Abstract

Sekolah sebagai tempat berlangsungnya kegiatan belajar mengajar diharapkan mampu melakukan perbaikan dan perubahan, agar pandangan mengenai matematika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit dan pelajaran yang tidak menyenangkan dapat dirubah. Selaku guru pendidik, guru mempunyai tanggung jawab dalam penyelesaian masalah tersebut. Guru sebagai arsitek pengembang kompetensi siswa harus memiliki strategi untuk mengoptimalkan kompetensi siswa dengan memperhitungkan faktor internal dan eksternal siswa tersebut. Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis di Kelas V SDN Petukangan Selatan 03 Jakarta, dapat diketahui bahwa guru masih menggunakan pendekatan konvensional dalam memberikan materi pelajaran matematika. Dampak nilai Ulangan Tengah Semester I Kelas V Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 untuk pelajaran matematika dengan standar ketuntasan belajar 5,2 adalah 43% atau tujuh belas siswa mendapat nilai antara 35 – 69, sebanyak 38% atau lima belas siswa berhasil meraih nilai antara 70 – 85 dan hanya 18% atau tujuh orang siswa yang berhasil meraih nilai antara 85 – 100 dari jumlah murid seluruhnya tiga puluh sembilan siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berguna untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dalam proses belajar mengajar matematika, terutama dalam hal bagaimana meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, kemudian dapat dilihat “Apakah pembelajaran melalui model kontekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran matematika? Apabila siswa tertarik untuk belajar matematika diharapkan hasil belajar dapat meningkat, sehingga dapat tercipta sumber daya manusia yang handal dapat dipergunakan dalam kehidupan sehari – hari dan dapat menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

Voltage drop is the amount of voltage lost in a conductor. The voltage drop on electric power lines is generally directly proportional to the length of the line and the load and inversely proportional to the cross-sectional area of the conductor. The magnitude of the voltage drop is expressed either in percent or in Volts. The analysis determines the voltage drop in the power distribution from the generator to the three-phase induction motor at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II Sawit Hulu uses 30 meters of copper conductor cable with a cross-sectional area of 400 mm2. This type of copper wire material has an absolute sending voltage value of 389 volts and a total receiving voltage value of 385. So there is a voltage drop based on the length of the conducting cable of 4 Volts, and if it is a percentage, the voltage drop value is 1.03%.

Abstract

This electrolysis cell is used to convert sodium hydroxide into sodium chloride. This study aims to measure the voltage and DC passing through the cathode and anode plates during the electrolysis process. The power source used in this process provides a DC voltage of 70 volts, a DC of 8 A, and a resistance of 8.75 Ω. The sodium hydroxide solution can be transformed into sodium chloride at PT with this current and voltage. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk, Porsea, is in the chemical plant unit, and this electrolysis cell operates optimally. It produces a significant amount of sodium chloride, used as a compound in making paper pulp. The analysis results indicate that the types of anode and cathode plates effectively conduct electricity in the electrolysis cell, aided by busbars as conductors.

Abstract

This research discusses the replacement of a broken motor shaft due to overload as a Corrective Maintenance action on the separator unit at PT. Hutahaean, Tapioca Factory. The objective of this research is to understand the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for replacing a broken motor shaft and to apply preventive steps to avoid further damage to the electric motor in the separator unit. The electric motor plays a crucial role in driving the separator machine, especially in the separation process of tapioca starch. Overloading led to the breakage of the motor shaft, disrupting the production flow. This study demonstrates that effective Corrective Maintenance can restore the machine's optimal function and reduce production downtime. The findings also highlight the importance of routine maintenance of machine components to prevent future severe damages.

Abstract

The development of this e-module was motivated by students' difficulties in understanding particle dynamics material. This research aims to produce a Basic Physics I e-module on particle dynamics and to determine student perceptions of the Basic Physics I e-module on particle dynamics that was developed. This type of research is (research and development) with the ADDIE development model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this research were 2016 PGMIPA-U Physics Education students at Jambi University. The research instruments used were media expert validation questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires and student perception questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire trial showed that there were 16 valid statements and one invalid statement. The reliability value obtained was 0.898 in the very high category. Furthermore, the results of research on student perceptions obtained data covering 3 aspects, namely aspects in the good category. Based on the results obtained in the research, it can be concluded that the development of an e-module for Basic Physics I material on particle dynamics based on kvisoft flipbook maker is very suitable for use as a teaching material in the Basic Physics I subject on particle dynamics at Jambi University

Abstract

Pesantren, or Islamic boarding schools, hold strategic potential in advancing the economic empowerment of Muslim communities in Indonesia, particularly in rural and underserved regions. This study investigates how pesantren contribute to the economy of the ummah through institutional business practices, student entrepreneurship incubation, and community integration. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected from three pesantren in Java through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal three major themes: (1) pesantren serve as localized economic actors by managing small-scale agribusinesses and cooperatives, although most lack formal business structures; (2) some pesantren have developed business incubator programs to train santri in entrepreneurship, though these remain informal and unsupported by structured curricula; and (3) strategies to enhance pesantren’s economic role include capacity building, stakeholder collaboration, digital transformation, and alignment with national policies. These findings are analyzed in light of Islamic economic principles, maqashid shariah, prophetic traditions, DSN MUI regulations, and scholarly perspectives on Islamic entrepreneurship. The study concludes that while pesantren have great potential as agents of economic empowerment, sustainable impact requires institutional reform, structured educational integration, and systemic policy support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebocoran pada sambungan pipa stainless steel SS 304 dengan hasil pengelasan gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) dengan tungsten berwarna merah dengan menggunakan kawat pengisi Kode ER308LSI dengan menggunakan metode Non Destructive Test (Penetrant Test) dan juga untuk mengetahui pengaruh kuat arus terhadap kekuatan tarik (Tensile Test) pada sambungan. Pada penelitian penetrant test didapat dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan dari tiga hasil pengujian yang baik dan tidak mengalami cacat permukaan hasil pengelasan yaitu pada kuat arus 100 Ampere dengan flow gas argon  20 km/jam. Pada sambungan pipa hasil pengelasan dengan metode pengelasan GTAW, pengujian kekuatan tarik yang didapat nilai rata-rata kekuatan maksimum kuat arus 85 ampere dengan  flow gas argon 15 km/jam yaitu 104.56 kg/mm2, arus 100 ampere dengan  flow gas argon 20 km/jam yaitu 95.33 kg/mm2 dan arus 105 ampere dengan flow gas argon 25 km/jam  yaitu sebesar 97.68 kg/mm2. Tujuan dari penelitian kekuatan tarik ini yaitu untuk mengetahui batas maksimum dari kekuatan tarik sambungan pipa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur secara kuantitatif penurunan daya output dan peningkatan efisiensi mekanis pada mesin diesel Caterpillar C32 setelah pergantian nozzle injector. Mesin tersebut menggerakkan generator pompa kebakaran berkapasitas seribu kVA di PT Pertamina Gas ONSA, Medan. Data daya output dikumpulkan menggunakan dynamometer Schenck pada beban penuh sebelum dan sesudah pergantian injector genuine, masing-masing diukur tiga kali untuk memperoleh nilai rata-rata. Karakteristik pola semprot dan laju kebocoran injector lama diuji sesuai prosedur ISO 4008-1:1980 dan ISO 2974:2018 melalui spray-pattern test dan leakage test. Injector lama yang telah beroperasi selama sepuluh ribu delapan ratus jam menunjukkan penyempitan orifice akibat akumulasi deposit karbon sehingga daya output berkurang sebesar 129,81 HP (96,8 kW). Setelah penggantian injector, daya output meningkat dari 1765,95 HP menjadi 1895,76 HP dan efisiensi mekanis mencapai 93,15 persen. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji t-berpasangan menunjukkan perbedaan daya yang signifikan pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Rekomendasi meliputi pengujian pola semprot dan flow-rate secara berkala setiap enam hingga delapan ribu jam operasi serta penggunaan solar ultra-low-sulfur dan aditif cetane improver.
