61% of students stated that they could know Javanese vocabulary, 22% of students knew Javanese culture. 9% of students got preliminary knowledge if they visit Indonesia, while 8% of students got important information related to Javanese culture.

Abstract

This research focuses on finding the values ​​of character education in the short story entitled “Gus Jakfar” by KH A. Mustofa Bisri through a sociological study of literature. The use of sociological literary studies is intended to analyze social interactions in short stories which produce exemplary values ​​in the form of character education. The method used is descriptive qualitative (QD) with data collection techniques using library research, where data is obtained from literature in the form of short stories, articles and books. Next, the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique through three stages, namely "reduction, data presentation, and conclusions." The results obtained from this research found four values ​​of character education, including: religious, curious, friendly/communicative, and social care. In detail, there are three data on the value of religious character education in short stories, two data on the value of character education on curiosity, one data on the value of friendly/communicative character education, and one data on the value of character education in the form of social care.
