Abstract

The process of selling palm fruit is still manual, only relying on the interaction media between the palm oil platform owner and oil palm farmers directly, while the farmers who will sell must come to the palm oil platform, for price information is still known manually only when the sale of palm oil is carried out and data processing unorganized palm oil sales. The solution to this problem is to build a mobile-based palm oil platform information system using the android studio framework with the java language. The purpose of this system is to avoid price monopoly by oil palm platform owners and to offer an information system as a solution for open communication information between oil palm farmers and oil palm platform owners. Furthermore, increasing the competitiveness of open and healthy businesses among palm oil platforms. The expected result is a palm oil platform information system to assist oil palm sales activities in providing information to oil palm farmers and this system can be accessed at any time using the internet network.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model and simulation of the efficiency of the use of the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang - XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road compared to the Pekanbaru - Padang national road. The newly built toll road is expected to reduce congestion and increase the efficiency of time and fuel. The research method used is a quantitative approach with modeling and simulation techniques to analyze travel time, speed, distance and fuel used. Data were collected directly by conducting comprehensive trials on the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang - XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road and the Padang - Pekanbaru National Road with an equivalent route. From the data that has been collected, modeling and simulation were carried out to see the level of efficiency of toll road use compared to national roads. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for users of the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang - XIII Kota toll road with the Pekanbaru - Padang National Road between the two which is the most efficient in terms of time and fuel consumption accurately.

Abstract

The issue addressed in this study is the low ability of children to recognize English vocabulary. There is a lack of variation in the use of teaching media for vocabulary instruction. The research questions are as follows: first, does the use of animated videos enhance children's ability to recognize English vocabulary? Second, how can animated videos be utilized to improve vocabulary recognition? The aim of this research is to improve early childhood vocabulary recognition in English through the use of animated videos, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of these videos in vocabulary instruction at SDN 020 Ridan Permai for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method employed in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart. The subjects of this study consist of 28 students. Data were collected using both test and non-test methods.
