Abstract

Background of this research problem is the low activity of student learning in Thematic learning in class IV SDN Sade Barabali Lombok Tengah that caused by the low quality of learning that used by teacher, where the lack of methods, models and strategies that used by the teacher during the process of thematic learning led to boredom on students and become passive during the learning process. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with qualitative descriptive method that using a qualitative approach reinforced by quantitative approach, by talking the background in SDN Sade Barabali Lombok Tengah, The subject of this research is the fourth grade students in SDN Sade Barabali Lombok Tengah, while the object of this research is the Application of The Teams Games Tournament Learning Models to Increase The Learning Activity in Cita-Citaku theme. This research was conducted in two cycles and through 4 stages including: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation and (4) Reflection. The data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done by using qualitative analysis that consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion of verification. The result of this research indicates that the application of models Teams Games Tournament can increase students learning activity in learning process. Activity can be measured from the evaluation cycle I, and cycle II of 63% and 77,5% cycle II. While the improvement of student activity can be measured from each cycle, student activity in cycle I is 3,1 with the active approaching category and student activity in cycle 4,1 with the approaching very active category. Thus the result of this research in Dasar Negeri School Sade Barabali Lombok Tengah has been achieved with good.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Pilot Type Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model on Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students at SDN Sumbek Central Lombok in 2023. The background of this research is the lack of interest in students in Social Studies learning due to the material being too broad and the inculcation of values which is not given by the teacher so that learning outcomes are less than optimal. The design in this research was a quasi-experimental non-equivalent group design. The population of this study were all students of class III at SDN Sumbek, totaling 47 students and the technique used in sampling was a saturated sample technique where class III A was the control class and class III B was the experimental class, totaling 47 students. The data collection method in this research is to use the test method. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class pre-test was 60.69 and the control class pre-test was 62.50 while the experimental class post-test average value was 84.00 and the class post-test average value control of 75.66. Data on learning outcomes were analyzed using the t-test (t-test) polled variance with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the t-test statistical analysis, the results obtained are tcount > ttable, which is 3.31 > 2.00 at a significance level of 5%. This shows that Ho is declared rejected and Ha is declared accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the TPS (Think, Pair, Share) learning model on the Civics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Sumbek State Elementary School, Central Lombok. This research uses an experimental design in the form of True Experimental Design Type Pre test-Post test Control Group Design with one type of treatment using an experimental class and a control class. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique (entire sample). The data collection technique uses the Civics learning outcomes test method. The data analysis technique uses the t-test to test the effect of implementing the TPS learning model on Civics learning outcomes. The results of this research show that the calculated average post test score for the experimental class was 83.29, higher than the average for the control class, which was 77.37. The results of data analysis show that the calculated t value is 3.200 > t table 2.013. This means that there is a significant difference between the post-test results of the experimental class which used the TPS learning model and the control class which did not use the learning model. This can be interpreted as meaning that learning that uses the TPS learning model has higher learning outcomes compared to learning that does not use the learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the application of the TPS learning model on the Civics learning outcomes of class V students at Sumbek State Elementary School, Central Lombok.

Abstract

Education has a goal, namely to give birth to a generation that is intelligent, high quality, characterized and cultured. One of the goals of this education is to give birth to a generation of character, meaning that it is very important for students to instill good character. Teachers must familiarize students with instilling good values in students so that they will not only understand the material but instill good values that are important to apply. By using the VCT Approach with the help of Pop Up Books as a learning medium to increase students' curiosity in learning social studies, where social studies studies social sciences, there are values contained in each material. The aim of this research is to examine the application of the VCT approach assisted by Pop Up Books in class IV social studies learning at SDN Sumbek. The method used uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the data obtained, the application of the VCT approach assisted by Pop Up Books has been implemented well which can increase students' awareness in instilling the values that will be applied. It is hoped that this research will be useful to related parties who can benefit from it, such as school principals, teachers and students, as well as future researchers.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the digital era has had a significant impact on education, including in the learning of Social Studies (IPS). Digital literacy is an essential 21st-century skill that students must possess to access, evaluate, and utilize information critically and responsibly. This research employed a qualitative, descriptive approach. Subjects were selected purposively. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles Huberman and Saldana. Data validity was validated using source and technique triangulation. The results of this study are as follows: Strategies to increase the number and variety of quality learning resources include providing digital reading materials such as e-books and encyclopedias, educational websites like Ruang Guru and Quipper, learning applications like Quizizz and Wordwall, and school and classroom bulletin boards as literacy resources.
