Abstract

One of the main targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program in 2030 is related to the development of Indonesian children, where Indonesian children are human resources whose welfare and intelligence must be improved. To support intelligence, concentration is needed in every learning process. The aim is to analyze the relationship between the habit of consuming nutrients in the breakfast menu with learning concentration. The method in this study is Cross-Sectional, with the population being students of the class of 2020 at a private university located in the city of Banyuwangi. Using the purposive sampling technique, the number of respondents was 115 students. Data retrieval of students' food consumption to see the level of nutritional adequacy of breakfast was obtained through data records of breakfast on the day of the test. Learning concentration was measured using the Digit Symbol Substitution Test (DSST) instrument. In addition, data on breakfast habits was obtained by filling out a questionnaire. The statistical test used in this study was the Pearson Chi-Square which was analyzed by the formula, using ρ 0,05. The study showed that most of the subjects had a regular breakfast habit (70%) and before 09.00 am (74.7%). The learning concentration of most of the subjects (64.5%) was classified as good. From the results of the Pearson Chi-Square statistical analysis, it was obtained. There is a significant relationship between the level of energy adequacy (r count = 6,594, r table = 5,991), and protein (r count = 7,874, r table = 5,991), with learning concentration. There is no significant relationship between the level of nutritional adequacy of fat and carbohydrates in the breakfast menu with learning concentration (r count < 5.991).  Keywords: Breakfast Nutrients, Learning concentration, Student

Abstract

Permasalahan dilingkungan pendidikan yang masif terjadi salah satunya adalah perilaku delinkuen siswa yang cenderung melanggar aturan yang diberlakukan. Rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam mendidik dan penilaian yang buruk terhadap iklim sekolah diduga menjadi pemicu munculnya perilaku delinkuen siswa sehingga perlu dilakukan pengujian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap hubungan persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru dan iklim sekolah dengan intensitas munculnya perilaku delinkuen. Partisipan penelitian ialah siswa SMK dengan jurusan tehnik berjumlah 286 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur ketiga variabel diantaranya Perception of Competency in Teaching Quality Scale, Perception School Climate Scale dan School Delinquency Scale. Metode analisis statistik menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan pada variabel persepsi terhadap kompetensi guru dan iklim sekolah. Kedua variabel bebas terbukti secara simultan memiliki pengaruh terhadap munculnya intensitas perilaku delinkuen. Nilai koefisien negatif menunjukkan arah yang berbalik, dapat diartikan semakin positif persepsi terhadap kompetensi guru dan iklim sekolah maka semakin rendah intensitas perilaku delinkuen terjadi demikian pula sebaliknya. Dapat disimpulkan membentuk persepsi siswa yang positif terhadap kompetensi guru dan menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif dapat digunakan sebagai strategi upaya mereduksi perilaku delinkuen.

Abstract

In our daily lives, nutrition and mental health are two inseparable aspects. Both are the most important parts in maintaining our physical and mental health. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and understanding and the role of adolescents in maintaining mental health by linking it to balanced nutritional consumption. It is hoped that by knowing the importance of maintaining mental health by fulfilling balanced nutrition, it can reduce the incidence of mental health crises in adolescents. Nutrition is one of the important factors that determines the level of health and in schools. The method used is an interactive lecture and Q&A to students of SMP N 3 Purwoharjo Satu Atap regarding the prevention of mental health crises through the fulfillment of balanced nutrition in adolescents using observation techniques and pre-test data collection with the aim of determining whether or not this educational activity is necessary. Pre-test and post-test analysis are used to determine whether or not there is a change in understanding about prevention and how to prevent mental health crises through the fulfillment of balanced nutrition. The results of educational activities have an effect on increasing the understanding of students of SMP N 3 Purwoharjo Satu Atap about how to prevent mental health crises through the fulfillment of balanced nutrition. Abstract

Pada pasien kanker memiliki masalah terkait kualitas hidup karena disebabkan oleh Efek samping pengobatan, kepuasan pengobatan, prospek masa depan, pekerjaan, dukungan keluarga, kesuburan, komunikasi, citra tubuh, dll. Hal ini menyebabkan masalah psikososial pada pasien kanser seperti kecemasan, kegelisahan, stres, dan bahkan depresi. Memberdayakan Yayasan Sahabat Osing Peduli (YSOP) dalam meningkatkan diet quality dan quality of life kepada cancer warrior melalui pendekatan CCM. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan meliputi 4 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi.  Evaluasi pelatihan relaksasi dan terapi musik diukur dengan  menggunakan kuesioner The Zung Self Anxiety Scal (ZSAS) dan evaluasi edukasi gizi seimbang dengan kuesioner gizi seimbang sejumlah 10 pertanyaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diikuti sejumlah 15 orang pengurus YSOP.  dengan hasil global pretest dengan nilai kecemasan sedang 87% menjadi 60% kecamasan ringan setelah pelatihan. Untuk pemahaman gizi seimbang sebelum pelaksanaan edukasi, demo dan pelatihan 80% pemahaman kurang, dan setelahnya memiliki pengetahuan baik sebesar 87%. Penerapan pelaksanaan kombinasi meditasi relaksasi autogenik dan terapi musik intrumen religi merupakan terapi alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup cancer warrior, selain itu pengolahan pangan yang tersedia disekitar juga dapat digunakan untuk peningkatan kualitas diet untuk kemajuan pengobatan kanker.

Abstract

The nutritional status of toddlers is the most important factor that must be considered because toddlerhood is the golden period of development. At the age of toddlers a child's growth is very rapid so that it requires nutritional intake according to its needs, in addition to nutritional intake during toddler growth it also requires good parenting from both parents and family, so that toddler growth and development will be more optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal parenting and the nutritional status of toddlers at the Kertosari Health Center in 2021.This study used a correlation design, with a total sampling technique. The number of samples is 48 respondents used in the study. Data was collected using a mother's parenting questionnaire sheet & KMS Observation Sheet.This study showed that most of the respondents had good parenting styles for 27 out of 48 respondents (56.2%) and normal nutritional status for 19 out of 48 respondents (60.4%). Statistical analysis using the Spearman rank test obtained an alpha value of 0.01% meaning 0.01 > 0.084. So there is no significant relationship between Mother's Parenting Style and the Nutritional Status of Toddlers in 2021.Most of the respondents in this study had good parenting styles with normal nutritional status supported by productive age of the mother so that mothers can seek information through social media and have sufficient income to support family needs and nutritional intake for toddlers. In addition, mothers with not busy work status will be able to pay more attention to the growth and development of their toddlers than mothers who don't have much time for their toddlers.

Abstract

Mengembangkan kecerdasan pada anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan upaya yang harus dilakukan guna menyiapkan kesuksesan anak menghadapi masa depan. Adapun upaya yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya membantu anak dalam mengenali kecenderungan gaya belajar yang dimilikinya. Tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yakni memberikan psikoedukasi tentang gaya belajar yang di miliki oleh setiap individu dan menemukan kecenderungan gaya belajar pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi: edukasi dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan pengukuran gaya belajar kepada siswa peserta kegiatan yang diperoleh dari alat ukur Visual Auditory Kinesthetic Scale (VAK). Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman anak terhadap gaya belajar yang dimiliki. Berikutnya hasil pengukuran gaya belajar pada siswa diperoleh gaya belajar visual sejumlah 41 siswa, tipe gaya belajar kinestetik sejumlah 28 siswa dan gaya belajar auditori 17 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran disimpulkan gaya belajar visual lebih dominan di miliki siswa hal tersebut mengindikasikan siswa lebih cenderung menyukai dengan cara mengobservasi langsung terhadap objek belajar. Lebih dari pada itu hasil kegiatan ini dapat memberikan rujukan dalam menentukan kelas binaan sesuai dengan ketertarikan siswa sesuai dengan bidang yang diminati.
