Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication strategy of the Government and the community in education and disaster mitigation to prevent the impact of the Payangan Beach Sea Ritual, Jember Regency. Government communication carried out by the village head of Payangan village is very important considering that the Payangan village community recently had a case of missing residents due to being dragged by the sea waves after carrying out a ritual at Payangan Beach on Sunday, February 13 2022. Interviews were conducted with the village head, Basarnas team and the community around, to explore the existing data after that the results of the interviews were described and then the data were analyzed. Based on the research results obtained the following conclusions. Effective Government Communication carried out by Village Officials with the community includes: Disaster Risk Information, Outreach, Coordination of Disaster Management Teams, Installation of Warning Signs, Disaster Simulation, and Building One Information Emergency Communication Posts and Networks. The government's strategy includes outreach and education, supervision, compromise and partnership with environmental organizations, imposition of sanctions. Government Communication Media, including social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the like can be a very effective medium for conveying information related to dissemination of disasters when picking the sea. The government can use social media to post information, photos and videos that can attract public attention. Official Website, SMS Blast, Radio and Television. Barriers that occur in communicating between the government and the community, Limited access to information, Lack of public awareness: Limited resources, Lack of coordination between the government and related institutions and the community. Village Government efforts include: involving MUSPIKA to carry out evacuation during incidents and full supervision afterwards. The suggested solution is for the community to be more careful, alert and anticipate the presence of outsiders who enter without SOP and report to the relevant parties during related sea rituals and be more vigilant about deviating currents. Conducting more intensive outreach to the community through the Hamlet Head. Suggestions for the future are for the government and organizers to use both online and print media, banner boards, billboards, supporting facilities for outreach so that people are more careful in sea ritual activities as well as tourism and activities at sea. Be aware of activities during extreme weather seasons and carry out more supervision and assistance during certain seasons with potential disasters. Coordinate with other agencies and institutions related to disaster mitigation management at sea tourism sites. Improving the management of marine tourism management in Payangan and others. Involve all stake holders in the management of both Government, Private and Community.

Abstract

This research purposes to analize the Communication Strategy through Brand Image at Batik House as a Batik Educational Tourism of Sidomulyo”. Sidomulyo tourist village is an educational tourist attraction which has several interesting educational tourist destinations, including Sidomulyo batik tourism. Behind these advantages, all Sidomulyo tourist villages have quite significant problems ranging from internal and external problems. In this research, the researcher aims to find out what brand image strategy is carried out by the management of Sidomulyo tourist village in promoting it as an educational tourism village in Jember. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection technique was carried out in several stages, namely interviews, observation, surveys and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. It is hoped that the results of this research will be that the management of Sidomulyo tourist village has implemented an appropriate brand image strategy. As a result, this will create a brand image for Sidomulyo tourist village as an educational tourism village in Jember, East Java. Moreover, there are several appropriate criteria for the four stages of brand image strategy that have been proposed by the Cutlip and Center theory, namely, defining the problem (situation analysis), planning and programming (strategy), taking action, communicating and evaluating the program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi peran sosial lansia melalui implementasi Program Sekolah Lansia Tangguh (Selantang) di Bina Keluarga Lansia (BKL) Tanjung, Kelurahan Badean, Kabupaten Bondowoso. Program Selantang merupakan inovasi yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia melalui pendekatan komunitas dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam terhadap pelaksana program, instansi terkait, serta peserta lansia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil mendorong lansia menjadi agen aktif di lingkungan sosialnya. Lansia mengalami perubahan signifikan dalam aspek fisik, mental, emosional, dan sosial. Mereka juga menunjukkan kemandirian dalam mengelola aktivitas sehari-hari tanpa ketergantungan mutlak pada negara atau keluarga. Program ini turut membentuk identitas baru bagi lansia sebagai individu produktif yang berdaya guna dan berkontribusi bagi masyarakat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Selantang mampu mentransformasi peran lansia dari kelompok pasif menjadi agen perubahan sosial yang tangguh, sehat, dan bermartabat.

Abstract

This article's main focus research result is on the unpredictable public service in Covid-19 pandemic as a factor in the quick digitization of public services. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, in the Population and Civil Registry Office of Situbondo Regency adopted an online population management service information system (SILAO). Data for this study were gathered through observation and interviews using a qualitative methodology. Using qualitative descriptive analysis is applied to data collection and analysis. Face-to-face interaction has been displaced with electronic delivery of public services. The results of the study show that This article's main focus is on the unpredictable COVID-19 pandemic as a factor in the quick digitization of public services. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Population and Civil Registry Office of Situbondo Regency adopted an online population management service information system (SILAO). Face-to-face interaction has been displaced with electronic delivery of public services. This research found that the public service technology system that had been built during the pandemic did not always guarantee that the public service had been implemented successfully. Public service technology system, requires a stable internet signal. The power of the internet, which has been unstable, has affected the poor quality of public services. Fokus utama artikel  ini adalah pada ketidakpastian  pelayanan publik di masa pandemi Covid-19 sebagai faktor cepatnya digitalisasi pelayanan publik. Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19, di Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Situbondo mengadopsi sistem informasi pelayanan pengelolaan kependudukan secara daring (SILAO). Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif. Menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif diterapkan pada pengumpulan dan analisis data. Interaksi tatap muka telah digantikan dengan penyampaian layanan publik secara elektronik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fokus utama artikel ini adalah pada pandemi COVID-19 yang tidak dapat diprediksi sebagai faktor dalam digitalisasi layanan publik yang cepat. Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19, Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Situbondo mengadopsi sistem informasi pelayanan pengelolaan kependudukan secara online (SILAO). Interaksi tatap muka telah digantikan dengan penyampaian layanan publik secara elektronik. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sistem teknologi pelayanan publik yang telah dibangun selama pandemi tidak selalu menjamin bahwa pelayanan publik telah berhasil dilaksanakan. Sistem teknologi pelayanan publik, membutuhkan sinyal internet yang stabil. Kekuatan internet, yang selama ini tidak stabil, telah mempengaruhi buruknya kualitas pelayanan publik.

Abstract

Museum Blambangan merupakan destinasi wisata edukasi yang memperkenalkan sejarah dan budaya Banyuwangi, khususnya kepada Generasi Z. Sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata edukasi, Museum Blambangan berupaya mengemas pembelajaran sejarah secara menarik untuk meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi pengunjung Generasi Z. Namun, banyak Generasi Z menganggap museum sebagai tempat yang membosankan dan lebih berfokus pada dokumentasi visual daripada memahami sejarah dan budaya selama kunjungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan komunikasi Guide Museum Blambangan Banyuwangi dalam Menerapkan Strategi Komunikasi Persuasif untuk mengoptimalkan wisata edukasi terutama bagi Generasi Z. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teori Cutlip dan Center sebagai landasan teoritis dalam memahami efektifitas komunikasi persuasif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Guide Museum Blambangan dan pengunjung Generasi Z, observasi partisipatif, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara induktif. Hasilnya, Hambatan dalam penerapannya, yakni Bahasa dan keterbatasan efektivitas penyampaian pesan. Secara keseluruhan, strategi ini berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi, minat belajar, dan kepuasan pengunjung Generasi Z Banyuwangi dalam wisata edukasi di Museum Blambangan.
