Abstract

Early childhood generally spends more time playing together with their peers, so that the lack of time for children to play activities in the family environment, this will have an impact on the interaction between children and the family environment. This study aims to describe the role of the family in children's play activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, during the pandemic the family environment plays a very important role in the child's development process, such as creating a comfortable atmosphere and making various playing media that attract children's interest. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher used three stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the family environment has a very important role in the process of child development, one of which is through play activities, especially in providing or facilitating all the needs of children when playing activities take place.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan barang bekas untuk menjadi alat permainan edukatif bagi anak usia dini tentu saja tidak lepas dari pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru dalam mengoptimalkan segala potensi yang dimilikinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam pembuatan alat permainan edukatif berbasis bahan bekas. Pendampingan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode service learning sebanyak dua kali pertemuan, yakni tim pendamping memberikan materi dan membimbing guru-guru di TK PGRI Transpram II Labuhan Ratu untuk praktik membuat alat permainan edukatif berbasis bahan bekas. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan ialah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam membuat alat permainan edukatif berbasis bahan bekas. selain itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini juga menghasilkan alat permainan edukatif berupa kincir abjad dan pohon literasi.

Abstract

Alat permainan edukatif (APE) untuk anak usia dini selalu dirancang dengan pemikiran yang mendalam sesuai dengan karakteristik anak dan disesuaikan dengan rentang anak usia anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam membuat alat permainan edukatif di PAUD Ceria Way Jepara. Pendampingan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode service learning yakni tim pendamping memberikan materi dan membimbing anak-anak di PAUD Ceria Way Jepara untuk praktik membuat alat permainan edukatif playdough. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh dosen STAI Darussalam Lampung memberikan hasil sebagai berikut : a) Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang tata cara belajar mudah menggunakan APE Playdogh, b) Meningkatnya keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the active behavior of the community, especially in the health sector, so that it can improve healthy living behavior in the elderly and become a productive community in their daily activities. The community service program that has been implemented in Totoharjo Village aims to improve public health, especially the elderly. This happy healthy exercise activity is carried out on a scheduled basis every Tuesday afternoon and Friday afternoon, attended by the local community. This afternoon exercise activity is one of the concrete efforts of the community service team in providing a positive contribution to the Totoharjo Village community in increasing awareness of the importance of health and a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Technological advances that are increasingly developing are a necessity that cannot be denied. The development of this technology can help children in finding various kinds of information. However, behind the advantages of gadgets, there are also negative effects caused by gadgets such as the lack of children in socializing and interacting with their peers. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence on children between before and after using gadgets on their social interactions. The method that the researcher uses is a quantitative method using data in the form of numbers, the data in this study were obtained through questionnaires and observations, then the researchers conducted an analysis, the first thing the researchers did was a prerequisite test in the form of a normality test and a homogeneity test. The next step taken by the researcher was to analyze the data using the t-test technique with the help of SPSS Windows Ver. 25. Based on the results obtained in this study, there is a significant influence on early childhood social interactions between before and after using gadgets. These results can be seen from the comparative analysis in the paired sample test table which shows that the calculated alpha = 0.000 and the alpha test = 0.05, so that the calculated alpha < test alpha.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool for delivering messages from the teacher as the giver of the message to the learner as the receiver. Learning media is very helpful for the learning success of children in school so that children can grasp the material well. As for this accompanying activity aims to give insight to students of kindergarten STAI Darussalam Lampung in making the right learning media while teaching. This method of serving the community using Service Learning, is implemented through multiple steps namely planning, implementation and evaluation. As for the results obtained that is students are able to create learning media in accordance with the learning theme. Through the creation of this learning medium, students can stimulate their imagination, creativity and cognitive powers. With this companionship, students (prospective teachers) of early childhood education can finally deliver teaching materials that are interesting, meaningful and of course fun for their learners.
