Abstract

Pelaksanaan PkM dalam bentuk pelatihan GeoGebra bagi guru Matematika di SMA Negeri 2 Waingapu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi GeoGebra. PkM ini menggunakan metode observasi, ceramah, demonstrasi, serta diskusi. Kegiatan PkM ini memiliki hasil berupa pelaksanaan pelatihan bagi para guru serta implementasi materi pelatihan.Adapun hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi GeoGebra. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil monitoring diperoleh informasi bahwa hasil pelatihan ini telah diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran Matematika di kelas.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter meupakan pendidikan yang dilakukan untuk membentuk watak, moral, serta budi pekerti sehingga menjadi landasan bagi peserta didik dalam berpikir dan bertindak yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan ciri khas pada siswa tersebut. OSIS (Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah) merupakan seuatu organisasi di tingkat sekolah di Indonesia dan salah satu fungsinya yaitu menjadi sarana bagi pelaksanan pembinaan kesiswaan melalui 10 pokok kegiatan pembinaan kesiswaan di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil studi awal ditemukan bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang kurang disiplin terhadap waktu, membuat keributan, menurunnya rasa hormat terhadap guru maupun orang yang lebih tua dan tindakan yang menyimpang lainnya, sehingga mendorong peneliti untuk mengkaji peranan OSIS dalam pembinaan karakter siswa dengan pemikiran bahwa penguatan pendidikan karakter tidak saja bertumpu kepada guru melalui pelaksanan pembelajaran dikelas tetapi dapat juga dibina melalui kegiatan organisasi kesiswaan. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan OSIS dalam membentuk karakter siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kambera. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, dilakasanakan mulai Januari sampai Desember 2020. Subjek penelitian yaitu Pembina dan Pengurus OSIS serta siswa. Fokus penelitian adalah program kerja OSIS berdasarkan 10 pokok kegiatan pembinaan yang diselenggarakan oleh setiap seksi. Sehingga melalui studi dokumen, wawancara, dan kuesioner diperoleh data pelaksanaan kegiatan OSIS dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kambera. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran OSIS dalam membentuk karakter siswa sangat baik. Terdapat 10 nilai karakter yang dibentuk yaitu nilai religius, toleransi, disiplin dan kerja keras, keatif, rasa ingin tahu, mandiri, cinta tanah air dan semangat kebangsaan, cinta damai dan menghagai prestasi, peduli sosial dan bertanggungjawab.

Abstract

Mastering algebraic concepts and skills has been one of the demands in the Indonesian curriculum for the past few decades. Teaching algebraic concepts and skills is one of the materials taught from the junior high school to university level. Therefore, it is mandatory for pre service mathematics teacher students to master and even fluently use algebraic concepts in order to develop students' algebraic thinking skills. Thus, this study aims to understand and obtain a description of students' algebraic thinking abilities and misconceptions in solving problems. This research using descriptive qualitative. Analysis was conducted using tests and in-depth interviews with students who had taken linear algebra courses in semester 3 of the Mathematics Education Study Program at private university in NTT. Student’s algebraic thinking skills in solving problems were analyzed using Kieran's (2004) indicators consisting of: generational activities, transformational activities, and global meta-level activities. The results of the research show that…. In generational activities, students in the low, medium, and high categories have misconceptions. In transformational activities and global meta-level activities, misconceptions are only carried out by low category students.

Abstract

Problem solving is a measure or knowledge that needs to be mastered in solving problems related to real life. This ability is very important to build new knowledge as well as develop ideas. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the ability and describe the weaknesses of grade VII students in solving math problems in integer operating materials at SMP Negeri 1 Waingapu. Descriptive research type with qualitative approach. The instruments used were tests, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of the study were the wakasek part of the curriculum, mathematics teachers and 7th grade students. The results found that the average math problem solving ability of students based on Polya steps is 59.86 and is in a fairly good category. This is because students do not write down the information encountered, do not analyze the problem first, do not write down the strategies used in solving the problem, lack of basic ability in doing calculations, difficulty in placing the sign of the calculation operation, not used to re-examine the answers that have been done and not used to write conclusions.
