This study aims to explored the students’ obstacle in learning translation, increasing the students’ acticity in Translation learning, enhancing lecturer creativity in handle translation study to applied an approppriate method in teaching translation. The method of this study is qualitative which involved 12 respondents of English Department students Bumi Hijrah Tidore. Data was collected by doing observation and interview. It’s found that there are three important points become obstacles for students in learning translation, namely: 1). Student focus on learning is ignored. 2). Fearlessness in questioning in the class when confused with the material. Thus, when lecturers provide excersices, most of them are not able to finished well. 3). Involved in group activities are also still minimal, both group presentation tasks that take place in class or doing assignment. These obstacles were influenced by personality, Learning Motivation, Students’ Acticity in Learning Translation, and Supporting Media in understanding the translation theory such as still depended on google translation. The conclusion of this study is the students should learn and dare to questioning in a team. The lecturer also needed to adapt the method of teaching to please the learners.

This study aims to identify what obstacles are encountered by students in speaking, especially in speaking subjects. The type of this research is qualitative research. The subject of this research is students in semester 3 (three) of English Education Study Program, Bumi Hijrah University, Maluku Uatara. This type of research is qualitative research. Where data is obtained through observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that students of the English language education study program have obstacles in learning. These obstacles are in the form of 1. internal barriers which include: linguistic components (mental / fear, sentence composition, description / pronunciation and intonation, word selection, vocabulary / vocabulary). Content component (content relationship with topic). 2. External Barriers which include: Room conditions and knowledge of listeners. 3. Learning which includes: Learning methods and motivation.

This study aims to identificate the obstacles that the English Teacher faced in online learning and the solutions that teachers applied in solving the obstacles, also to identificate the method that the teachers used in teaching Grammar to students through online learning during pandemic Covid 19. Object of this study are 5 teachers of senior high school in Oba Utara Sub-District. A type of this study is qualitative, where is the data obtained from observation and interview. The data analysis carried out are raw data, organizing and preparing, reading through all the data, coding the data, description, and interpreting the meaning of description. The result of the study showed that the obstacles that the teacher faced are lack of internet network, limited of learning facilities such as handphone that students don’t have, the difficulty in teaching grammar by online, ineffective learning management, and learning assessment that is not appropriate with the assessment standard.

The purpose of this study was to explore the factors that influence the development of behavior and language in early childhood during the pandemic. The type of this research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were early childhood (2-3 years) totaling 4 children, as well as 4 mothers of these children. The data in this qualitative research were obtained through observation and interviews. Where observations were made on the activities of these children, while interviews were conducted on the mothers of these children. The results of this study indicate that there are factors that influence the development of behavior and language in early childhood during the pandemic. And the developmental factors of the four children are different. In general, the factors that influence the development of early childhood behavior consist of habits, imitation, family environment, media, and learning. While the factors that influence the language development of children consist of intelligence (the process of acquiring knowledge), parental experience/experience, educational status, number of children/number of family members, gender, and bilingualism.

The purpose of this research is to know the students writing skill through Applying expressive writing. This research use a Quantitative method with the population consist of first grade of senior high school of SMA YASMU SOFIFI those are consist of three classes, class X, class XI, and class XII. So, the sample of this research is class X consist 15 students as the sample. In this research, the researcher collects the data by using Pre-test, Treatment and Post-test. To analyzing the data, the researcher used Arikunto design. The result of this research showed that the students’ post-test more higher than pre-test. It can explained from the data that in Pre-test no one student got category good, there are only 4 students got category enough with the score 60-70, and there are 11 students got category good less with the score 50-60. And then the Post-test showed that there are 2 students got category good with the score 70-80, 10 students got category good enough with score 60-70. And the last is 3 students got category good less with score 50-60. It means through expressive writing can improve the students’ writing skill

This research was conducted based on the result of preliminary study that showed the unclear feedback given by the teacher which make the students incapable correct their writing. Furthermore, this research was carried out also based on the literature study that feedback is a debated issue among the second language acquisition (SLA) and (L2) writing researchers (Bitchener & Ferris, 2012; Ene & Kosobucki, 2016). This research aimed at investigated the kind of feedback given in learning writing process and the students’ perspective. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive with apply the observation, questionnaire and interview as the instrument. The 20 students and 1 English teacher were engaged in this research as the subject. The data analysis technique use was interactive model comprise of data collection, data coding, data displayed and making conclusion or verification (Miles & Humberman, 1994). The result obtained appeared that the corrective feedback given was wittingly and directly, and it has giving a positive impact showed by 94% students state Very Happy and 6% students were state happy

This research aimed to improve students’ speaking skill in English lesson through Action Learning Strategy. This research was conducted by using pre-experimental design. The subject of this research was XI IPA grade of SMAN Khusus Olahraga consisted of 12 students. This school using K13 as their curriculum and the KKM score was 70. The data was gathered through pre-test and post-test. The result of this research showed that there was increasing of students in speaking skill. The mean of pretest was 67,1 and the mean of 72,7. It indicated that the score of posttests was better than pretest. In the pretest, most of students got scores under 70 which below the KKM score but in the posttest their scores grew up above the KKM. The t-count scores (9,66) also higher than t-table (1,76). So the conclusion is the students’ speaking skill improved and became well when the Action Learning Strategy was implied in English lesson.

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing parents' efforts to improve children's development and language. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, using interviews to obtain the data. There were 2 participants in this study, namely parents of children aged 5 years. The results of this study indicate that the main factors influencing children's development and language are environmental factors, namely the family environment. For this reason, this research shows that parents' efforts to improve children's development are through giving nutritious food, developing inheritance from birth (potential), exploring, solving problems themselves, giving praise. While efforts to develop children's language consist of providing stimulus, giving them space to play, using media in learning, providing YouTube Kids which contains useful children's videos, repeating words to children, and asking lots of questions

Observasi awal kegiatan pendampingan di lakukan pada bulan Maret 2023 dengan pemerolehan informasi sebagai berikut; jumlah dosen tetap Universitas Bumi Hijrah Tidore berjumlah 66 orang, yang memiliki jabatan fungsional sebanyak 20 (30%) orang, dengan Jabatan Fungsional kedua puluh orang dosen tersebut adalah Asisten Ahli (AA) sedangkan dosen yang belum memiliki jabatan fungsional sebanyak 46 (70%) dosen. Berdasarkan data tersebut, maka representasi dosen dengan jabatan fungsional masih sangat rendah. hal ini menunjukan bahwa masih terdapat permasalahan terkait jenjang karier dosen di Universitas Bumi Hijrah yang perlu dicari solusinya. Hasil observasi awal menunjukan adanya beberapa masalah terkait jabatan fungsional dosen di Universitas Bumi Hijrah Tidore, diantaranya sebagai berikut : 1) Kurangnya perhatian pimpinan PT tentang pentingnya Jabatan Fungsional Dosen; 2) Kurangnya pengetahuan dosen tentang langkah-langkah dan tahapan mengajuan jabatan fungsional secara online; 3) Kurangnya pelibatan ahli dalam memberikan sosialisasi/pelatihan terkait jabatan fungsional dosen. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ini terdiri dari tujuan jangka pendek dan jangka panjang, tujuan jangka pendek dosen dapat mengajukan jabatan fungsionalnya saat pendampingan berlangsung, dan tujuan jangka panjang dosen dapat mengajukan jabatan fungsional ke tahap lebih tinggi. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah jumlah dosen yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pendampingan melebihi target yang ditentukan tim pelaksana, dan dosen yang berhasil akses proses pengajuan sampai tahapan akhir berjumlah 26 dosen (52%), sedangkan yang belum mengakses masuk alamat pengajuan fungsional dosen terdapat 24 (48%) dosen, hal ini terjadi karena dosen terkendala pada akun pribadi jafa dosen yang bermasalah. Perlu adanya pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan, sosialisasi/pelatihan lanjutan terkait Pengajuan Jabatan Fungsional dosen.
