Abstract

Astronomy is counted as a natural science that always gets the most attention of humans all the time. Lately, in Indonesia began to appear astronomical observatories that examine various things. The Falak Observatory of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra (OIF UMSU) is one that has played an important role in the development of astronomy in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatra. In this observatory there are classical and modern astronomical tools. Among the role and contribution of this observatory is to provide information for students about the phenomenon and importance of astronomy, then training for students, astronomy studies, and others. The existence of this observatory is basically an appreciation of science and technology that are part of civilization.

Abstract

The title of this paper is “The Writing Tradition of Muslim Scientists in the Archipelago Since The Age of Kingdom to Contemporary Period.” How significant is the development of the writing tradition among the scientist in the age of kingdom. What are the things that encourage these scientists to perform the writing activities. Then materially, which subject fields that muslim scientist are interested in. And also in the contemporary era, this is which is discussed in this paper. This paper is intended to discover the uniqueness of scientist in each age. It is also expected to explore whether or not there are similarities and differences between different times. This paper is qualitative type with the library research approach. By studying the history books of the Islamic empires in the Archipelago and the writings related to the work of Muslim scientists. This paper is the way how the present generation and also the future generation to be able to track and respect history, by studying and preserving it. Judul tulisan ini adalah “Tradisi Menulis Ilmuan Muslim Nusantara Sejak Zaman Kerajaan Hingga Masa Kontemporer”. Sudah sampai sejauh mana perkembangan tradisi menulis pada masa Kerajaan. Hal-hal apa saja yang mendorong para ilmuan tersebut untuk melakukan aktivitas di atas. Kemudian secara materi, bidang-bidang apa saja yang diminati oleh ilmuan muslim Nusantara.  Begitu juga pada masa zaman kontemporer, Ini salah satu bagian yang dikaji. Berupaya menemukan kekhasan masing –masing zaman. Juga diharapkan mampu mencari apakah ada atau tidak kesamaan dan perbedaan di antara masa yang berbeda. Tulisan ini  berjenis kualitatif, dengan pendekatan  library research.  Dengan mengkaji buku sejarah kerajaan Islam di Nusantara dan tulisan yang berhubungan dengan karya para ilmuan ilmuan muslim. Tulisan ini merupakan salah satu cara upaya generasi sekarang dan akan datang untuk dapat melacak dan menghormati sejarah, dengan mempelajari dan melestarikannya.

Abstract

The research aims to know how to read and write the application of Al quran with iqro methods in early childhood and the factors that support and impede learning to read and write the Qur`an. This research is a qualitative descriptive which examines data quality (concepts, thoughts and actions) and describe what it is. The result of learning to read and write firs penelitian Al quran with methods iqro prepared in a pkanned and systematic based on the curriculum RA. Secondly, there is a supporting factor in the application of methods iqro is the availability of books, media, and other learning tools that support this learning process. Abstract

This research was motivated by collaboration between the UMSU Islamic Faculty and the Al-Hidayah Foundation in implementing the Community Service Program (KKN) in Thailand. The aim is to reveal the contribution of the Al-Hidayah Foundation in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Faculty graduates through the KKN program. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data instruments in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and tested via triangulation. The research results show the significant contribution of the Al-Hidayah Foundation in improving the quality of education and empowering students. Through KKN, students experience an increase in the quality of learning, application of theory in practice, and development of leadership skills and social responsibility. This collaboration also strengthens international relations between the Al-Hidayah Foundation and UMSU, opening up opportunities for cultural exchange and educational project collaboration. It is hoped that this collaboration will provide benefits to other faculties at UMSU, broaden horizons, improve the quality of education, and empower students to improve the quality of graduates.

Abstract

International Real Work Lecture (KKNI) provides a perspective on the role of educators in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur’an at Bamrung Islamic Academy in Phattalung, Southern Thailand. Al-Qur'an education occupies an important position in Islamic Religious Education. Students need guidance from educators to understand the Al-Qur’an. Educational institutions such as the Bamrung Islamic Academy in Phattalung are one of the places to get Al-Qur'an education. This research adopts a qualitative field approach. Through KPLI at Bamrung Islamic Academy, researchers gained experience in assisting students in reading the Al-Qur'an, understanding the principles of recitation, so that students can easily understand and read the Al-Qur'an. Educators have an important role in helping students overcome difficulties in reading the Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) untuk mengatasi kejenuhan siswa terhadap minat belajar mereka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Kejenuhan sering kali menjadi tantangan utama dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan agama di sekolah. Melalui tinjauan literatur dan penelitianl apangan, artikel ini mengeksplorasi beberapa pendekatan yang efektif, seperti penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif, pendekatan berbasis masalah, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta peran motivasi dan interaksi interpersonal antara guru dan siswa. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik tentang bagaimana guru PAI dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan mengatasi kejenuhan yang mungkin muncul dalam proses pembelajaran mereka. Dengan demikian, artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan strategi pengajaran yang efektif dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam. Kata Kunci: Strategi Guru PAI , Minat Belajar Siswa, Mengatasi Kejenuhan This article explores strategies that Islamic Education (PAI) teachers can employ to address student boredom regarding their learning interest.Thisresearchisqualitativeresearchwitha type of field research using a descriptive approach Boredom often poses a significant challenge in the learning process, particularly within the context of religious education in schools. Through a review of literature and field research, this article investigates several effective approaches, such as active learning methods, problem-based approaches, utilization of technology in learning, and the role of motivation and interpersonal interaction between teachers and students. The aim of this article is to provide insights into how PAI teachers can enhance student learning interest by tackling boredom that may arise during their learning journey. Thus, this article is expected to contribute positively to the development of effective teaching strategies in the context of Islamic religious education. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mencegah perilaku bullying di SMP Muhammadiyah 7. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, analisis dokumen, dan diskusi kelompok terarah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan holistik dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam efektif mencegah bullying melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam kurikulum, keteladanan guru, program mentoring berbasis Islam, penciptaan lingkungan sekolah Islami, dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua serta masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam memainkan peran multidimensi dan signifikan dalam mencegah perilaku bullying, membentuk karakter siswa, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif dan inklusif. This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education in preventing bullying behavior at SMP Muhammadiyah 7. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, document analysis, and focus group discussions. Results show that a holistic approach in Islamic Religious Education effectively prevents bullying through the integration of Islamic values in the curriculum, teacher exemplarity, Islamic-based mentoring programs, creation of an Islamic school environment, and collaboration with parents and community. The study concludes that Islamic Religious Education plays a multidimensional and significant role in preventing bullying behavior, shaping students' character, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Analysis of 'Ashâbah Hadiths in the Context of Islamic Inheritance (A Study of Interpretation and ImplementationThe concept of 'asabah which is based on hadith “give the inheritance to the rightful people” (zāwul furϋd) and give the rest to the more primal of the male relatives” is considered discriminatory by many parties as well as it’s reducing the percentage of women's inheritance rights as heirs of dzawul furûdh which have been determined in absolute terms (qaht'i). This paper aims to analyze the hadith about 'ashabah through the ma'anil hadith approach using the takhrîj method as well as textual, contextual and intertextual interpretations. The results of the study concluded that the hadiths of 'ashabah are categorized as valid (sahih) hadiths and can be used as evidence (hujjah) regarding the legitimacy of the 'ashabah system in Islamic inheritance. The application of the ‘asabah inheritance system does not have discriminatory implications. On the contrary, it actually contains the value of distributive justice, because justice in inheritance is not always measured by the similarity of designation between heirs, but is also determined by proportionality based on the size of the burden of responsibility assigned to each heir, the balance between rights and obligations and the balance between what is obtained with needs and uses. In order to measure the aspect of justice, the 'ashabah inheritance system must be understood integrally by placing the position of inheritance as a sub-system of the overall family law system within the Islamic legal system which is intact and comprehensive.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 3 Air Batu Satu Roof in the Islamic Religious Education subject where in this subject teachers still often use the lecture method where students only listen to the teacher during learning, however the teacher also combines the lecture method with other learning methods such as discussion and question and answer methods. This research is at SMP Negeri 3 Air Batu Satu Atap in the Islamic Religious Education subject where in this subject teachers still often use the lecture method where students only listen to the teacher during learning, however teachers also combine the lecture method with other learning methods such as discussion and questioning methods. answer. This research resulted that the lecture method using the impromptu method was able to enliven the class atmosphere and was able to increase interest in learning and also improve student learning outcomes for students at SMP Negeri 3 Air Batu Satu Atap.
