Abstract

Early childhood generally spends more time playing together with their peers, so that the lack of time for children to play activities in the family environment, this will have an impact on the interaction between children and the family environment. This study aims to describe the role of the family in children's play activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, during the pandemic the family environment plays a very important role in the child's development process, such as creating a comfortable atmosphere and making various playing media that attract children's interest. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher used three stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the family environment has a very important role in the process of child development, one of which is through play activities, especially in providing or facilitating all the needs of children when playing activities take place.

Abstract

Early childhood basically spends more time playing than studying. This will certainly have an impact on children's learning activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of parents in assisting early childhood learning activities. This type of research is field research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data, researchers used three stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that parents have a very important role in accompanying early childhood learning activities including: giving children habituation as in everyday life, namely getting children to respect other people. Furthermore, the supporting and inhibiting factors of parents when accompanying children include: applying the lessons that have been given by the teacher at school and parents being impatient when accompanying children in learning activities at home.

Abstract

Perkembangan  bahasa  anak  masih  belum  optimal  terlihat  dimana peserta didik mengalami  kesulitan  merangkai huruf.  Permainan tebak huruf dilakukan untuk melihat peningkatan percaya diri peserta didik di PAUD Ceria. Permainan tebak huruf di pilih karena ketika digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas memberikan peningkatan dalam mengenal huruf yang berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan percaya diri peserta didik. Permainan tebak huruf ini di dukung dengan reward asyik. Dimana ketika peserta didik dapat menebak huruf yang di berikan oleh guru, peserta didik akan diberikan reward asyik berupa yel-yel motivasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Ada beberapa tahap yang di lakukan dalam penerapan reward asyik ini yaitu:(1)Tahap perencanaan; (2)Tahap pelaksanaan; (3)Tahap pengamatan;(4)Tahap refleksi. Adapun hasil dari siklus I  sebesar 55% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 78%. Sehingga hasil penerapan reward asyik untuk meningkatkan percaya diri melalui permainan tebak huruf di PAUD Ceria memberikan peningkatan percaya diri pada peserta didik.
