Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior often occurs during adolescence. Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. This period allows deviations to occur. Uncontrolled premarital sexual behavior can result in unwanted pregnancies which will damage the future of teenagers and their environment. This deviation is closely related to teenagers' lack of knowledge regarding reproductive health. Reproductive health knowledge is not only about changes during puberty, but also about the limits of relationships with the opposite sex. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between reproductive health knowledge and premarital sexual behavior among teenagers. The research method uses a cross sectional design with a questionnaire measuring instrument that has been tested for validity. Using the Pearson test with 95 respondents. Keywords: reproductive health knowledge, behavior, premarital sex

Abstract

Nutrition is an important component that must be met throughout the life cycle, especially for women. Women have nutritional needs according to their stage of development. Pregnant women have higher nutritional needs than women in general. The development of increasingly free associations has led to the emergence of pregnant women at a young age. Teenagers themselves still really need complete nutrition for their body development. Teenagers who have experienced pregnancy need special attention because their nutritional needs are not only related to their status as teenagers, but also need to pay attention to the condition of their bodies while pregnant. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological design. Informants were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection used in-depth interview techniques. Based on the results of the study, the fulfillment of balanced nutrition by informants was carried out according to health standards. Informants can also overcome difficulties faced such as nausea and vomiting, so that nutritional fulfillment can continue to be carried out. However, informants still lack knowledge about monitoring body weight during pregnancy as one of the indicators in fulfilling balanced nutrition for pregnant women. It is hoped that there will be a mentoring program for teenagers who experience unwanted pregnancies, especially mentoring during the pregnancy process and fulfilling their nutrition. Keywords: nutrition, teenager, pregnancy

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) remains a significant public health challenge in Indonesia. Educational initiatives such as antenatal classes (kelas ibu hamil) serve as strategic promotive and preventive measures to improve maternal knowledge and preparedness for childbirth. This community service activity aimed to enhance pregnant women’s readiness by delivering interactive education covering danger signs during pregnancy, birth planning, family support, and stress management. The program involved 10 pregnant women in Polengan Village, who participated in a pre-test, an educational session, and a post-test. Results showed a significant increase in the average score from 62.5 to 90.0. Notable improvements were observed in knowledge of pregnancy danger signs (from 60% to 90%), planning for delivery and support persons (from 50% to 100%), and awareness of the importance of emotional support and stress management (from 40% to 80%). This program demonstrates that antenatal classes are an effective tool to improve maternal readiness, contribute to reducing MMR, and support the development of a healthier and more empowered future generation. Keywords: antenatal class, maternal mortality, maternal health education, safe pregnancy, community empowerment

Abstract

Bacground: Non-communicable diseases like stroke are on the rise in Indonesia and are a leading cause of disability. Stroke often results in upper extremity dysfunction, affecting daily independence. One emerging physiotherapy intervention in stroke rehabilitation is mirror therapy, which uses visual stimulation with mirrors to improve motor function. Objective: To determine the effect of mirror therapy exercises on improving upper extremity functional ability in post-stroke patients. Methods: This study employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 11 samples were selected using purposive sampling. The independent variable was mirror therapy exercises, and the functional ability of the upper extremity was measured using the CAHAI-9. Data were analyzed for normality using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and hypothesis testing was conducted using the Paired Sample T Test. Results: The mean upper extremity functional score before the intervention was 29.36, and increased to 32.45 after the intervention, with a p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Mirror therapy exercises have a significant effect on improving upper extremity functional ability in post-stroke patients. Suggestion : This exercise may serve as an effective physiotherapy intervention to enhance upper limb function in individuals recovering from stroke.

Abstract

Stroke is a problem that is often experienced by the elderly. A stroke occurs when a cerebral blood vessel ruptures or is blocked, causing a portion of the brain to lose its blood supply to carry the necessary oxygen, leading to tissue death. Neurological disorders, such as vestibular disorders, are one of the conditions and risk factors that can cause balance disorders. This study aims to determine the effect of Gaze Stability Exercise on the balance of the elderly with a history of post-stroke. This study used a type of pre-experiment research with a one-group pre-post test design. Samples were selected based on a purposive sampling method with a total sample of 20 elderly people. The intervention was carried out 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Balance measurement using the Time Up and Go Test (TUGT). The average TUGT before intervention was 17.81 seconds, and after intervention was 16.26 seconds. The results of statistical tests using the Paired T Test test the results obtained, a p-value of 0.002 (p <0.05). This study shows that there is an effect of Gaze Stability Exercise intervention on the balance of the elderly with a history of post-stroke.

Abstract

Abstract Background: One that plays a role in the development of children's language is the family, because the family is the first environment where the child gets the first experience that will affect his life in the future. Pragmatic development is obtained by interacting with the environment around the child and through stimuli provided by the surrounding people using various methods carried out in a family or community. One of them is inviting children to interact from an early age, is a pragmatic learning method that is practiced by all parents. One of the factors that influence the development of pragmatics is social interaction. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the relationship between family support and the pragmatic abilities of ASD children in Sragen. Methods: This type of quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The data collection technique uses total sampling with a sample of 30 respondents. The collected data will be analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Spearman's Rank statistical test. Results: Based on the analysis test results with Spearma's Rank, the value of ρ (sig.) is 0.001 or the value of ρ (sig.) ≤ 0.05, then Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted, thus indicating that there is a relationship between family support and the pragmatic ability of ASD children in Sragen city. The correlation coefficient value is 0.557, which means that the level of correlation or relationship between the two variables is in the range 0.4 to ≤ 0.6, which is the medium category. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and the pragmatic abilities of ASD children in Sragen City. Keywords: Family Support, Pragmatic Ability, ASD Children
