Abstract

Students are a group of people who try to develop their potential through the learning process available in certain learning stages, stages and categories. There are two categories of learning, namely Formal and Non-Formal Learning. LKP Farafi is a non-formal learning institution that is active in the field of computer courses, where every year there are students who take courses. To increase the students' enthusiasm for learning, LKP Farafi always gives prizes to students who have completed the course by determining the best students in each class group. The selection of the best students is carried out to determine prospective students who will receive prizes for their achievements. Currently the process for determining the best course students at LKP Farafi is still manual so it takes a long time to determine the best students. This research aims to select students who are more objective because they can be weighted against predetermined criteria using the Technique Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. Using predetermined selection criteria, namely Character Assessment, Completion of Theory Assignments, Completion of Practical Assignments and Final Examination. The final results obtained are information on the best students who achieved the highest scores, starting from the best student 1 to the best student 3, which consists of 15 course participants in 1 class group.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automated electrical control system integrated with a digital prayer schedule to enhance energy efficiency and time management in mosques. Using IoT devices, electronic equipment such as air conditioners, lights, and loudspeakers can be automatically controlled according to prayer times, reducing energy waste and minimizing fire risks due to negligence in operating electrical devices. The study employs a prototyping method, where a system prototype is tested to evaluate its performance and effectiveness. A machine-to-machine bridge communication model is implemented to integrate the digital prayer schedule with mosque electrical devices. The research results are expected to provide an environmentally friendly technological solution while improving mosque operational efficiency. However, technical challenges, such as integrating the system with older electrical infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, and user readiness to operate new technology, must be addressed. Thus, this study contributes not only to energy efficiency but also to improving mosque management quality through digital technology.

Abstract

Learning Hinduism at SD Negeri 2 Pujo Asri faces the constraints of limited learning resources and a lack of teaching staff. This research aims to develop interactive learning applications to overcome these problems. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method is implemented through six stages: concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing, and distribution. This application presents Hindu religious material in interactive multimedia format, including informative text, illustrations, animation, audio, as well as practice questions and quizzes with automatic feedback. The research results show that the use of this application increases students' learning motivation and understanding. Students become more enthusiastic and active in exploring the material, while teachers feel helped in conveying complex concepts. In conclusion, this application can be an innovative solution in improving the quality of Hinduism learning in elementary schools, especially in areas with limited resources, and has the potential to be further developed for other subjects.   Keywords: interactive learning, Hinduism, MDLC, multimedia, educational technology.

Abstract

This study examines the development of a sentiment classification system for Indonesian-language YouTube comments addressing employment issues through the implementation of Logistic Regression algorithm. The research dataset comprises 2,755 comments extracted from a video themed "Job Seeker Stories," with 1,020 comments manually labeled into three sentiment categories: positive, neutral, and negative. The research methodology includes text preprocessing stages, feature transformation using TF-IDF, data splitting with stratified sampling, class imbalance handling through SMOTE, and hyperparameter optimization using GridSearchCV. Model evaluation yielded 44% accuracy with varying performance distribution across classes. The negative class demonstrated optimal performance with an F1-score of 0.55, while neutral and positive classes achieved scores of 0.34 and 0.29, respectively. Class distribution imbalance and implicit characteristics of positive comments became primary obstacles in the classification process. Research findings indicate that the combination of Logistic Regression, TF-IDF, and SMOTE has potential as a baseline method for sentiment analysis of Indonesian social media comments. Nevertheless, deep learning-based model development is necessary to improve accuracy and linguistic nuance interpretation capabilities. The analysis also identified negative sentiment dominance in public responses, reflecting societal concerns regarding the national employment situation.

Abstract

Metro City educational landscape encompasses over 50,000 students across multiple institutional levels, yet systematic enrollment pattern analysis remains underdeveloped. Gender disparities and uneven institutional distribution challenge educational planners seeking evidence-based policy solutions. Our research examined student enrollment data from Metro City Education Department for the 2025/2026 academic year, focusing on gender balance and institutional representation across KB, TK, SD, SMP, SMA, SMK, and SLB schools. Using descriptive quantitative methodology, we processed secondary data through spreadsheet applications before implementing Google Looker Studio visualization. The platform transformed numerical datasets into interactive dashboards featuring bar charts, pie diagrams, and filterable tables accessible to non-technical stakeholders. Analysis revealed unexpected findings challenging conventional gender imbalance assumptions. Rather than anticipated male dominance, data showed near-equal gender distribution (55% male, 45% female) across 64 institutions serving 14,298 students. However, enrollment concentration became apparent when SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro accounted for 50% of total student population, potentially skewing statistical interpretation. Educational staff demographics differed significantly, with female educators outnumbering males 2:1, suggesting professional preference rather than access barriers. Google Looker Studio demonstrated practical effectiveness for real-time data processing, enabling rapid information retrieval and policy formulation support. Research limitations include single-year scope without longitudinal analysis or socio-economic variables. Future investigations should incorporate historical perspectives and predictive modeling. The visualization platform successfully addressed research objectives, providing Metro City education leadership with actionable insights for policy development and resource allocation strategies.

Abstract

Traveling is a necessity for everyone, traveling is the best way to relieve stress that is being experienced, whether in the form of stress from work pressure, stress due to many college assignments, and other stress. Traveling is more memorable when done with loved ones such as with family, with partners, and also with closest friends. However, determining a tourist spot according to everyone's wishes is not easy, especially since the choice of tourist spots is not small. Metro City is one of the cities in Lampung province that has a relatively large number of stunning tourist attractions. From the problem above, a decision support system can be developed to choose the right recreation area using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The criteria needed to make the following agreement are budget, interval, age, facilities and time. As a result of this study, the best alternative recommendations for tourist areas in Metro City were made.

Abstract

An instructor is a person whose job is to teach something and at the same time provide training and guidance, teacher, trainer, and caregiver. Among other assets such as capital, buildings, office equipment, and others, only instructors can breathe, think and behave. This uniqueness, if it has good quality and is involved in business activities, will make a big contribution to the progress of the company or institution. To obtain quality trainers who meet the expected qualifications, the company carries out a selection process in recruiting new instructors. The selection process for instructor acceptance at LKP Bina Tunas Education is carried out to determine which instructor candidates will be accepted. This research aims to select new instructor candidates more objectively because weighting can be carried out against predetermined criteria using the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method. Using predetermined selection criteria, namely minimum criteria for high school graduates, experience, age, status, competence, liking challenges, and orientation. Selection of the best approach (other methods) in an effort to realize the Selection of Acceptance of Candidates for LKP Instructur Bina Tunas Education.
