Abstract

The data processing facilities available in banks today are the result of technological advances and the need to run operations systematically and properly by the flow of funds in and out of the bank. The use of IT in banks is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of data management of banking business activities to provide accurate, correct, timely results, and guarantee the confidentiality of information. However, not many SMU / SMK students understand banking information technology, especially Internet-based for managing bank accounts. This community service activity is carried out in the form of training for SMU / SMK students throughout South Tangerang so that students have good insight and understanding regarding banking transactions, especially Internet banking services. The activity was held on November 6-7, 2020, and attended by 52 students from 5 schools. The results of the 2-day activity were that on the first day, the SMU / SMK students had successfully understood the concept of the Internet and banking products. On the second day, the participants were skilled in managing simulated accounts using Internet banking services.Fasilitas pengolahan data yang tersedia di bank saat ini merupakan hasil kemajuan teknologi dan kebutuhan untuk menjalankan operasi secara sistematis dan baik sesuai dengan aliran dana masuk dan keluar bank. Fasilitas tersebut berfungsi untuk menangani, memilih, menghitung, menyusun, melaporkan, dan mengirimkan informasi.Penggunaan TI di bank dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisien pengelolaan data kegiatan usaha perbankan sehingga dapat memberikan hasil yang akurat, benar, tepat waktu, dan dapat menjamin kerahasiaan informasi. Namun demikian tidak banyak siswa SMU/SMK yang paham akan teknologi informasi perbankan khususnya berbasis internet untuk pengelolaan rekening di bank. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada siswa/i SMU/SMK se-Tangerang Selatan agar para siswa memiliki wawasan dan pemahaman yang baik terkait transaksi perbankan khususnya layanan internet banking. Kegiatan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 6-7 Nopember 2020 dan diikuti oleh 52 siswa yang berasal dari 5 sekolah. Hasil kegiatan selama 2 hari tersebut yaitu pada hari pertama para siswa SMU/SMK telah berhasil memahami konsep internet, dan produk-produk perbankan. Pada hari kedua, para peserta terampil mengelola rekening simulasi menggunakan layanan internet banking.

Abstract

Recent technological developments have brought significant changes in various fields, including education. Teachers are required to innovate in creating engaging and student-centered learning experiences. This study aims to describe the impact of Educaplay application training on improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 5 Katingan Tengah. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Educaplay training has a positive impact on teachers' competencies in developing diverse and interactive learning materials. Students also showed high levels of interest and enthusiasm during the learning process. This platform not only facilitates teachers in delivering materials but also encourages active student participation, increases learning motivation, and develops critical and creative thinking skills. Thus, the use of Educaplay has proven effective in supporting the improvement of digital-based learning quality.
