Abstract

Literasi matematika sangatlah penting dimiliki peserta didik karena memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di berbagai bidang. Namun literasi matematika peserta didik di Indonesia masih dianggap rendah yang disebabkan berbagai faktor salah satunya adalah math anxiety yang berdampak negatif terhadap penyelesaian soal matematika. Selain itu perbedaan gender juga dapat menimbulkan tingkat math anxiety yang berbeda pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi matematika peserta didik kelas V berdasarkan tingkatan math anxiety tinggi, sedang, rendah dan gender. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data  meliputi observasi, kuesioner, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu perwakilan peserta didik laki-laki dan peserta didik perempuan kelas V SDN yang memiliki tingkat math anxiey tinggi, sedang, rendah. Data yang dianalisis dilakukan pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan tringulasi Teknik yakni dengan membandingkan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan peserta didik laki-laki memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menjelaskan langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal literasi matematika. Pada kategori math anxiety tinggi peserta didik laki-laki memenuhi dua indikator dengan langkah penyelesaian cukup spesifik sedangkan peserta didik perempuan hanya 1 indikator dengan langkah penyelesaian spesifik. Pada math anxiety sedang dan rendah peserta didik laki-laki dan perempuan memenuhi tiga indikator namun terdapat perbedaan dari langkah penyelesaian yang diberikan. Kategori math anxiety sedang peserta didik laki-laki mampu memberikan langkah penyelesaian cukup spesifik, sedangkan peserta didik perempuan langkah penyelesaiannya kurang spesifik. Kategori math anxiety rendah pada peserta didik laki-laki mampu memberikan langkah penyelesaian spesifik, sedangkan peserta didik perempuan cukup spesifik

Abstract

The era of the Industrial revolution 4.0 encourages improvements in almost all aspects, especially changes in the field of education. One of the challenges faced by the education sector is the implementation of Information and Communication Technology or it can be abbreviated as ICT which plays a role in digital-based learning media for students. Canva is an application that supports learning media to be more effective and interesting. This research aims to develop audio-visual media with animation using the Canva application on the solar system material for class VI SD. The research method used by the researcher is the Research and Development (R&D) method and utilizes the 4D development model. Researchers used questionnaires, observations and hearings. The researcher used 26 elementary school sixth grade students as the research sample. The results of the media feasibility test obtained a number of 86% got a very decent category then the material test a number of 84% got a very decent category. In addition, of the students who included cognitive tests and media assessments, 87% and 88% respectively were obtained. In conclusion, Canva-based audio-visual media is able to support learning materials to be more effective and interesting for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the ability of mathematical understanding in terms of Self-Regulated Learning. This is based on students who have not been able to independently identify, recognize, detail and arrange several questions that will arise in the problem. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri in Jakarta. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is stated that students have three categories of Self-Regulated Learning, namely high, medium and low. Each question states an indicator of mathematical understanding ability, but only the high Self-Regulated Learning category fulfills all indicators of mathematical understanding ability. Because subjects with high Self-Regulated Learning category can understand all the questions that have been asked. Meanwhile, for students in the moderate Self-Regulated Learning category, they fulfill two indicators, namely; (1) students can define a concept in writing, (2) students can present a concept in a problem and turn it into another form of expression. For the low Self-Regulated Learning category, students do not meet two indicators of mathematical understanding ability, only meet one indicator, namely; can identify problems and determine the outcome of a problem.
