Abstract

Purpose- This empirical study facet at Pakistan for the period between 1960 and 2017 in the connection between public investment, public capital stock, private investment, private capital stock, and real GDP. Design/Methodology- Using theoretical and empirical literature assessment, to measure the impact of private investment, private capital stock, government investment, and government capital stock on Pakistan's real gross domestic product, we involved the ARDL Bound tests. Findings- A positive and significant connection was revealed between government investment, a private capital stock with real GDP. Private investment showed a substantial but negative impact in the short run, despite capital stocks indicating a positive and insignificant relationship with Pakistan's RGDP. The long-term consequences showed that the government's capital stocks, public investment, private capital stocks, and RGDP from Pakistan are linked positively and significantly. Private investment, however, has shown harmful and detrimental or insignificant relations with Pakistan's RGDP. Practical Implications- Our study may benefit the Pakistani economy, particularly while useful for academics and researchers to understand the basic concept of 'capital-growth' philosophy.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, digitization has become a significant advancement, often utilized by companies to streamline administrative processes and reduce reliance on paper-based systems. This research explores the effectiveness of using Google Drive for the monthly accumulation of Passenger Service Charge (PSC) files at PT. API. It aims to assess how digital technology can optimize administrative tasks, particularly the storage and management of PAS files. Additionally, the study outlines the procedural steps involved in the accumulation of these files, offering insights into improving service efficiency. The research is conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation at the airport, using qualitative methods to analyse the collected data. The process involves data reduction, summarization, and drawing conclusions to determine how effectively Google Drive enhances the company's file management system. The expected outcomes will provide PT. API with practical recommendations to optimize its PAS file accumulation process and improve overall service efficiency.

Abstract

This study uses monthly data sources from the State Bank of Pakistan to examine the impact of inflation, exports, foreign direct investment, foreign reserves, and imports on Pakistan's currency exchange rates from July 2018 to January 2023. The empirical results demonstrate that inflation and imports have a positive and significant effect on the exchange rate in the short term by using the ARDL bound test. Exchange rates are negatively impacted by exports, foreign direct investment, and foreign reserves. Inflation, imports, and foreign reserves have a positive and considerable influence on currency exchange rates over the long term.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in Asian economies between 1990 and 2019, with a specific focus on their relationship with net official development assistance (NODA) and external debt. Utilizing the IPAT model as a theoretical framework, we employ various econometric methodologies to estimate both long-term and short-term outcomes. These methodologies encompass panel unit-root tests, cointegration techniques, and the VECM method. The findings of the research provide additional substantiation for the presence of cointegration among all variables. The analysis of long-term data revealed a robust and statistically significant relationship between gross domestic product (GDP) and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Conversely, a strong and inverse connection was identified between foreign debt and net official development assistance (NODA). The results indicated a modest but favorable relationship between the size of the Asian population and the levels of CO2 emissions. The segment of recommendations encompasses comprehensive proposals and an extensive examination of various alternatives.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the handling of guest requests in the housekeeping department of RbyA Bali, a five-star resort in South Kuta, Bali. The primary objectives are to analyse how guest requests are managed operationally and to identify the challenges faced by the housekeeping staff in adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). A qualitative descriptive method was employed in this research, using observation, interviews with housekeeping coordinators and staff, and documentation review as data collection techniques. The analysis followed a thematic approach to identify patterns and categories in request handling processes and challenges. The results reveal that while the hotel has a structured SOP in place, there are recurring issues in communication flow, time efficiency, and coordination between departments that affect service consistency. Some guest requests—such as extra amenities, turndown services, or special room arrangements—are not always fulfilled promptly, often due to a mismatch in workforce allocation or lack of digital coordination tools. Despite these challenges, the staff demonstrates a high commitment to guest satisfaction. The study concludes that effective handling of guest requests is crucial to enhancing service quality and maintaining a luxury brand image. Improvements are needed in administrative systems, training, and inter-departmental communication. The findings are expected to support operational refinement and serve as a reference for hospitality students and professionals seeking to improve guest service experiences.
