Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana realitas kehidupan pedagang pakaian konvensional di Pasar Panorama Bengkulu serta dampak maraknya belanja online pada usaha pedagang konvensional dan strategi bertahan pedagang konvensional di Pasar Panorama Kota Bengkulu di tengah maraknya belanja online. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh maraknya belanja online pada usaha pedagang konvensional yaitu dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak postif yaitu menambah semangat para pedagang dan semakin gencar dalam meningkatkan jualannya. sedangkan dampak negatif yaitu penurunan jumlah pembeli, pendapatan dan kalah persaingan dengan pedagang online. 2). Strategi yang dilakukan pedagang dalam mempertahankan usahanya yaitu dianataranya melakukan pembaruan usaha mengikuti tren model terbaru, meningkatkan pelayanan pada pembeli. Selain ketiga strategi tersebut para pedagang juga mengandalkan modal sosial yang mereka miliki seperti kepercayaan, normal sosial, dan strategi jaringan.

Abstract

Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai ruang publik memiliki peranan penting dalam mewadahi aktivitas masyarakat, namun Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso sebagai ruang publik memiliki beberapa permasalahan antara lain terdapat beberapa sisi Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso yang kurang dimanfaatkan oleh pengunjung, area pedagang kaki lima (PKL) yang domain dan kurang tertata, tempat parkir yang kurang memadai karena hanya berupa parkir on street di tepi jalan, fasilitas yang tersedia kurang memadai, serta pencahayaan pada malam hari yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kualitas pemanfaatan Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso sebagai ruang publik kota menggunakan Good Public Space Index (GPSI). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan sekunder melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur. Data tersebut kemudian diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan Analisis deskriptif, behavior mapping serta analisis Good Public Space Index (GPSI). Hasil penelitian ini berupa pemetaan perilaku pengguna Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso yang di mana bahwa masyarakat yang berkunjung di Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso lebih ramai pada hari libur (weekend) dibandingkan dengan hari kerja (weekday) dan aktivitas dominan pengguna berupa aktivitas kontak fisik yaitu aktivitas jual beli di pedagang kaki lima (PKL). Berdasarkan hasil analisis penilaian kualitas Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso sebagai ruang publik kota dengan menggunakan analisis Good Public Space Index (GPSI), diketahui nilai kualitas Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso secara keseluruhan memiliki nilai indeks 0,78 yang berarti secara keseluruhan kualitas Lapangan Sintuwu Maroso tergolong kedalam kategori yang cukup baik sehingga masih perlu dilakukan peningkatan.

Abstract

Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, is an area with a rich culture that reflects a mix of ethnicities, traditions and local beliefs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This research aims to identify the socio-cultural elements of the Bojonegoro community as well as the impact of modernization on the local social structure and culture. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through literature study and participant observation. The research results show that the people of Bojonegoro still uphold the values ​​of mutual cooperation, traditional arts and traditional rituals which reflect a strong cultural identity. However, modernization through the oil and gas energy sector and information technology has triggered changes in consumption patterns, lifestyles and gender roles. Adaptation to these changes is seen through cultural innovation that remains rooted in traditional values. It is hoped that this study will become a reference in preserving local culture and formulating policies based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of applying Snake and Ladders learning media on improving students' understanding of geography material in the 12th grade at Hang Tuah 2 High School Sidoarjo. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design. The sample consists of 21 students selected purposively. Data were obtained through pretest and posttest assessments to measure students' understanding before and after the application of the learning media. Data analysis was conducted using the paired t-test, with results showing a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The average pretest score was 60.52, while the average posttest score increased to 78.24. The t-test results indicated a t-value of 5.42 with a p-value < 0.01, indicating that the application of Snake and Ladders learning media has a positive and significant effect on improving students' understanding. Therefore, this study recommends the use of innovative learning media like Snake and Ladders to enhance geography learning outcomes in schools Keywords: Learning media, Snake and Ladders, Geography, Paired t-test, Active learning
