<![CDATA[In supporting optimal fulfillment of breast milk production for babies, it should be as expected, one of the determining factors in breastfeeding is breast care since pregnancy and after delivery. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the knowledge of postpartum mothers about breast care and the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers at UPT Puskesmas Lumban Julu, Toba Regency in 2023. The type of research used was analytic observational with a cross sectional design. Sampling used Total Sampling so that a sample of all postpartum mothers at the Lumban Julu Health Center UPT totaled 32 samples. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. The results of the study of 32 postpartum mothers showed that 15 respondents (46.9%) had good knowledge and experienced smooth breastfeeding, 3 respondents (9.4%) had good knowledge and experienced non-fluent breastfeeding. While respondents with less knowledge and experienced smooth breastfeeding were 5 people (15.6%), and respondents with less knowledge and experienced non-fluent breastfeeding were 14 people (43.8%). Chi-square test results with p-value = 0.006 <? (? = 0.05). The conclusion of this study states that there is a significant relationship between knowledge of breast care and the smoothness of breastfeeding at UPT Puskesmas Lumban Julu, Toba Regency in 2023. Health workers at UPT Puskesmas Lumban Julu are expected to further improve their health promotion regarding the importance of breast care for postpartum mothers in improving the smoothness of breastfeeding so as to improve the quality of health services and quality at the research site.]]>

<![CDATA[Background; Massage or massage on the abdomen (effleurage) is a form of skin stimulation used during labor in reducing pain effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of Massage Effleurage on Reducing Labor Pain in Maternity. Method; This research is an analytical research with experimental study design with one group pre and postest design. The population in this study were all laboring mothers at Sarimotandang Health Center as many as 35 people. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data processing starts from editing, coding, entry, cleaning and tabulating data. Data analysis using paired T test. Results; The results showed that there was an effect of labor pain in laboring mothers before and after being given effleurage massage (p = 0.000). Conclusion; Thus it is recommended to the mother of the baby to do counseling to health workers related to the problem of labor pain.]]>

<![CDATA[Background; Adolescence is a period of development in various aspects, including physical and psychosocial. Social problems caused by teenagers are not new but have existed for decades, one of which is the problem of deviant and worrying sexual behavior. These concerns can be addressed by the quality of the adolescent's parent-family relationship which instills correct concepts about behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of parental care in guiding children with adolescent sexual behavior in Karya Village. Method; . This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were 38 people who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection techniques used primary data in the form of questionnaires distributed to respondents. Data processing used univariate and bivariate analysis. Results; The results of this study indicate that parental care has positive results. After doing bivariate analysis with chi square test obtained p-value of 0.012. Conclusion; The advice given is that it is recommended for parents to maintain good relationships with children so that children feel safe and comfortable at home, so that their roles and functions are felt by children.]]>

<![CDATA[Context: Epidural massage, also known as massage, is a type of skin stimulation employed to effectively alleviate pain during childbirth. The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not massage effleurage can alleviate labor pain in the mother. This is an analytical study employing an experimental design with a pre- and post-test for a single group. The study sample comprised 35 individuals who were in labor and were mothers at the Sarimotandang Health Center. Through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents, data was gathered. Data cleansing, tabulating, editing, coding, and entry are the initial steps in data processing. Analyzing data with the paired T test. Findings: An effect of effleurage massage on labor pain in laboring mothers was observed both prior to and following the intervention (p = 0.000). In conclusion, it is advisable for the expectant mother to seek guidance from healthcare professionals regarding the issue of labor pain.]]>
