Method: This study used a systematic review and meta-analysis with PICO (population: elderly, intervention: cognitive impairment, comparison: non-cognitive impairment, outcome: risk factors for falls in the elderly). Results: There is a relationship between cognitive impairment and the risk of falls in the elderly with AOR: 1.17 (1.11 to 1.23) with p < 0.00001. Keywords: cognitive impairment, risk fall, elderly.

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior often occurs during adolescence. Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. This period allows deviations to occur. Uncontrolled premarital sexual behavior can result in unwanted pregnancies which will damage the future of teenagers and their environment. This deviation is closely related to teenagers' lack of knowledge regarding reproductive health. Reproductive health knowledge is not only about changes during puberty, but also about the limits of relationships with the opposite sex. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between reproductive health knowledge and premarital sexual behavior among teenagers. The research method uses a cross sectional design with a questionnaire measuring instrument that has been tested for validity. Using the Pearson test with 95 respondents. Keywords: reproductive health knowledge, behavior, premarital sex

Abstract

Nutrition is an important component that must be met throughout the life cycle, especially for women. Women have nutritional needs according to their stage of development. Pregnant women have higher nutritional needs than women in general. The development of increasingly free associations has led to the emergence of pregnant women at a young age. Teenagers themselves still really need complete nutrition for their body development. Teenagers who have experienced pregnancy need special attention because their nutritional needs are not only related to their status as teenagers, but also need to pay attention to the condition of their bodies while pregnant. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological design. Informants were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection used in-depth interview techniques. Based on the results of the study, the fulfillment of balanced nutrition by informants was carried out according to health standards. Informants can also overcome difficulties faced such as nausea and vomiting, so that nutritional fulfillment can continue to be carried out. However, informants still lack knowledge about monitoring body weight during pregnancy as one of the indicators in fulfilling balanced nutrition for pregnant women. It is hoped that there will be a mentoring program for teenagers who experience unwanted pregnancies, especially mentoring during the pregnancy process and fulfilling their nutrition. Keywords: nutrition, teenager, pregnancy

Abstract

Bacground: Non-communicable diseases like stroke are on the rise in Indonesia and are a leading cause of disability. Stroke often results in upper extremity dysfunction, affecting daily independence. One emerging physiotherapy intervention in stroke rehabilitation is mirror therapy, which uses visual stimulation with mirrors to improve motor function. Objective: To determine the effect of mirror therapy exercises on improving upper extremity functional ability in post-stroke patients. Methods: This study employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 11 samples were selected using purposive sampling. The independent variable was mirror therapy exercises, and the functional ability of the upper extremity was measured using the CAHAI-9. Data were analyzed for normality using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and hypothesis testing was conducted using the Paired Sample T Test. Results: The mean upper extremity functional score before the intervention was 29.36, and increased to 32.45 after the intervention, with a p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Mirror therapy exercises have a significant effect on improving upper extremity functional ability in post-stroke patients. Suggestion : This exercise may serve as an effective physiotherapy intervention to enhance upper limb function in individuals recovering from stroke.
