Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is an important ability for students. The teachers can give HOTS problems to students started from the analyzing level, as preliminary habituation before they give more complex level (evaluating and creating level). Therefore, it is important to give training to create HOTS problem based on analyzing level of Bloom’s Taxonomy for mathematics teachers. This community service activity took place at Martapura 1 Junior High School. Participants in this activity were 30 Mathematics teachers in Kabupaten Banjar. The methods of implementing this training are presentations, demonstrations, and discussions. The advantage from the results of this activity are increasing the teacher's understanding of the HOTS concept in analyzing level, providing experience for the teacher to solve HOTS problems as well as creating HOTS problems. Thus, teachers are expected can give HOTS problems for students in mathematics learning and they can create HOTS problems for students' final exams.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to help students deal with the shortage of time when working on multiple choice math problems, especially in the trigonometric function limit material. This activity was carried out on April 24, 2019 at SMAN 1 Tamban, Barito kuala, South Kalimantan, attended by 25 students as participants. The implementation of this activity consists of opening and introduction, explanation and application of problem solving, then practice questions and gift giving, as well as closing and group photos. The material for the quick solution of trigonometric function limit problem solving consists of trigonometric limits using the spruck rules, trigonometric limits using the delete rules of "evil" cosines, and trigonometric limits using the "good" cosine change rules. In the midst of community service activities, the service team appealed to students to prioritize understanding of mathematical concepts in solving mathematical problems. Quick solutions are recommended to be used only on multiple choice tests and force students to solve problems in a short time. Overall, this activity went well and smoothly and without significant obstacles.

Abstract

Many indexes are involved on ordinary power series calculation. One of the most valuable discovery on previous research is Ops Transformation which able to simplify notations of ordinary power series to avoid some more complicated manipulations. The aim of this research is to generalize the concept of Ops Transformation to gain more benefit and wider applications. The main result of this research is a new formula of generalization of Ops Transformation which called C-Type Ops Transformation. Such transformation is able to solve some differential equations which involving Taylor series

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar is part of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities outside lecture class. One of the targeted schools for placement of MBKM Batch 3 is at SD Negeri Murung Raya 3 Banjarmasin. A mandatory forum for students in MBKM 3 must initiate a communication and coordination forum with schools. The Communication and Coordination Forum activity with the SDN Murung Raya 3 school was held offline on April 11, 2022, at SDN Murung Raya 3 Banjarmasin. This activity was attended by school principals, teachers, students of MBKM, and Field Supervisors. The agenda was discussed at the school communication and coordination forum, namely the results of school observations, program activities carried out during March, and planned program activities for Ramadan Month and After. The results obtained from discussions during the communication and coordination forum were competitions in the month of Ramadhan, teaching/collaborating with teachers in the learning process, sharing of IT (technology adaptation) with the teachers of SDN Murung Raya 3 Banjarmasin, and social service.

Abstract

The use of media for teaching is important in mathematics learning in order to make learning more meaningful and students can easily understand mathematical concepts. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide insight and skills to elementary school teachers so that they have expertise in the use of mathematics media for teaching, such as integer coins, multiplication houses and KPK and FPB boards. This activity was attended by teachers at Tamban Muara 1 Elementary School . The results of this activity were adding insight, increasing teacher motivation and improving teacher skills in using mathematics media for teaching.

Abstract

Pada umumnya guru memang melakukan refleksi diri namun hanya secara sebatas pemikiran tetapi tidak meluangkan waktu secara khusus atau panduan khusus bagaimana melakukan self-reflection terhadap pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan deskripsi guru dalam melaksanakan self-reflection dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Self-reflection dalam pembelajaran matematika dilakukan melalui jurnal mengajar, rekaman video, serta angket. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilaksanakan selama 5 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik triangulasi berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Data-data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis mengggunakan teknik analisis model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/ verification. Hasil refleksi terhadap pembelajaran matematika yang telah guru lakukan berupa hal positif dan negatif yang diidentifikasi oleh guru dari segi jurnal mengajar, rekaman video, dan angket serta solusi permasalahan oleh guru untuk pembelajaran berikutnya.  Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu self-reflection yang telah dilakukan guru memberikan guru cerminan dalam hal manajemen kelas, kelebihan dan kekurangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pola berpikir siswa, miskonsepsi siswa hingga mengarah kepada metode pembelajaran diskusi kelompok serta solusi tindak lanjut dari kekurangan pembelajaran sebelumnya. Kata kunci: self-reflection, pembelajaran matematika, refleksi pengajaran Abstract: In general, teacher did self-reflection but only in terms of thinking but did not take time specifically or special guideline how to do self-reflection in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the teacher's description in doing implementation of self-reflection on mathematics learning. The method of this research is  case study which is included in qualitative research. Self-reflection learning is done through teaching journals, video recordings, and questionnaires. The process of teacher in doing self-reflection in this research was done during 5 meetings. Techniques in collecting data using triangulation techniques which is observation, interviews, and documents. The data collected was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of reflection on the mathematics learning that the teacher has done are positive and negative things identified by the teacher in terms of teaching journals, video recordings, and questionnaires as well as problem solutions by the teacher for subsequent learning. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that teacher' self-reflection gave the teacher in terms of classroom management, the advantages and disadvantages of implementing learning, student thinking patterns, student misconceptions which are leading to group discussion learning methods and follow-up solutions to the shortcomings of previous learning. Keywords: self-Reflection, mathematics learning, reflection in teaching

Abstract

Teknologi pendidikan merupakan fenomena yang semakin berkembang dalam konteks pendidikan sekarang. Guru dapat mengembangkan konten pembelajaran yang inovatif serta menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Kesiapan dan adaptasi guru diperlukan dalam menghadapi tantangan perkembangan teknologi. Faktanya, tidak semua guru siap dalam menghadapi arus perkembangan teknologi di bidang pendidikan, khususnya guru senior. Kemampuan guru senior dalam menguasai teknologi pembelajaran masih terbatas meskipun mereka menunjukkan sikap optimis dan menyadari kebermanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu mereka juga perlu diberikan kesempatan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran dengan melakukan pendampingan. Guru senior yang terpilih adalah guru matematika dengan 2 tahun sebelum pensiun yang diterapkan pada siswa kelas 7 dengan siswa 28 orang. Teknologi pembelajaran diterapkan pada materi penyajian data menggunakan aplikasi web liveworksheet dan wordwall. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Guru senior serta siswa merasakan kebermanfaatan dari pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di kelas.
