Abstract

Abstract

BSI is one of the banks that still uses a manual KPR financing data archiving system. The problem that occurs at BSI, especially the Bekasi branch, is that requests for financing copies take 14 working days or even longer. Therefore, the information system for archiving KPR financing documents at BSI, which was initially still manual, has become a computerized information system. So, an e-archive for KPR financing was built at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia using the prototype method. Where the existence of the E-archive system makes it easier for the financing department to manage KPR financing archives for Bank Syariah Indonesia customers and also makes it easier to search and store data, especially data related to financing, which can be done easily.

Abstract

Intestinal protozoan infection is still a major health problem in children, because children are most often in contact with soil as a source of infection and are a significant threat, but are often overlooked to public health until severe or chronic complications because many of them are usually asymptomatic or only manifest mild symptoms. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of Cryptosporidium sp, Blastocystis sp infections in school children in Pasir Sebelah, Padang City. This type of research is descriptive categorical, the sample is primary data with a sample size of 66 children using consecutive sampling techniques. Data were collected through direct interviews with caregivers and anthropometric measurements conducted by trained enumerators using standardized tools. This study was analyzed univariately and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. This study obtained the results of intestinal protozoan infections in children found Cryptosporidium sp 42.4% added and Blastocyctis sp 31.8%. Intestinal protozoan infections were higher in the 7-10 year age group 51.5% and higher in girls 54.5%. The conclusion of this study was that the incidence of intestinal protozoan infections was quite high in children at Elementary School 23 Padang City. Conclusions: these children need special attention, and immediate treatment for infected children and counseling on education and prevention of diseases caused by intestinal protozoa.

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by neurodegeneration and decreased neurogenesis due to neuroinflammation and free radical accumulation. Nestin is an intermediate filament protein that serves as a primary marker for neural progenitor cells in the neurogenesis process. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells (WJ-MSCs) administration on Nestin gene expression in an Alzheimer's rat model. This experimental study with a posttest-only control group design utilized male white rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by Aluminum chloride (AlCl3) at a dose of 300 mg/kg BW orally for 5 days to model Alzheimer's pathology. A dose of 1×106 WJ-MSCs was injected intraperitoneally in the treatment group. One month post-therapy, Nestin gene expression from brain tissue was analyzed using quantitative Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) and statistically tested with One-Way ANOVA. The results showed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05), with a significant increase in Nestin gene expression in the WJ-MSCs treated group compared to the positive control group. It is concluded that the administration of WJ-MSCs effectively increases Nestin gene expression, indicating an improvement in the regeneration and neurogenesis processes in the brain tissue of Alzheimer's rat models.
