Abstract

Industri perhotelan merupakan merupakan salah satu sarana pariwisata yang berperan penting dalam peningkatan pendapatan di bidang pariwisata, namun memiliki risiko sebagai tempat penularan dan penyebaran penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran penerapan Hygiene dan persyaratan sanitasi di Hotel Graha Timoho  di Kota Surakarta berdasarkan pada Permenkes No. 80 Tahun 1990 tentang persyaratan kesehatan hotel. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi langsung berdasarkan kuesioner pemeriksaan kesehatan hotel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Hotel Graha Timoho  secara garis besar berada pada kategori sehat berdasarkan perhitungan penilaian Hygiene dan sanitasi sebesar 83%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa secara garis besar penerapan sanitasi Hotel Graha Timoho  memenuhi persyaratan Hygiene dan sanitasi ditinjau dari Permenkes No. 80 /1990, namun pada variabel persyaratan kamar dan ruang belum ada pemisahan ruang istirahat laki-laki dan perempuan serta belum tersedianya loker bagi karyawan, perbandingan jumlah kamar mandi dan toilet dengan jumlah karyawan  sebesar 2 : 15, penataan barang di gudang yang masih belum rapi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut pihak hotel diharapkan dapat mempertahankan variabel yang telah memenuhi syarat dan memperbaiki persyaratan yang belum terpenuhi Kata kunci : Hygiene, Sanitasi, Perhotelan

Abstract

Symptoms of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) are complaints experienced by a person in the respiratory tract. Respiratory tract disease is the third leading cause of death in workers, which is 21%. Some of the causes of ARI are dust exposure and non-compliance with the use of personal protection equipment (PPE), especially those that are in direct contact with dust. This study uses an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach. Sampling by simple random sampling a number of respondents 80 respondents. Measurement of dust in the work environment using a digital dust monitor, assessment of symptoms of ARI using a questionnaire from the Ministry of Health in 2002 and the use of PPE based on observation sheets. The result of this research is that the average dust concentration is 4.606 mg/m3. for symptoms of ARI the majority of respondents are in the moderate category. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was a significant relationship between dust levels and the use of PPE with ARI symptoms with a p value of 0.045 and 0,024. There is a strong and unidirectional significant relationship between exposure to TSP dust and the use of PPE with ARI symptoms so that terminal users are expected to obey the use of masks to reduce the risk of dust exposure. Keywords : Acute Respiratory Infection, Dust, PPE

Abstract

Industri makanan dengan proses produksinya menyebabkan KAK dan PAK seperti di PT. X. Hasil pengukuran tekanan panas rata-rata pada bagian shaping folding adalah 36,7 ⁰C, dan hasil pengukuran kelelahan kerja mengalami kelelahan kerja sedang. Kondisi panas yang berlebihan akan menyebabkan kelelahan dan kantuk, mengurangi stabilitas dan menyebabkan kelelahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh tekanan panas terhadap kelelahan kerja pada tenaga kerja shaping folding di Unit 2 PT. X. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Unit 2 PT.WXY pada tahun 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan hasil sampel sebanyak 50 orang. Instrumen penelitian untuk mengukur tekanan panas menggunakan Area Heat Stress Monitor dan kelelahan menggunakan Reaction Timer. Tekanan panas di tempat kerja dan kelelahan kerja dengan uji data statistik Pearson Product Moment. Hasil tekanan panas tertinggi 37,4 ⁰C dan kelelahan tertinggi dengan waktu reaksi 628 mili detik. Dari hasil pengukuran diketahui 34 orang mengalami kelelahan kerja sedang. Hasil analisis dengan uji Pearson Product Moment, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara tekanan panas dengan kelelahan kerja (p = 0,000). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh tekanan panas terhadap kelelahan kerja pada tenaga kerja bagian shaping folding di Unit 2 PT. X. Kata Kunci: Tekanan Panas, Kelelahan Kerja

Abstract

Perkembangan industri sangat berkembang pesat sehingga mesin-mesin produksi tidak berhenti dalam 24 jam. Salah satu industri yang ada di masyarakat adalah penggilingan padi. Mesin penggilingan padi umumnya berisik dan kebisingannya melebihi nilai ambang batas (NAB). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pekerja penggilingan padi tentang dampak kebisingan terhadap kesehatan dan pencegahan kebisingan.  Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan jumlah peserta yang turut dalam kegiatan ini 15 orang. Sebelum  kegiatan melakukan survei pendahuluan untuk pengukuran kebisingan dan didapatkan hasil kebisingan di penggilingan padi melebihi NAB serta tanpa menggunakan APD. Selama pelaksanaan pekerja proaktif dalam sesi diskusi terutama mengenai dampak terhadap kesehatan. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pekerja memahami dampak kebisingan terhadap kesehatan dan dapat melakukan pengendalian di tempat kerja.

Abstract

The university, one of the primary channels for the transfer of information, is heavily influenced by several outside forces. It is well-recognized that noise can interfere with learning and teaching, upsetting and distracting pupils in the process. This investigation aimed to gauge the noise intensity and plot its dispersion across Sebelas Maret University's Mesen Campus. This study was carried out at the Mesen Campus of Sebelas Maret University. Using a sound level meter and the GPS Essentials application to create waypoints for the research locations, the data collection and measurement method is carried out directly in the field with a quantitative approach for 10 minutes at each place. The measurement time is conducted during the course of the 9-hour activity at regular intervals between 08.30 and 17.30, with a measuring distance every three hours in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Descriptive data analysis was done on the collected information by comparing the value Leq, and the noise quality criterion. Noise mapping using the Surfer software. The findings revealed that the noise level at the FSRD's entrance was 90.37 dB(A), that it was 81.45 dB(A) in front of the FSRD class, 78.35 dB(A) in the middle of the field, and that it was 55.57 dB(A) in front of the vocational school. The noise level surpasses the quality standard established by the government in KEP-48/MENLH/11/1996 regarding the Noise Level Standard for School Activities or the Like, which is 55 dB(A), according to all of the data. Due to the increased amount of highway activity, the four points' noise levels are at their maximum between 16:30–17:30 in the afternoon.

Abstract

This training on developing STEM-based teaching modules aims to equip science teachers with the knowledge and tools needed to create teaching materials, such as modules, that will be used in classroom learning. The development of modules is not only relevant to the curriculum but also capable of integrating STEM concepts. This STEM-based teaching module can enhance critical thinking skills and foster students' creativity to face the challenges of the 21st century. The method in this training session began with the presentation of material on STEM education, guidelines for module development, explanations of examples and types of teaching modules, and provided teachers with the opportunity to collaborate or discuss with the facilitators. Because the module that has been developed is expected to integrate STEM concepts into learning materials both in the classroom and during independent study.  Thus, in this training, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on both teachers and students so that it can be implemented effectively in the classroom with a more interactive and innovative approach, thereby increasing students' interest in learning and enhancing their ability to solve complex problems.
