Abstract

Stock is one of the instruments that can be used to invest. The factors suspected of influencing the fluctuations in the stock price index are the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the JCI, the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19 on the Jatim Bank stock price index. To analyze the effect of the JCI, the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19 on the Jatim Bank stock price index, time series regression analysis was used. The results of the analysis show that the JCI, the rupiah exchange rate, and the Covid-19 have a significant effect on the Jatim Bank stock price index. The p-value of the three variables is less than 0.05. The value of the determination coefficient is 65.56%, so that the diversity of the dependent variable that can be explained by the model is 65.56%.

Abstract

Untuk memperkuat daya saing Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) diperlukan suatu strategi guna memperluas marketing dari penjualan produk. Salah satu jalur distribusi dari penjualan produk saat ini  adalah e-commerce. Di era modern ini, penjualan produk bisa dijual melalui platform digital atau atau yang biasa dikenal dengan sebutan e-commerce. Kecamatan Bubutan merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Kota Surabaya yang terdiri dari banyak para pelaku usaha yang usianya terbilang sudah tidak muda lagi. Oleh karena itu pelatihan e-commerce dan strateginya mutlak diperlukan bagi pengembangan dan kelangsungan usaha. Para pelaku usaha di Kecamatan Bubutan telah dilatih dengan materi strategi e-commerce untuk menjalankan usahanya. Setelah dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi, para pelaku UMKM memiliki bekal yang cukup baik dalam memperluas jalur distribusi pemasarannya melalui media digital sehingga bisa menjual secara global. Namun, untuk bisa mendapatkan manfaat yang lebih berkesinambungan, pelatihan sejenis dan dengan materi yang lebih mendalam serta durasi yang lebih lama perlu dilakukan.

Abstract

This research analyzes the causal influence between the JSX Composite Index and the FTSE Straits Times Index. The data used in this study is a monthly period time series data. The period for the JCI to be observed is January 2015 to June 2022. The VAR method was used to analyze the causal influence of the two indices. The analysis results show that the appropriate VAR model is VAR ( 1,4,5), RMSE value of 212.15 for the JSX Composite Index and 123.76 for the FTSE Straits Times Index. Based on the analysis results using the VAR model, information is obtained that the two indices influence each other. The value of the JSX Composite Index formed in the current period is controlled by the value of the JSX Composite Index and the FTSE Straits Times Index in the previous period. Likewise, for the FTSE Straits Times Index, the results show that the value of the FTSE Straits Times Index formed in the current period is influenced by the value of the JSX Composite Index and the FTSE Straits Times Index in the previous period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to model electronic money in Indonesia using a hybrid model and compare its accuracy with the non-hybrid model. The hybrid model used is Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA)-Artificial Neural Network. The data used is the amount of electronic money circulation for the monthly period January 2009 to October 2021. The ARIMA model formed from research data is ARIMA (1,1,0) with additive outliers and level shift outliers. For Artificial Neural Network modeling is limited by using one hidden layer with three neurons. In the modeling process, 20 repetitions were carried out. The smallest repetition value was obtained, namely the 13th repetition with an error value of 2.569. In this study, it was found that the ARIMA- Artificial Neural Network hybrid model had a smaller Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) in sample and out sample than the non-hybrid model. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by combining the ARIMA model with Artificial Neural Network, it can increase the accuracy of the data fit results and forecast results.

Abstract

Teknologi indsutri sekarang ini sudah merambah di semua divisi perusahaan. Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) juga dituntut untuk bisa mengaplikasikan dalam operasional usahanya. Salah satu peran teknologi terlihat dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan rutin. Namun, banyak UMKM belum mampu untuk menyajikan laporan keuangan yang berbasis teknologi. Melalui pelatihan ini, tim memberikan pendampingan bagi wanita pelaku usaha dari beberapa UMKM untuk menyajikan laporan keuangan rutin menggunakan MS Excel. Format sederhana telah disiapkan oleh tim dosen. Wanita pelaku usaha hanya diwajibkan untuk mengisi arus kas usaha sehari-hari ke dalam format yang telah disediakan. Respon positif ditunjukkan oleh peserta selama workshop sehari yang dilakukan secara offline dengan jumlah pertanyaan yang diajukan dan sesuai dengan usahanya masing-masing. Sementara kondisi berbeda ditunjukkan pada saat proses pendampingan online selama satu minggu. Dengan data bulan Juni 2022, banyak partisipan yang kesulitan mengalokasikan waktu untuk memasukkan data yang dibutuhkan pada format yang disediakan. Ke depannya, komitmen dari organisasi sangat diperlukan untuk bisa membuat partisipan berkomitmen dan mendedikasikan waktunya secara penuh untuk mengikuti proses pendampingan.

Abstract

Para pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia semakin meningkat jumlahnya. Perkembangan UMKM di Indonesia terus meningkat dari segi kualitasnya, hal ini dikarenakan dukungan kuat dari pemerintah dalam pengembangan yang dilakukan kepada para pelaku UMKM, yang mana hal tersebut sangat penting dalam mengantisipasi kondisi perekonomian ke depan serta menjaga dan memperkuat struktur perekonomian nasional. Terdapat 25 pelaku UMKM RW 08 Kelurahan Kedurus, Kecamatan Karang Pilang, Kota Surabaya. Pada saat ini, para pelaku UMKM tersebut menjalankan bisnisnya masih ada yang belum terjamah digitalisasi. Terdapat beberapa pelaku UMKM yang belum menggunakan platform digital untuk menjual produknya. Kondisi lainnya juga menunjukan bahwa pecatatan keuangan pada pelaku UMKM belum tercatat dengan rutin dan belum rapi. Kondisi tersebut menunjukan belum optimalnya penggunaan teknologi oleh para pelaku UMKM. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan yaitu mengoptimalkan penggunaan digitalisasi marketing dan pencatatan keuangan kepada pelaku UMKM. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemetaan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evalusi, serta pembuatan laporan. Hasil akhir dalam kegiatan ini adalah mitra mampu menggunakan aplikasi Shopee dan Akuntansiku untuk menjalankan bisnisnya.

Abstract

Halal dan pemasaran tidak bisa dipisahkan dan merupakan hal yang menunjang satu dengan yang lain. Namun dalam prakteknya, pengusaha wanita Fatayat di Surabaya masih banyak yang belum memahami dan mengerti secara detail bagaimana prosedur untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Selain itu belum optimalnya pemasaran penjualan produk via online, terkait hal itu, maka perlu adanya kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dari tim pengabdian Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia (STIESIA) Surabaya yang dilaksanakan bersama dengan Pengurus Wilayah (PW) Fatayat Jawa Timur menargetkan pengusaha wanita UMKM dari Surabaya dan Sidoarjo yang belum pernah mengajukan sertifikat halal maupun akun pemasaran digital. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan pendampingan kepada wirausaha wanita untuk mengajukan sertifikasi halal dan memaksimalkan potensi pemasaran digital melalui akun media sosial berupa instagram bisnis dan akun penjual di marketplace shopee agar meningkatkan profitabilitas usaha di masa mendatang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap identifikasi masalah (mapping), tahap koordinasi persiapan yang dilakukan secara online dengan masing-masing UMKM melalui whatsapp, tahap pendampingan di Surabaya dan Sidoarjo serta tahap monitoring dan evaluasi di akun masing-masing pelaku usaha di website halal Kemenag. Luaran dari kegiatan ini berupa UMKM.

Abstract

The Pawon Urip Program in Lumajang Regency is community empowerment in terms of food security and community nutrition with the aim of empowering the socio-economic sector of the Pejarakan Village community. Physical observations, social observations, and interviews, as well as exploratory descriptive analysis, were used to answer the research objectives. The economy of the people of Pejarakan Village is classified as lower middle class; this, of course, cannot be separated from the influence of less than optimal levels of education and land use; the social phenomenon of apathy is also reflected when people are too busy. Pawon Urip planting actually provides benefits to the community; although insignificant, all the processes that go through until the results can be enjoyed have an impact on the knowledge, psychological, and economic aspects of the community. The managerial implication in this research is that with assistance, MSME owners will better understand the basics of accounting and taxation, which will help them prepare their books correctly. Good bookkeeping will also help increase financial transparency and may impact investor or lender confidence. With accurate financial data, MSME management can make better business decisions. Whether in terms of investment, expenses, or other business strategies.

Abstract

The research aim is to compare the level of efficiency between government-owned conventional commercial banks and privately owned conventional commercial banks. The samples are government-owned and privately owned conventional commercial banks registered in the period 2018 to 2022. The input variables used are deposits, labor costs and fixed assets; while output variables include total credit and operating income. Efficiency scores were analyzed using the data envelopment analysis method, and for the difference test the Mann-Whitney method was used. The results show that there is no significant difference in efficiency scores between government-owned conventional commercial banks and privately owned conventional commercial banks.

Abstract

Provincial HDI data in 2022 shows striking disparities between regions. This figure shows the uneven economic development in Indonesia. An analysis of factors that can influence HDI is needed. This research aims to analyze the influence of regional finan-cial performance and capital expenditure on HDI with economic growth as an inter-vening variable. The sample used in this research was 34 provinces that met the research criteria. The variables used in this research are regional financial performance, capital expenditure, economic growth, and HDI. Financial performance and capital expenditure are exogenous variables, economic growth is an intervening variable, and HDI is an endogenous variable. The method used to analyze the relationship between variables is SEM PLS. The test results show that financial performance, capital expenditure and economic growth directly have a positive significant effect on HDI. The results of this test have the implication that to improve the quality of life of the population, attention is needed to improve financial performance, capital expenditure and economic growth in each region. The other test results showed that economic growth was able to mediate the effect of capital expenditure on HDI but was not able to mediate the effect of financial performance on HDI.
