Abstract

The problem in this study was that educators need to be more competent in digital literacy and be maximal in implementing 21st century education. This study aims to analyze the urgency of digital literacy in the 21st century education era for the competence of educators at SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative research types. The data collection technique was carried out by purposive sampling through observation, interviews, and documentation.. The data sources were educators, school principals, and education staff. The results showed that educators' understanding of digital literacy and 21st century education is quite good, with a percentage of educators who understand as much as 72%, while those who do not understand are only 28%. Educators are still at a medium level regarding skills in using digital media in the learning process. There are supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of 21st century education, such as facilities, parent educators, and students. Literacy Digital plays an important role and is a component of literacy that must exist in schools because good mastery of digital literacy can improve the professional competence of educators.Keywords: 21st century education, digital literacy, educator competenceDoi: https://doi.org/10.23960/JIPS/v5i2.59-62

Abstract

Corruption is a serious challenge that harms the country financially and morally. The Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Study Program at the University of Lampung initiated a program to strengthen the integrity of third-semester students to build an anti-corruption culture. This activity aims to increase students' understanding, awareness, and commitment to integrity values, such as honesty, responsibility, and transparency. The methods used include problem analysis, poster trials through focus group discussions (FGD), socialization, and evaluation. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of integrity. Posters as an educational medium have proven effective in conveying anti-corruption messages, while motivating students to apply these values. Students also showed a higher commitment as agents of social change in realizing cultural integrity on campus. However, challenges such as tolerance for dishonest behavior in the social environment still need to be overcome. Therefore, strengthening is needed through the integration of anti-corruption values ​​in the curriculum, public campaigns, and ongoing evaluation. This step is expected to be able to create a young generation with integrity who supports good governance and becomes a driving force for eradicating corruption.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research was the importance of teacher’s role in fostering the good character of students. Based on the results of preliminary research, there were still many students who showed bad attitudes such as fighting, not wanting to help friends who were having difficulties, being ignorant, and so on. This study used a qualitative method and the data sources in this study included teachers of Akidah Akhlak subject, school principal, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was inductive and described narratively. The results of this study indicated that the teachers of Akidah Akhlak at MTs Negeri 1 Tanjungkarang generally have carried out their roles quite well, especially in fostering the good character of the students.

Abstract

In today's digital era, social media is considered the right platform for selling and promoting MSME products. The purpose of this Community Service is to provide strategic training. The community service method for MSMEs in Bengkulu includes training that uses a discussion and socialization approach. This business strategy training with social media can help MSMEs improve their marketing performance and encourage business growth in the digital era. Providing business entrepreneurship training using social media can also benefit small businesses by increasing revenue, increasing brand awareness, improving networking capabilities, following industry trends, and making informed decisions. Business strategies using social media into business entrepreneurship training are strategic decisions that can have many benefits for small businesses. MSMEs can also develop an opportunity-centered entrepreneurial mindset, where MSMEs learn to identify and capitalize on opportunities, think creatively, and take calculated risks.

Abstract

Fenomena Begging Digital di media sosial, khususnya TikTok, semakin marak dan menimbulkan perdebatan etis. Praktik ini memanfaatkan interaksi digital untuk meminta sumbangan dengan membangun narasi emosional dan menampilkan kondisi sulit guna menarik simpati. Meskipun dianggap sebagai bentuk solidaritas sosial, fenomena ini juga memunculkan kekhawatiran terkait eksploitasi individu, degradasi nilai sosial, serta penyalahgunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi pelaku, respons masyarakat, serta dampak sosial dan hukum dari fenomena ini. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan analisis konten, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi video dan studi literatur. Fokus analisis mencakup pola komunikasi, tema yang diangkat, serta interaksi antara pelaku dan audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Begging Digital mendapat respons beragam dari dukungan sebagai sarana kreatif hingga kritik sebagai bentuk eksploitasi yang menormalisasi perilaku tidak produktif, potensi penipuan dan manipulasi publik. Dari perspektif sosiologi hukum, regulasi terkait praktik ini masih belum jelas, sehingga menimbulkan celah dalam pengawasan dan perlindungan kelompok anak dibawah umur dan usia lanjut. Kesimpulannya, fenomena ini mencerminkan perubahan dinamika sosial di era digital. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan literasi digital agar pengguna dapat mengikuti panduan dan regulasi dari platform TikTok, regulasi yang lebih ketat, serta edukasi masyarakat agar praktik ini tidak disalahgunakan dan dapat dikelola secara lebih etis dan bertanggung jawab.
