Abstract

The Performance of Batik Enterprise Development Policies in SidoarjoBatik is one of the Indonesia characteristics and cultural heritages.  It is the Government’s responsibility to develop batik in accordance with the local characteristics of each region. At the same time, it is the opportunity for the batik producers around the archipelago to utilize the moment. The purpose of these activities are: the procurement of printing equipment and a table cap in accordance with the desired design pattern; skills training using the tool, with the direct learning methods applied; training and helping for business management and simple bookkeeping; assisting the marketing process through training techniques and marketing strategy; making the media marketing. The applied methods are: identifying the problem and needed equipment, such as: a molding tool/ stamp, tasting table for batik, stove to the tasting table, printer wok batik; skills training in using the tools, forming the simple bookkeeping, making media marketing. The taken approach is a direct method of learning and working with participatory methods. Results and implications: the procurement of 4 printing tools following the pattern of SMEs, provision of 2 sets consisting of: Tables stove, printer wok, gas stove, regulator, gas hose, 12 Kg LPG Tube, a marketing tool. They have been handed over to the SMEs. It had been done the technical training activities and business management training and simple bookkeeping.  The existence of tools increase the number of batik production more than ever.Keyword: conservation, creativity, productivity, motif, batik

Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman, permintaan masyarakat terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik juga semakin meningkat. Sesuai dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Nomor 30 Tahun 2014 tentang Inovasi Pelayanan Publik maka berbagai instansi pemerintah baik pada tingkat pusat atau daerah diharapkan untuk gencar menciptakan inovasi dalam pelayanan. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Surabaya melalui Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik adalah dengan mengusung sebuah inovasi pada pelayanan administrasi kependudukan. Inovasi tersebut adalah “Pelayanan Sayang Warga” yang dilaksanakan oleh setiap instansi Kelurahan di seluruh Kota Surabaya. Inovasi “Pelayanan Sayang Warga” terbentuk karena berlatar belakang bahwa pemerintah Kota Surabaya ingin mendekatkan pelayanan publik kepada warga sebagai bentuk peningkatan mutu pelayanan. Namun, pada pelaksanaan inovasi tersebut tidak banyak mendapatkan antusiasme warga Ngagel Rejo. Selanjutnya penulis melakukan analisis secara mendalam untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman (SWOT) dalam implementasi program “Pelayanan Sayang Warga” terhadap kualitas layanan administrasi kependudukan serta menemukan kesenjangan antara kebutuhan masyarakat dengan inovasi yang telah diterapkan. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis strategi dalam konteks untuk menemukan strategi inovasi terbaru yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dan harapan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Kelurahan Ngagel Rejo dan diharapkan pula dapat meminimalisir kelemahan dalam suatu instansi serta mampu menekan ancaman yang timbul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik wawancara dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data primer berupa pernyataan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman menganai inovasi “Pelayanan Sayang Warga”. Selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan dari matriks IFAS EFAS dan diagram SWOT, maka diperoleh posisi strategi pada kuadran 1 yakni strategi agresif yang dapat diterapkan pada pengembangan inovasi Pelayanan Sayang Warga di Kelurahan Ngagel Rejo. Strategi agresif yang dimaksud adalah sebuah strategi yang sangat menguntungkan, yang berarti bahwa Kelurahan Ngagel Rejo memiliki peluang dan kekuatan yang dapat dimaksimalkan sebaik mungkin. Adapun strategi yang dapat diterapkan sebagai berikut; (1) Mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan untuk menarik antusiasme warga melalui informasi yang disebarluaskan; (2) Menetapkan rancangan pengembangan inovasi dengan memanfaatkan ketersediaan fasilitas yang sudah memadai; (3) Meningkatkan skala penyebaran informasi agar seluruh warga khususnya warga lansia dapat mengetahui adanya pelayanan yang lebih dekat di balai RW; (4) Menarik antusiasme warga dengan menginformasikan bahwa pelayanan balai RW dapat dilakukan cepat tanpa antrian yang panjang.

Abstract

The Teaching campus is one of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) programs that involves students to shape learning, especially for elementary school (SD) and junior high school (SMP) level children as part of strengthening literacy and numeracy learning so that students can become teacher partners in carrying out creativity and innovation in the world of education. Increasing students' understanding of numeracy is one of the efforts of our group work program of campus teaching students batch 6 which focuses on increasing the numeracy knowledge of SD Negeri Sutorejo I 240 students. In the implementation of numeracy we apply to students learning activities of numeracy students of addition, division, multiplication, and subtraction. Flat shapes, as well as drill problems at the upper levels to train students to make it easier to understand basic math. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with the techniques used in collecting data, namely using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. This study aims to determine the role and duties of teaching campus students in helping to improve numeracy at SD Negeri Sutorejo I 240, Surabaya. Based on this research, it is concluded that teaching campus students have an important role in improving literacy, numeracy in schools.

Abstract

Tingginya angka persentase merokok tersebut, mendorong adanya penetapan kebijakan yang mengatur tetang kawasan bebas rokok di Kota Surabaya sebagai upaya pengendalian oleh pemkot Surabaya. Olehsebab itu, Pemerintah Kotamadya Surabaya mengeluarkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Surabaya Nomor 2 Tahun2019 Tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok dan Peraturan Walikota Surabaya Nomor 110 Tahun 2021 Tentang Pedoman Pelaksanaan Peraturan Daerah Kota Surabaya Nomor 2 Tahun 2019 Tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok. Terhitung 4 tahun semenjak penetapan Peraturan Daerah Kota Surabaya Nomor 2 Tahun 2019Tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok, dalam pelaksanaannya kebijakan tersebut belum dinyatakan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan teori model implementasi Donald S. Van Meter dan Carl E. Van Horn yang menyatakan bahwa suatu implementasi dapat berjalan secara optimal jika memenuhi 6 Variabel atau Indikator. Berdasarkan anaslisis dari penelitian tentang Implementasi Kebijakan Penetepan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok Pada Angkutan Umum (Lyn) Kota Surabaya bahwa implementasi tersebut masih berjalan belum optimal dari segi sosialisasi, pelaksanaan dan penindakan pelanggaran pada angkutan umum, dan peran serta kesadaran masyarakat yang masih kurang.

Abstract

There is a deficiency in facilities and infrastructure, notably the absence of library space for reading activities. The books at SD Negeri Waruberon are not very engaging, and the reading material is overly challenging. This discourages students from dedicating time to reading books. They tend to engage in less productive activities with their friends, as they find these activities more interesting and enjoyable. In addition to the absence of supporting infrastructure, there are also environmental and familial factors. Many parents choose to provide their children with cellphones or gadgets rather than purchasing engaging books that cater to their needs. This significantly diminishes the interest in reading at SD Negeri Waruberon. For this reason, the service conducted by college students placed at SD Negeri Waruberon is intended to boost the reading interest of SD Negeri Waruberon students through the Reading Corner program. Having a reading corner in each of their classrooms means they have a comfortable space to read books and utilize their free time for meaningful activities that expand their knowledge. Additionally, various methods are employed, including: 1) Planning / Making a design, 2) Demonstrating Design Outcomes, 3) Gathering and Analyzing Information, 4) Implementing the Manufacturing Process. A program to establish a reading corner at SD Negeri Waruberon in Sidoarjo has delivered positive results. The students at SD Negeri Waruberon have shown an increased interest in reading books during their free time. They have developed a deeper understanding of the importance of reading, which has enhanced their insight and critical thinking abilities. Moreover, they have become more confident in expressing their opinions, both individually and with their peers. They find it easier to comprehend conveyed information, and their intellectual capabilities have improved. Additionally, their level of literacy activities has increased, enabling them to create stories, rhymes, and poems, which are periodically displayed on the school wall.

Abstract

The provision of public services to the community is one of the most important tasks of government. In order to fulfill the needs and interests of the community, public services are provided by the government, private parties acting on behalf of the government, or private parties directly to the community, whether financed or unfinanced. Strategic roles and functions in the field of implementing integrated licensing services in Surabaya City are carried out by the Surabaya City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP). This office was formed based on Surabaya Mayor Regulation Number 084 of 2021 concerning the Position, Organizational Structure, Job Description, and Functions and Work Procedures of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office of Surabaya City. The program carried out by these students aims to increase productivity and efficiency in public services. With this, the expected results are good in terms of productivity, effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

The village is the smallest unit in the government structure in Indonesia which plays an important role in managing local resources and development at the village level. Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages states that village governments are responsible for managing government programs aimed at the interests of the community. Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) have become an important part of the government's efforts to develop the rural economy and reduce the economic gap between urban and rural areas. This research explores the role of BUMDes directors in managing BUMDes using Alif's theory in Nurdin (2014) with four indicators: regulator, dynamist, facilitator and catalyst. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which aims to produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behavior observed from the phenomena that occur.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe electronic parking policies that can consider the technology readiness factor of the people of Surabaya in order to realize a smart city. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research, with data collection techniques carried out through observation and interviews. This research uses theory using Jan Merse's theory. The research results explain that the electronic parking policy which can take into account technology readiness factors is overall quite effective, although there are still obstacles that can be overcome with continuous monitoring and evaluation. The implementation of this policy supports the development of smart cities and is expected to improve the quality of life of Surabaya City residents.

Abstract

This research examines the development of the Telaga Pelemwatu Tourism Village through BUMDes in Pelemwatu Village, Gresik Regency. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this research analyzes tourism development based on six indicators: Attraction, Accessibility, Facilities, Lodging, Activities and Supporting Services. The research results show that the development of this tourist village has been effective in attracting tourists with its unique appeal, but still faces challenges in terms of accessibility and infrastructure. Even though it has succeeded in improving the welfare of local communities and preserving culture and the environment, improvements are still needed in several aspects such as promotion, maintenance of facilities and improvement of supporting services. This research concludes that the development strategy for the Telaga Pelemwatu Tourism Village can be used as a model for the development of other tourist villages in Indonesia, noting that there is a need for continuous improvement to meet visitor needs and ensure long-term sustainability.

Abstract

The growth in population and private vehicles in Surabaya has caused a significant increase in traffic congestion. To overcome this problem, the Surabaya City government implemented the Suroboyo Bus public transportation policy as an alternative solution. This research aims to evaluate the impact of this policy in reducing traffic jams in the city of Surabaya. The research methods used include secondary data analysis from related agencies, Suroboyo Bus user satisfaction surveys, as well as field observations at several main congestion points. The research results show that the implementation of Suroboyo Bus contributed to reducing the volume of private vehicles by 12% on main routes and increasing public interest in public transportation. However, the effectiveness of this policy still faces challenges, especially in terms of integration of transportation modes and service area coverage. In conclusion, the Suroboyo Bus policy has great potential to reduce congestion if supported by infrastructure development and increasing public awareness of the use of public transportation.
