Abstract

This research is a literature review study that intends to determine trends in the use of E-learning for education, The method used is a literature study method where researchers search literature from 2018 to 2023 from various articles that have been published and journals indexed by Scopus, Sinta, Wos, Ebsco, Copernicus and Google Scholar. The result of this study is that currently the use of learning media has changed which previously only used blog-based media and changed to Virtual reality and is currently most widely used as a learning media. This can make it easier for learners to visualize learning. The conclusion obtained is that the use of e-learning media can increase learning value and can facilitate the understanding of lessons. The trend that is changing today is to use Virtual reality-based learning media. Researchers hope that this article will have a significant impact on learning and teaching staff can use learning media that are currently trending. The use of Virtual reality learning media makes it easier for students to understand visual learning and in terms of cost can be more efficient.

Abstract

Education is very important for human life. Many of them are vying for the best education in the world to guarantee a better future. The thing that is very concerned about in Education is learning and also the right method of teaching, because that way it can give birth to a competitive and quality generation. One of them is the role of cloud computing technology, which is a combination of the use of computer technology and internet-based development. A way or method that makes it easy for users to access information without knowing what is in it, being expert with it or having control over it. Cloud computing is an important technology that has helped many institutions and schools use distance learning, and can support Education's accessibility and scalability. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of cloud computing technology in increasing the accessibility and scalability of more advanced education and being able to create a generation that is highly competitive and virtuous. The method used in this study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to respondents as many as 15 statements about the use of cloud computing technology in education. The results of this study proved to be a very effective role for cloud computing technology in improving education, because this technology can increase students' interest in learning and make them enthusiastic in learning, so as to create an interactive learning atmosphere. The implication of this latest technology is to make learning more interesting and easily accessible anytime and anywhere by students. Assignments can be collected online by utilizing various supporting educational platforms and application delivery of subject matter.

Abstract

Untuk mengatasi permasalahan terlambatnya anak diajarkan membaca, serta menurunkan peringkat indonesia 62 dalam hal membaca dari 70 negara, berdasarkan hasil penelitian program for internasional student assessment (PISA) tahun 2019. Adanya buku bahasa ingris bersuara untuk anak usia dini ini, bisa meningkatkan minat baca anak usia dini, serta mengatasi permasalahan tentang terlambatnya anak diajarkan membaca. Hasil penelitian ini mendapati 40 sensor sentuh diterapkan dirancangan buku, karena controller arduino nano memiliki 13 Pin digital, maka metode multiplixer pada penambahan button digunakan, sehingga 40 button bisa diterapkan di controller arduino. Rancangan buku  memiliki 8 halaman, tiap halaman memiliki jenis jenis kosa kata dan objek nyala  yang berbeda beda pada tiap materi, sedangkan tegangan kerja 5VDC yang disupply dari 14.8VDC baterai 18650 (4 cell baterai), dilengkapi dengan modul suara df player mini yang memiliki sekitar 128 rekaman suara berbahasa ingris dan bahasa indonesia dan ditampilkan di monitoring LCD 2004+I2C. Hasil penelitian mendapati bahwa antusiasnya para ibu dan anak dalam suara buku bahasa ingris Kecerdasan buatan memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih dipersonalisasi, dimana buku bersuara dapat menyesuaikan kecepatan atau tingkat kesulitan berdasarkan kemampuan individu anak. Ini mendukung pendekatan belajar yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak, sehingga proses belajar bahasa Inggris menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan menarik

Abstract

In today's digital era, information technology has influenced various aspects of life, including financial transaction methods. Digital payments are one practical solution to simplify transactions and reduce the use of cash. One of the increasingly popular digital payment methods in Indonesia is QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). QRIS is a QR code standard for digital payments that makes it easier for consumers and business actors to make transactions. However, there are still many Al Ma'shum High School teachers who do not fully understand and utilize this technology. Therefore, counseling is needed to improve the knowledge and skills of Al Ma'shum High School Teachers in using QRIS. The methods used in this activity are socialization, education and Q&A. Counseling on digital payment methods using QRIS is expected to increase the understanding and adoption of this technology for Al Ma'shum High School teachers. With this activity, it is hoped that Al Ma'shum High School teachers who have businesses can utilize QRIS optimally, so that financial transactions become more efficient and secure. Support from various parties is highly expected for the success of this activity.Keywords: teachers; digital payments; QRIS  Abstrak: Dalam era digital saat ini, teknologi informasi telah mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk metode transaksi keuangan. Pembayaran digital menjadi salah satu solusi praktis untuk mempermudah transaksi dan mengurangi penggunaan uang tunai. Salah satu metode pembayaran digital yang semakin populer di Indonesia adalah QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). QRIS merupakan standar QR code untuk pembayaran digital yang memudahkan konsumen dan pelaku usaha dalam melakukan transaksi. Namun, masih banyak guru-guru SMA Al Ma’shum yang belum sepenuhnya memahami dan memanfaatkan teknologi ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Guru-Guru SMA Al Ma’shum dalam menggunakan QRIS. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu sosialisasi, edukasi dan tanya jawab. Penyuluhan tentang metode pembayaran digital menggunakan QRIS diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan adopsi teknologi ini bagi guru-guru SMA Al Ma’shum. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan guru-guru SMA Al Ma’shum yang memiliki usaha dapat memanfaatkan QRIS secara maksimal, sehingga transaksi keuangan menjadi lebih efisien dan aman. Abstract

The increasing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational technologies has revolutionized language learning, particularly in enhancing listening skills—an area often regarded as challenging for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Despite the growing popularity of AI-based English learning applications, empirical evidence on their effectiveness remains limited. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of AI-powered language learning apps in improving the listening skills of EFL learners. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the research involved 60 undergraduate students divided into an experimental group using AI-based applications and a control group receiving traditional instruction. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, along with user experience questionnaires. The findings revealed a significant improvement in the listening comprehension scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. Moreover, students reported increased motivation and engagement when interacting with AI-enhanced features such as speech recognition, adaptive feedback, and real-time listening exercises. The study concludes that AI-based English learning apps are effective tools for developing listening skills, offering personalized and interactive learning experiences. These results provide valuable implications for educators, app developers, and policymakers in integrating AI technology into language education.

Abstract

The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology into language learning applications has become increasingly popular due to its potential to enhance user engagement and improve learning outcomes. However, the usability and user experience (UX) of such applications are critical factors that determine their effectiveness. This study explores the usability and UX of language learning applications utilizing AR technology, aiming to evaluate how these applications meet the needs and preferences of users, and how they influence learning efficiency. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with users who have engaged with AR-based language learning applications. Participants were asked to assess the usability aspects, such as ease of navigation, user interface design, and responsiveness, as well as their overall experience and satisfaction. The results show that users generally find AR-based language learning applications engaging and enjoyable, particularly for vocabulary acquisition and interactive learning activities. However, challenges related to technical issues, such as device compatibility and software glitches, were identified as barriers to a seamless experience. The study concludes that while AR has the potential to revolutionize language learning, further improvements in application stability, content design, and personalization are necessary to optimize usability and user satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is talked about the Islamic Religious Discourse of Malay Batu Bara. In this case, the researchers took the historic sites in Batu Bara as a support in the Islamic religion of Malay Batu Bara. Background with many historic sites Batu Bara which is considered by some people to have high noble values and touched to religious part of the community and make researcher interested to explore this anthropology history approach which found the contribution about various aspects of human life, society and culture but also showed  the procedure, technique and process. That is systematically arranged in disciplinary research to develop knowledge and obtain the object study. To implement this research the writer uses the methodology with a qualitative approach which results in descriptive data and the object under study is the Islamic religious of Malay Batu Bara. In collecting data researchers use the power of primary and secondary data. In analyzing the data researchers use data reduction, data presentation, and concluding that do data verification. Then in the validity of the data the researcher uses the degree of trustworthiness, dependability, and certainty. In the scientific , researchers use anthropology  history. Researchers found many historic sites in Batu Bara which are very close. They are Kubah Datok Batu Bara, Sumur Istana Niat Lima Laras and Meriam Bogak. From the three historic sites, the researcher found a theoretical component from religion as said by C.Y.Glock and R. Stark that is the dimension of faith, dimension ritualistic, dimension experiential, dimension consequential, and dimension intellectual. Besides that researchers also found religious Malay Batu Bara community also influenced by beliefs in occult things such as witchcraft, rituals rejecting reinforcements, sea spells, and also related to beliefs in traditions or customs such as abstinence forbids, tapai party and balimau bathing.

Abstract

Background: One of the negative actions in human relationships is betrayal. is not a new problem in human relationships. In this era, the phenomenon of betrayal often occurs around us. Betrayal can also occur in all types of human relationships i.e. marriage or romantic relationships, friendships, the world of work, etc. Aim: This study discusses betrayal in the novel Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. This study aims to reveal the types of friends' betrayal and to describe the impacts of protagonist's friends. Method: The researcher uses Larson's theory (2021) which took about the types of betrayal and Reis and Spencer's theory (2009) about the impacts of betrayal. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to reveling the data. The data is originally taken from the Thirteen Reasons Why novel. Findings: In this research  found five data to reveal the type of betrayal and twelve data to describe the impacts of betrayal. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of betrayal received by Hannah, i.e., intimate partner betrayal and interpersonal betrayal. The researcher also found that the impact that Hannah as a betrayal of her friends received is a loss of trust, a loss of relationship/friendship, and a loss of self-esteem.
