Abstract

The science and technology model is learning to teach science and technology in the context of experience and everyday life, focusing on societal issues, whether local, regional, national, or global, with science and technology components. Meanwhile, the scientific approach is an approach to learning science process skills. It uses a scientific approach where students are directed and guided in observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and building networks to disseminate the learning results obtained. Learning outcomes are a path to mastering knowledge or skills in a subject, usually indicated by test scores or numbers given by the teacher. Learning outcomes are obtained from learning to master knowledge, usually developed and shown by numbers. This research aims to determine whether implementing a science and technology learning model based on a scientific approach affects the science learning outcomes of grade IV students at SDN Pemongkong. Researchers are implementing technology in science learning at SDN 1 Pemongkong. Still, many obstacles exist, such as internet signals and technological stupors; only some have a laptop or cellphone. Therefore, the idea that emerged in this research was the use of technology that can be accessed by all students, namely the community science technology model based on a scientific approach, which is expected to improve student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is experimentation. This type of experimental research uses Quasi-Experimental Design or quasi-experiments. The experimental plan used in this research is a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hypothesis testing is carried out using uji t (independent samples test). Comparison of the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class for the two classes experienced an increase compared to before learning; namely, the average value of the control class at the pretest 54.82 and increased to 73.10 after learning, while the average value of the experimental class is at posttest 58.07 and rose to 74.42 on posttest. The average learning outcomes are similar between the control class and the class experiment. However, the average learning outcomes of the experimental class are still higher than those of the control class. The class that was taught used the community science and technology learning model. Namely, two students got a score of 90 in the control class, and in the conventional class, only one got a 90. By hypothesis testing, face H0 accepted that the scientific approach-based community science and technology learning model influences the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 1 Pemongkong. In this case, it can be interpreted that the community science and technology learning model positively impacts student learning outcomes.

Abstract

PKM ini dilaksanakan melibatkan mahasiswa di Institut Pendidikan Nusantara Global yang bertujuan untuk sarjana yang mampu memetakan dan memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat dalam pembangunan pada umumnya dan pembangunan desa khususnya. Dalam pelaksanakan PKM ini dibantu juga oleh beberapa mahasiswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua jenis tumbuhan obat sedangkan objek adalah tumbuhan obat yang ditemukan pada saat melakukan penelitian. Metode survey yang dilakukan di dalam penelitian ini. Metode survey digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi untuk pembudidayaan jenis tumbuhan obat di Desa Jurit Kecamatan Pringgasela. sosialisasi tentang cara pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah sebagai tempat menanam tanaman obat dan juga penyampaian tentang manfaat tanaman obat sebagai sarana pertolongan pertama dan alternatif obat tanpa efek samping. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat kebun tentang pemanfaatan lahan rumah yang gersang dan sempit atau memanfaatkan siswa sawah yang tidak ditanami. Jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang mudah didapatkan msalnya Jehe, Lengkuas, Temulawak, Kemangi, Cocor Bebek, Kencur, Kumis Kucing dan papaya.

Abstract

Objective Study This is Analysis Difficulty In Implementation Primary School Science and Middle School Integrated Science Practicum , Laboratory is A means supporter implementation activity incident natural in a way systematic , so IPA is not only control knowledge about incident . Type research used​ is study qualitative with method descriptive . Sample on study This is Fourth grade elementary school students and Class VII middle school students at Satap 2 Aikmel Elementary School . Research data This in the form of obstacle data implementation Practicum in elementary school and Integrated science practicum in junior high school obtained from questionnaire closed And analyzed semi - open questionnaire with descriptive qualitative as well as information obtained​ from interview . Results on indicator means infrastructure shows an average of 2 which means Still classified low . Results on indicator Knowledge  shows an average ≤ 2 which means Already classified Low in matter knowledge . Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) berbasis inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN 3 Jerowaru. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan STEAM berbasis inkuiri dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pretest dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kelompok eksperimen maupun kontrol mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar. Namun, meskipun rata-rata gain kelompok eksperimen (22,31) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (18,65). peningkatan rata-rata yang lebih tinggi di kelas eksperimen tetap menunjukkan indikasi positif bahwa pendekatan STEAM berbasis inkuiri dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dierima yang menyatakan adanya pengaruh pendekatan STEAM berbasis inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This PKM activity was carried out at Elementary School Institutions in Ganti Village, East Praya District, namely at Ganti Elementary School as a partner. The design mechanism for implementing PKM activities is carried out by adopting action research steps which consist of 4 (four) stages, namely: planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Activities or activities from each stage, namely (1) Planning, at this stage initial coordination is carried out between the team proposing the partnership program and the partner school team to identify existing problems, analyze partner needs, and analyze school potential, then arrange training programs, (2) Implementation of Actions, Actions in this activity are in the form of program implementation. The activities carried out in program implementation include; the formation of the Implementation Team, and the implementation of the article writing workshop, (3) Observation and Evaluation, Observations were made of the process of making articles by partner teachers. The instrument used is in the form of field notes, the final stage is (4) Reflection. Reflection is carried out on the activities that have been carried out.

Abstract

The participants in this community service activity were PGSD students at the Nusantara Global Institute of Education, especially students who were in the process of compiling scientific papers. This PKM activity uses lecture, practice and question and answer methods. Based on the results of this training activity it was found that during the Mendeley training activities the participants were very enthusiastic as can be seen from the responses of the participants who actively asked when they experienced difficulties. From the results of discussions conducted with students, it was clear that making a list of references was indeed an obstacle for them. Therefore, the PKM implementation team wanted to motivate students that training in using the Mendeley application could help make it easier for them to enter reference lists automatically.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a concept that has long been known since NCLB (2002-2015), then reinforced again in the Independent Curriculum. The aim of this mentoring activity is to increase teachers' knowledge and understanding in developing differentiated e-modules containing scientific literacy. Differentiated learning is closely related to the global education agenda, namely emphasizing scientific literacy which is associated with socioscientific issues. The participants in this activity were 12 teachers at SDN 1 Sengkerang. Mentoring activities use one-group pre- and post-test workshop design with material exposure sessions and practice sessions using the peer instruction method. This mentoring activity was concluded to be effective because it was able to increase participants' gains in the very satisfactory category. Apart from that, teachers also experience understanding, adaptability and flexibility in developing differentiated e-modules containing scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties experienced by science teachers in learning science in junior high schools and elementary schools, to explain the obstacles experienced by teachers in learning science, and to explain the factors that cause difficulties in learning science in junior high schools and elementary schools. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The sample in this study were all science educators at MI NW Kumbung and MTs NW Kumbung. Sampling was done by total sampling technique. The research data is in the form of data on constraints in the implementation of Integrated Science learning obtained from closed questionnaires and semi-open questionnaires from educator responses which are analyzed using descriptive qualitative and information obtained from interviews. The results show that the preparation of lesson plans for MI NW Kumbung and MTs NW Kumbung has a percentage of 70%. Presentation of Materials at MI NW Kumbung and Mts NW Kumbung obtained a percentage of 60% & 65% which is still low. IPA graduate teachers that teach science subjects at MI is a factor that cause teachers' difficulties in teaching science extrinsically are the lack of laboratory facilities and the lack of training activities and KKG and the lack of support from schools.

Abstract

Learning theory will make it easier for educators to carry out the form of learning that will be carried out. This article will review the theory of cognitive learning and will provide a complete understanding and explanation so that it can be applied in learning activities. This research is a literature study research, where in this research the writer tries to collect data related to the theory put forward by Ausubel and Gagne and then analyzes how the theory of the two figures is applied in learning in elementary schools. The results of this study are the first cognitive theory developed by Ausubel in his theory which states that cognitive processes are advanced organizers (initial arrangements), progressive differentiation, reconciliation reconciliation (integrative reconciliation), consolidation. Meanwhile, Gagne said that cognitive processes are through receptors, sensory registers, short-term memory, long-term memory, and response generators. In the learning process in elementary schools, cognitive theory is more directed and adapted to the age of students.
