<![CDATA[Organizational culture is a demand for every element of an organization to form attitudes and behaviors that are in accordance with the vision and mission. Nurse performance is one of the factors determining the success of a service in the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between organizational culture and nurse performance in the Inpatient Room of Liun Kendage Tahuna Hospital. This study is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach. The sample was taken based on the number of respondents as many as 46 people using total sampling technique. The results of the analysis obtained a significant value of p = 0.009 less than the value (a) ≤0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between organizational culture and nurse performance in the Inpatient Room of Liun Kendage Hospital, Tahuna. It is expected to add insight for respondents about a strong organizational culture by increasing the level of education for nurses who have D3 graduates so that nurse performance will be better.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa melalui media audio visual terhadap pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pra ekseprimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 24 responden dengan menggunakan total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan SAP dan lembar kuisioner. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan komputer IBM SPSS Versi 23. Untuk uji Analisa menggunakan Mc.Nemar dengan tingkat kemaknaan (α < 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan uji statistic Mc.Nemar didapatkan nilai ≤ ρ = (α<0,001). Artinya Ha diterima atau ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengaruh edukasi media audio visual terhadap pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa di Universitas Muhammadiyah Manado. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa pemberian edukasi media audio visual dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan bencana pada mahasiswa keperawatan dan dapat dijadikan referensi bagi institusi pendidikan dan kesehatan dalam menyiapkan kurikulum pembelajaran dan kompetensi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan keperawatan bencana. <![CDATA[Dyspepsia is a medical condition characterized by pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen or solar plexus. Heartburn in dyspepsia sufferers occurs because the sphincter muscles in the esophagus and stomach do not close completely, resulting in a back-flow of stomach acid into the esophagus. A behavior to reduce pain in dyspepsia patients is a warm compress. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of warm compresses on pain intensity of dyspepsia pain patients on Emergency Room of at Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital Manado. The method in this research is a quasi experiment with one group pre-post test. With 10 peoples of samples taken by using accidental sampling. Data collection uses SOPs and observation sheets. Next, the collected was processed using the Mc-Nemar test.The results of this study showed the majority of subjekts experienced changes after applying a warm compress (90%). The results of data analysis tested using Mc-Nemar obtained a value of p=0.031 (a<0.05), meaning there was an effect of warm compresses on pain intensity in dyspepsia patients in emergency room at Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital Manado.The conclusion, the compresses on the intensity of pain in dyspepsia patients in the Emergency Room at Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital Manado. It is recommended for the hospitals staff and dyspepsia sufferers to apply warm compresses to help reduce pain.]]>

<![CDATA[An effective leader is a prerequisite for determining safe treatment. The factor that affects the performance of nurses in the implementation of patient safety is leadership. The leadership role in improving patient safety in particular encourages and guarantees the implementation of patient safety programs in an integrated manner. Objective: To know the leadership functions of the chief of the room with the performance of nurses in the application of patient safety in the hospital room at RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Type of research: using descriptive analytical research methods with cross sectional approaches. The population of this research taken 115 population, The sample were 35 peoples using random sampling technique. Using the Chi-Square Statistical Test with a level of prosperity α ≤ 0,05. Result: Obtained a p=0,000 (α ≤ 0.05) ) that means there is a relationship between the function of the head of the chamber and the performance of nurses in the implementation of patient safety in the hospital's nursing room.The conclusion in this is that there is a link between the leadership function on the chief of the room and the performance of nurses in the application of patient safety in the Hospital Room of the RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. The advice is expected to be the evaluation material for the future in order to create quality of nursing services.]]>

<![CDATA[Workload is a description of the volume of work. In hospitals, the workload covers many aspects and this has an impact on compliance with the implementation of SOPs for new patient admissions which can be influenced by high workloads. The aim of this research is to determine "The relationship between emergency room nurse workload and compliance with standard operational procedures for accepting new patients." This research was conducted using a cross-sectional Descriptive Analytical research method, which emphasizes the time of measurement or observation and independent and dependent variables only once. The population in this study was 23 subjekts with a sampling technique using total sampling technique and the sample for this study was 23 subjekts. Data collection uses questionnaires and observation sheets. Analyzed using the chi square test. Based on the chi-square results, it can be seen that the p value is 0.026, which is smaller than p (α < 0.5), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the workload of emergency department nurses and compliance with the implementation of new patient admission procedures. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between the workload of emergency department nurses and compliance with the implementation of new patient admission procedures at RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih, Manado City. Suggestions to hospitals can pay more attention to the workload they experience so as to provide good service to patients.]]>

<![CDATA[Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) penerimaan pasien baru merupakan pedoman yang berisi tentang proses atau tahapan yang dilakukan oleh perawat dalam menerima pasien baru yang masuk dalam ruangan rawat inap. Tingkat kepuasan pasien merupakan perasaan senang atau bahagia yang dirasakan oleh pasien yang berada di ruang rawat inap terhadap penerapan SOP penerimaan pasien baru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan SOP penerimaan pasien baru dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di ruangan rawat inap RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analitik korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 45 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Kuesioner. Data dianalisia menggunakan Uji Statistik Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan nilai p=0,000 lebih kecil dari taraf signifikan yaitu 0,05 artinya ada Hubungan Penerapan SOP Penerimaan Pasien Baaru dengan Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien di Ruangan Rawat Inap RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini ada hubungan Penerapan SOP Penerimaan Pasien Baru dengan Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien di Ruangan Rawat Inap RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Diharapkan perawat dapat melaksanakan penerimaan pasien baru sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan sehingga pasien dan keluarga dapat berperan aktif dalam perawatan dan terjalin hubungan kerjasama yang baik antara pasien dan petugas.]]>

<![CDATA[Loss of consciousness is a common problem in the health world. This situation dominates the Emergency Guard Unit in the hospital service. Unconsciousness is a mental and behavioral condition of decreased comprehension, coherence, and motivational capacity. As a result of the loss of consciousness in the patient that occurs, sometimes the family does not know when an unwanted situation occurs because of something that happens and resulting in that loss of awareness occurs. The aim of this study is to find out the impact of IGD nurses' health education on the decline in patient awareness on the knowledge of the patient's family at the IGD RSU Manado Medical Center. Research uses experimental research methods using one group research design pretest-posttest design. Sample of 15 respondents using purposive sampling. Data collection using questionnaires. Analysed with Mc Namer's statistical test. Gender survey results most female respondents 8 (53.3%), age most 17-25 years and 26-35 years 6 respondents (40,0%), most college education 8 respondents (53,3%), most employment private employees 7 respondents (46.7%). The Mc Namer test results are given a p value of 0,000 where < α 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of health education nurses IGD on decreased awareness in patients to the knowledge of the family of patients at IGD RSU Manado Medical Center. The recommendation is that the hospital should pay attention to health education for families, especially in the IGD room.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract Nurse work stress is a condition of the subjective outcome of an individual's life that can be an interaction between an individual and the working environment that can threaten and stress the psychological, physiological, and behavioral behavior of a nurse. Working stress has a negative impact on workers' physical and mental health, decreased performance, lack of career development, and loss of employment. The aim of this study is to find out the relationship between the conflict of double roles and work stress in female nurses at Bhayangkara Hospital, Manado. Research uses analytical descriptive research methods using cross sectional research design. 43 Subjekts were sampled using purposive sampling. Data collection using questionnaires. Analysed with Chi Square statistical tests. Results of the study age of 26-35 years 31 Subjekts (72.1%), the length of work 1-5 years 34 Subjekt (79.1%), number of children 1 child 22 Subjekts (51.2%). The result of the chi square test is given a p value of 0.022, where < α 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between conflict of double roles and work stress in women nurses at Bhayangkara Hospital, Manado. It is hoped that the hospital will pay attention to the mental health of nurses to improve the quality of services.]]>

<![CDATA[Discharge planning needs to be implemented from the time the patient enters the hospital until the day of discharge. Providing effective information can increase the knowledge and skills of patients and families to carry out independent care at home which is assumed to be ready for discharge so that it is hoped that rehospitalization events will not occur. This study aims to see whether there is an influence of Discharge planning model five on readiness to go home and family. The research design used a quasi experiment with a two group pre and post test using a purposive sampling approach carried out on inpatient students. The research instrument used the Readiness For Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) questionnaire. Data analysis used the Paired T test. The results of research on 30 respondents using the Independent T test on the average readiness to go home after (posttest) patients in the Intervention and Control groups obtained P value = 0.000 < ? (0.05) there was a difference in the average stress after (posttest) in the Intervention group with the control group. Based on this research, Discharge planning model five is able to increase patient readiness to go home and it is hoped that it can provide input to hospitals so that they can make Discharge planning model five as a method that can be given to patients when the patient is admitted until the patient wants to prepare to go home.]]>

<![CDATA[Nurses need to improve the quality of their responses and complaint handling in serving patients, so that the quality of nursing services can be considered good and patients feel satisfied. In conditions of response time, healthcare personnel, especially nurses, are required to provide quick, accurate, and holistic handling immediately. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between nurses' response time and family complaint handling in the Emergency Room of RSUD Maria Walanda Maramis. The research uses a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study consisted of 68 respondents using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection on response time and complaint handling was conducted using observation sheets and questionnaires, and analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. The research results showed that the most common response time was the quick response time category, with 61 respondents (89.7%), and the most common complaint handling was in the good category, with 59 respondents (86.8%). The result of the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.004 where < α 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the nurses' response time and the handling of family complaints in the Emergency Room of RSUD Maria Walanda Maramis. Patient families are expected to provide constructive feedback regarding the emergency department services so that the hospital can continue to improve the quality of its services.]]>
