Abstract

The issue addressed in this study is the low ability of children to recognize English vocabulary. There is a lack of variation in the use of teaching media for vocabulary instruction. The research questions are as follows: first, does the use of animated videos enhance children's ability to recognize English vocabulary? Second, how can animated videos be utilized to improve vocabulary recognition? The aim of this research is to improve early childhood vocabulary recognition in English through the use of animated videos, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of these videos in vocabulary instruction at SDN 020 Ridan Permai for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method employed in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart. The subjects of this study consist of 28 students. Data were collected using both test and non-test methods.

Abstract

The availability of clean water in the area of Dusun V Kampung Baru is very minimal. On average, the quality of well water in residents is yellowish, muddy and oily. To solve this problem, residents of Dusun V Kampung Baru received assistance from the PAMSIMAS clean water program from the government. Clean water facilities have been built and water has been distributed to homes in need. Therefore, an evaluation is needed in the implementation of this program, to determine the achievement of the objectives of this program. The evaluation indicators are seen from the aspects of the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the PAMSIMAS program. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis, based on the results of observations and interviews with PAMSIMAS water customers. When viewed from the effectiveness indicator, the clean water program is quite effective for residents of Dusun V Kampugn Baru, because the program's objectives have been achieved, namely clean water has been obtained and has been distributed to residents' homes. Likewise, from the efficiency indicator, the implementation of the PAMSIMAS program is running efficiently. This is assessed from the construction of clean water facilities that are in accordance with the plan by utilizing existing human resources and optimizing available funds. With the evaluation of the PAMSIMAS clean water program, we can measure the achievement of the PAMSIMAS program objectives and also provide a picture of the implementation of PAMSIMAS in Dusun V Kampung Baru to date

Abstract

Perusahaan Umum Daerah (Perumda) Air Minum Tirta Kampar Unit Bangkinang Kota memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan air bersih untuk masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dihadapi Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar dalam pengelolaan layanan air bersih dan merancang ulang strategi yang di terapkan oleh Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan wawancara dan penyebaran angket kepada karyawan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar dan pelanggan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar. Analisa data melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji ini dilakukan untuk mengukur kekuatan kuesioner yang dibuat agar bisa digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan, seperti sumber daya alam yang melimpah, serta peluang, seperti kemajuan teknologi dan meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat, untuk memperluas jaringan distribusi dan memperluan jaringan layanan. Di sisi lain, kelemahan seperti infrastruktur yang belum optimal dan ancaman berupa tarif tinggi, untuk menangani itu Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar bisa bekerja sama dengan pemerintah atau lembaga terkait memberikan program subsidi untuk pelanggan berpenghasilan rendah. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi pengembangan infrastruktur, inovasi teknologi, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, dan sosialisasi kebijakan kepada masyarakat. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kapasitas pelayanan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Kampar secara berkelanjutan dan memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh PlayStation sebagai fasilitas hiburan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan di XYZ Coffee Shop. Coffee shop saat ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat menikmati minuman, tetapi juga sebagai ruang sosial yang dituntut memberikan nilai tambah bagi pelanggan. Salah satu strategi yang diterapkan adalah penyediaan fasilitas permainan PlayStation untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif-verifikatif. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 83 responden yang ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin dari populasi sebanyak 500 pelanggan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PlayStation berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) juga memperlihatkan bahwa keberadaan PlayStation memberikan kontribusi cukup besar terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, meskipun faktor lain seperti kualitas pelayanan, harga, dan suasana kafe juga berperan penting. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penyediaan fasilitas hiburan interaktif seperti PlayStation merupakan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan di coffee shop. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of PlayStation as an entertainment facility on customer satisfaction at XYZ Coffee Shop. Coffee shops today are not only places to enjoy beverages, but also social spaces that are expected to provide added value for customers. One of the strategies applied is the provision of PlayStation games to enhance the customer experience. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 83 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula from a population of 500 customers. The results show that PlayStation has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) also indicates that PlayStation contributes considerably to customer satisfaction, although other factors such as service quality, price, and café atmosphere also play an important role. This study concludes that providing interactive entertainment facilities such as PlayStation is an effective strategy to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty in coffee shops.

Abstract

The development of Bangkinang-Pekanbaru toll road infrastructure has become the government's focus in efforts to improve connectivity and accelerate economic growth in the region. This research aims to analyze the impact of toll road construction on the income of restaurants and souvenir businesses before and after the operation of the toll road. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with interviews with business owners. Data analysis uses a normality test to ensure the data is normally distributed and a difference test (T-test) to determine differences in respondents' income. The results of the research show that there is a significant difference in income between restaurants and souvenir businesses before and after the toll road. The results of the income normality test at restaurants are normally distributed data with a Sig value. 0.057 > 0.05, and income from the souvenir business is also normally distributed data with a Sig value. 0.281 > 0.05. The results of the Paired Sample T-test concluded that the restaurant obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted "there was a difference in income at the restaurant before and after the Bangkinang-Pekanbaru toll road", whereas in The souvenir business obtained a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted "there was a difference in income in the souvenir business before and after the Bangkinang-Pekanbaru toll road". This research contributes to further understanding of the relationship between toll road infrastructure development and local economic growth, especially in the context of income from restaurants and souvenir businesses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan badan narkotika kabupaten kampar. Lokasi penelitian ini di Badan Narkotika Kabupaten Kampar. Sedangkan waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret 2016. Sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Badan Narkotika Kabupaten Kampar, yang berjumlah 68 orang. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji autokorelasi, uji multikolonieritas, uji heterokedasitas), serta uji hipotesis yaitu Uji t (secara parsial), uji F (uji secara simultan) dan uji koefisien determinasi). Hasil penelitian ini secara parsial; gaji, lingkungan kerja, kesempatan untuk maju berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Badan Narkotika Kabupaten Kampar. Dan Secara simultan; gaji, lingkungan kerja, kesempatan untuk maju secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Badan Narkotika Kabupaten Kampar.

Abstract

Statistical literacy is a fundamental competency for Disaster Management students, as disaster-related decision-making relies heavily on the analysis of risk, vulnerability, capacity, and disaster impact data. However, various studies and learning experiences indicate that students still face difficulties in understanding applied statistical concepts and operating data analysis software such as the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). This community service activity aims to improve the statistical literacy of Disaster Management students through structured, practical, and disaster-contextualized SPSS training. The implementation method includes stages of needs analysis, training module design, hands-on practice–based training, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activity show a significant improvement in students’ understanding of basic statistical concepts, their ability to process and analyze disaster-related data using SPSS, as well as increased confidence in preparing data-driven scientific reports. This program is expected to contribute to improving the quality of human resources in the field of disaster management by promoting evidence-based decision making.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of financial technology (fintech) has fundamentally transformed the way individuals’ access, use, and manage financial services. Digital platforms such as mobile banking, peer-to-peer lending, digital wallets, robo-advisors, and cryptocurrencies have increased financial inclusion while simultaneously introducing new risks related to data security, consumer protection, and financial decision-making (Arner et al., 2017; Gomber et al., 2017). In this context, digital financial literacy has emerged as a critical capability for individuals to navigate increasingly complex financial ecosystems. This literature review synthesizes international peer-reviewed studies on digital financial literacy in the fintech era, focusing on conceptual development, key dimensions, determinants, and socio-economic implications. The findings indicate that digital financial literacy extends beyond traditional financial knowledge by incorporating digital skills, technological awareness, and behavioral competencies (Morgan & Trinh, 2019; OECD, 2020). Higher levels of digital financial literacy are consistently associated with improved financial behavior, increased adoption of fintech services, reduced vulnerability to fraud, and enhanced financial well-being (Lusardi & Mitchell, 2014; Xiao & O’Neill, 2016). However, substantial disparities persist across age, income, education, and geographic location. This review concludes that strengthening digital financial literacy requires coordinated policy interventions, inclusive education strategies, and responsible fintech design to ensure that digital finance contributes to sustainable and equitable economic development.
