Abstract

Currently, there are still quite a number of organizations who consider that remuneration is a cost component that needs to be minimized and a means that can increase unproductive behavior, which can lead to personal problems. To be able to prevent the emergence of problems and the increase in remuneration expenditure of an organization, it is necessary to have a remuneration system that is fair, appropriate, and cost effective. In the process of calculating the Additional Employee Income (TPP) carried out by SMK PP Negeri Jambi, Batanghari Regency, it is still manually with calculations based on absenteeism, performance, and employee discipline, after all data is obtained then input into Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this study is to simplify calculations, minimize time in the process of inputting and calculating, the process of delivering TPP information quickly and accurately. Where the modeling of this system uses a flow diagram of Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and this system design uses web / internet media and produces a web-based information system for additional employee income payments (TPP) at SMP Negeri Jambi Regency. Batanghari.

Abstract

At this time the development of technology is increasingly advanced, and everything cannot be separated from technology, the need for fast, precise and accurate information is very important in the era of globalization, and from the research conducted several weaknesses were found, among others, product sales are still carried out conventionally, namely by coming to the place, thus narrowing the range of sales and resulting in less than maximum profit. The purpose of this research is to identify problems in the current system and design a android system at Koppi Jambi. When conducting research, the author uses qualitative methods that collect data through interviews, research, and observation based on field events. The analysis method in this study uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method . The design design is only limited to a prototype. The results of this research. The final result of the design produces a android e-commerce Information System at Koppi Jambi. With this e-commerce system, it is hoped that it can increase their promotion and sales. help in increasing the number of customers.

Abstract

In this paper, the authors conducted small-scale research to determine the awareness, utilization, and barriers of school teachers, especially for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teachers in using Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). In Indonesia, the utilization of applications and operating systems in educational institutions are still dependent on popular software, it makes the process of learning in schools often mentions the names or brands of certain software that are often used and are usually proprietary. In recent years, several parties have started the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) movement to break the notion of using Proprietary software, FOSS is starting to be seen by users because of it’s affordability and freedom to use and contribute to developing software together. There are many FOSS that is often used such as Ubuntu, Mozilla Firefox, Moodle, OJS, and many more. The Indonesian government also encourages the use of FOSS in some institutions that have been introduced to FOSS. in this research, the author uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method, it takes a sample from a population and uses a questionnaire as the main data aid. As a result, many obstacles were found that made teachers and students reluctant to use FOSS in their education, such as lack of knowledge, lack of training, availability of technology, and awareness of it.
