Abstract

Abstract

Productive-aged women in Indonesia face physical health challenges, such as low physical activity levels and increasing obesity prevalence. This community service program aims to enhance the physical wellness of productive-aged women in the Marjuk Church of Christ Movement, Bandung, through Pilates education and demonstration. Methods included educational sessions to increase awareness, practical training, demonstrations, and continuous mentoring. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' knowledge about the benefits of Pilates, frequency of physical activity, and physical fitness, including core strength, flexibility, and endurance. Additionally, participants reported mental benefits such as stress reduction and increased motivation for regular exercise. In conclusion, this program effectively improved participants’ awareness, skills, and physical and mental health while strengthening social solidarity within the church community. Similar programs can be expanded to other communities to extend its benefits

Abstract

Feature selection in medical records is necessary because the data usually contains many irrelevant features and noise. Electronic Health Record, abbreviated as EHR, makes it possible to analyze large amounts of medical data. A Genetic Algorithm is widely used for feature selection because it has the ability or potential for global optimization of the selected features. Genetic Algorithm-based methods include many iterations (generations) in the crossover process, and mutation can produce new individuals because the Genetic Algorithm adopts a fitness value to represent how ''good'' the resulting individual is. The problem with heuristic algorithms is those simple genetic algorithms are not for processing high-dimensional data. Genetic algorithms in solution search techniques always get local optimum solutions which can cause failure to obtain optimal solutions during random searches. From these limitations, developing and improving genetic algorithms for feature selection on clinical data is necessary. First, sort the features based on the feature evaluation criteria to exclude irrelevant features through the fitness process in the evaluation with the accuracy value of the Support Vector Machine calculation. This way reduces the number of features and results in optimal features. Then to get the optimal solution, it is necessary to optimize the subset features that have been selected using a machine learning algorithm that determines the best parameters using a genetic algorithm.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase awareness and participation of the Malabar Village community in implementing an active and healthy lifestyle through the creation and publication of Canva and YouTube-based educational content on wellness physiotherapy. The program was carried out by a team of physiotherapy lecturers and students over a period of two months, using a participatory learning and digital content empowerment approach. The activity methods included training in educational content creation, storyboard development, filming educational physiotherapy videos, and publishing them through the community's YouTube channel. A total of 25 participants from the general public and health cadres actively participated in this activity. The results showed an average increase in knowledge about physical activity and fitness of 30%, as well as an increase in digital content creation skills of 75%. In addition, the community showed high enthusiasm in managing social media for health education. This program proves that the combination of wellness physiotherapy and digital literacy can be an effective strategy for building an active lifestyle culture at the community level.
