Abstract

ABSTRACTOne type of coastal plants in mangrove forests is pedada (Sonneratia sp.). This fruit has high nutritional value and has the potential to be processed into food products, but it is still rarely used because of its sour taste. One form of food processing from pedada fruit is pedada juice drink. This study aimed to analyze the chemical characteristics of the pedada fruit juice drink with the addition of stevia (Stevia rebaudiana) sugar. This was an experimental study using pure descriptive analysis with A4 sample (200 g of pedada fruit and 18% stevia sugar) and A2 control sample (200 g of pedada fruit and without the addition of stevia sugar) to determine the chemical characteristics of the pedada fruit juice drink tested by proximate analysis (carbohydrates, protein, fat, water, ash, fiber) and pH analysis. This research was conducted in May-August 2020. Analysis of chemical characteristics was done at the Animal Husbandry Laboratory of Jambi University. Based on the chemical characteristics, the best pedada fruit juice was sample A4 (200 g of pedada fruit, 18% stevia sugar) with the results of the proximate analysis show that it had 57.32% carbohydrates, 3.41% protein, 13.40% fat, 21.11% water, 4.73% ash, 0.74% fiber, and a pH value of 1.8 (acid).Keywords: chemical characteristics, fruit juice, pedada, stevia.ABSTRAKSalah satu jenis tanaman pantai yang berada di hutan mangrove yaitu tanaman buah pedada (Sonneratia sp.). Buah ini mempunyai nilai gizi yang tinggi dan berpotensi untuk diolah menjadi produk pangan. Buah ini masih jarang dimanfaatkan karena rasanya yang asam. Salah satu bentuk olahan pangan dari buah pedada adalah minuman sari buah pedada. Adapaun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui karakteristik kimia minuman sari buah pedada dengan penambahan gula stevia (Stevia rebaudiana). Penelitian ini merupakan desain eksperimen yang menggunakan analisis deskriptif murni dengan sampel A4 (200 g buah pedada dan 18% gula stevia) dan sampel kontrol A2 (200 g buah pedada dan tanpa penambahan gula stevia) untuk mengetahui karakteristik kimia minuman sari buah pedada yang diuji dengan analisis proksimat (karbohidrat, protein, lemak, air, abu, serat) dan analisis pH. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Agustus 2020, analisis karakteristik kimia dilakukan di Laboratorium Peternakan Universitas Jambi. Karakteristik kimia minuman sari buah pedada perlakuan terbaik yaitu sampel A4 (buah pedada 200 g, gula stevia 18%) dengan hasil analisis proksimat berupa karbohidrat (57,32%), protein (3,41%), lemak (13,40%), air (21,11%), abu (4,73%), serat (0,74%) dan nilai pH 1,8 (kategori asam).Kata kunci: gula stevia, karakteristik kimia, pedada, sari buah.

Abstract

This fruit is still rarely used because of its sour taste. One form of food processed from pedada fruit is pedada juice drink. The purpose of this study was to describe the acceptance of the parameters of color, aroma, texture, taste, and overall acceptance in the form of selecting the best formulation, which was analyzed using the exponential method of pedada fruit juice drinks. A descriptive analysis within the experimental design was applied in this research. There were 5 samples in this study, namely A1 positive control (200 g, 70% sucrose sugar), A2 negative control (200 g pedada, 0% stevia sugar), A3 (200 g pedada, 9% stevia sugar), A4 (pedada 200 g, 18% stevia sugar), and A5 (200 g pedada, 36% stevia sugar). The acceptance test used the hedonic method with 40 consumer panelists aged 17-35 years. This research was conducted in May-August 2020. The manufacture of pedada fruit juice drinks and acceptance testing were carried out at home. The results showed that the A4 sample of 200 g of pedada fruit with the addition of 18% stevia sugar obtained the highest score on the acceptability of pedada fruit juice drinks and overall acceptance. The average results of each color, aroma, texture, and taste acceptability parameter were 3.9, 3.9, 4.0, and 4.0, respectively. Keywords: Acceptance; fruit juice; pedada; stevia sugar ABSTRAK Indonesia kaya akan hasil alamnya seperti berbagai jenis hutan yang salah satunya adalah hutan mangrove. Hutan mangrove itu sendiri memiliki berbagai jenis tumbuhan pantai seperti pedada atau Sonneratia sp. Buah ini memiliki nilai gizi yang tinggi dan berpotensi untuk diolah menjadi produk pangan. Buah ini masih jarang digunakan karena rasanya yang asam. Salah satu bentuk pengolahan makanan dari buah pedada adalah minuman sari buah pedada. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan penerimaan terhadap parameter warna, aroma, tekstur, dan rasa serta penerimaan secara keseluruhan berupa pemilihan formulasi terbaik yang dianalisis menggunakan metode eksponensial minuman sari buah pedada. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan desain analisis deskriptif murni. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 sampel yaitu kontrol positif A1 (200 g, gula sukrosa 70%), kontrol negatif A2 (200 g pedada, gula stevia 0%), A3 (200 g pedada, gula stevia 9%), A4 ( pedada 200 g, gula stevia 18%), A5 (200 g pedada, gula stevia 36%). Uji penerimaan menggunakan metode hedonis dengan 40 panelis konsumen berusia 17-35 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Agustus 2020, pembuatan minuman sari buah pedada dan uji daya terima dilakukan di rumah. Akseptabilitas minuman sari buah pedada dan penerimaan keseluruhan yaitu sampel minuman A4 buah pedada 200 g dengan penambahan gula stevia 18%, diperoleh skor rata-rata tertinggi (4,0) dengan hasil rata-rata masing-masing parameter akseptabilitas warna 3.9, aroma 3.9, tekstur 4.0, dan rasa 4.0. Abstract

In a world of work that involves many people, of course the role of teamwork is needed. This also applies to the performance procedures at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) tbk KC Medan, in which there are many work divisions, so it must create teamwork that builds each other. Teamwork can be started with strategies that are formed through good communication between employees. communication that is formed is not only formal, but sometimes interpersonal communication is very effective to play. A relaxed demeanor but still in a serious condition in interpersonal communication, making it easier for employees to be able to improve teamwork. From the strategies carried out by employees, they can find out the process without obstacles and also advance the activity system in the Transaction Processing Division in processing and entering data in an orderly and neat manner. This level of performance will be a feedback process on previous performance, can improve employee performance in the future.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is a disease pandemic (Covid-19) that is ongoing throughout the world. The first positive case of Covid-19 in Indonesia was detected in March 2020, many changes have occurred in Indonesia, especially in the Indonesian economy. New policies are made and implemented by the leadership in order to maintain employee safety. One of them is at tthe Class II Railway Center for the North Sumatra Region so that there is a change in the management of the work environment for its employees,such as maintaining distance,high levels of hygiene,and requiring vaccines.The currentimplementation of PSBB and PPKM requires all companies to make new policies for mutual safety that have an impact on the company and its employees. Based on this, this research was conducted aiming to determine the impact of the management of changes in the work environment through a case study on the Employees of Class II Railways in the North Sumatra Region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mencegah perilaku bullying di SMP Muhammadiyah 7. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, analisis dokumen, dan diskusi kelompok terarah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan holistik dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam efektif mencegah bullying melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam kurikulum, keteladanan guru, program mentoring berbasis Islam, penciptaan lingkungan sekolah Islami, dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua serta masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam memainkan peran multidimensi dan signifikan dalam mencegah perilaku bullying, membentuk karakter siswa, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif dan inklusif. This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education in preventing bullying behavior at SMP Muhammadiyah 7. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, document analysis, and focus group discussions. Results show that a holistic approach in Islamic Religious Education effectively prevents bullying through the integration of Islamic values in the curriculum, teacher exemplarity, Islamic-based mentoring programs, creation of an Islamic school environment, and collaboration with parents and community. The study concludes that Islamic Religious Education plays a multidimensional and significant role in preventing bullying behavior, shaping students' character, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program to enhance community development in Desa Baru, Kecamatan Pulau Rakyat, Kabupaten Asahan. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis during a one-month program. The results reveal significant challenges, including diverse community backgrounds, less interactive engagement methods, and limited use of technology in community development. The study proposes solutions such as innovative engagement techniques, increased community involvement, and the integration of technology in education and health programs. This research contributes to the development of more effective KKN programs in rural areas, aiming to foster collaboration between students and communities in the digital era. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) untuk meningkatkan pembangunan masyarakat di Desa Baru, Kecamatan Pulau Rakyat, Kabupaten Asahan. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen selama program satu bulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan tantangan signifikan, termasuk latar belakang masyarakat yang beragam, metode keterlibatan yang kurang interaktif, dan terbatasnya penggunaan teknologi dalam pembangunan masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi seperti teknik keterlibatan yang inovatif, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, dan integrasi teknologi dalam program pendidikan dan kesehatan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan program KKN yang lebih efektif di daerah pedesaan, bertujuan untuk mendorong kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat di era digital.

Abstract

Campaign The purpose of the "Love the Earth and Yourself, by Bringing Your Own Lunchbox" campaign is to educate students about the dangers of using plastic as food containers and to encourage the use of non-plastic food containers among students. An initial survey was conducted to obtain information on the pattern of single-use plastic use among students with a questionnaire developed using the Health Belief Model (HBM) theory approach. The campaign developed educational posters and appointed anti-single-use plastic ambassadors. Through this initiative, it is hoped that Halu Oleo University can become a pioneer in the movement to reduce plastic usage and create a more sustainable campus environment

Abstract

Electronic-based media or often reffered as e-module is elearning media that povide visualization that can be accesed through electronic media. Recently, many e-module have been developed by using several methods. The result obtained is effectiveness of using e-module that can be implemented at vocational schools, especially in digital simulation subject, ehich is reported to be very good. The use of e-module positively impacts on student learning outcome and obtains high student responses.

Abstract

Increasing the competence of vocational education teachers is an urgent need. This will ensure that vocational education can provide maximum benefits for students and align with the dynamics of the ever-evolving world of work. Data was collected using systematic literature method. The results of the study show that the urgency of the vocational competence of teachers in the era of society era 5.0 is very important and studies are needed to improve it. Overall, the urgency of improving teacher vocational competence in the current era is closely related to preparing students to contribute to the changing world of work and improving the quality of vocational education as a whole. By increasing the qualifications and knowledge of teachers in the vocational field, we can ensure that the education provided matches the demands of the labor market and produces students who are ready for the future. Some of the skills that teachers must have in this era include digital skills, adaptive skills, critical and creative thinking skills, multicultural skills, skills in implementing Teaching Factory in the learning process, collaboration and emotional social skills. Society Era 5.0 provides significant benefits for the realm of vocational education. In this era, digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) can be used in the vocational learning process. Technology-based learning systems enable more interactive and realistic practical experiences, through simulation and virtualization. This shows that more efforts are being made to develop vocational teacher competencies, especially for vocational education concept competencies.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the implementation of work attitudes based on the business world, the industry, and the world of work in the curriculum used by vocational high schools, where the work culture is a work attitude that prospective workers must own in entering the workforce. The realization of this work culture is seen from several indicators such as the application of work culture needed in schools, the existence of Links and Matches with the needs of the world of work, interpersonal skills owned by students, and intrapersonal abilities possessed by students who are realized in the 5R work culture (Concise, Neat, Resik, Care and Rajin) that apply to the school curriculum. The method used in this research is the Mixed Methode method, combining quantitative research and qualitative research. The study was conducted using instrument questionnaires and structured and open interviews involving respondents from educational institutions and the world of work under the auspices of the Indonesian Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Association. The data analysis technique used is the Milles and Huberman model Likert scale by looking at the percentage generated on the indicator of the competence of the world of work in the good category of 63.73%. But this must remain a thing that needs to be considered and maintained by vocational high schools to produce graduates of good character and a good working culture.
