Abstract

Nematoda puru akar (Meloidogyne sp.) merupakan salah satu kendala dalam budidaya tomat. Pengendalian hayati dengan menggunakan mikroba antagonis Trichoderma sp. adalah alternatif pengendalian yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya dalam menekan tingkat kerusakan akar pada tanaman tomat, 2) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya terhadap populasi nematoda puru akar tanaman tomat, 3) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat, 4) mengetahui pengaruh empat isolat jamur Trichoderma sp. dan kombinasinya terhadap kandungan senyawa fenol (saponin, tanin, dan glikosida). Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret sampai Juni 2014 di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL), dengan 16 perlakuan dan 4 ulang. Empat isolat Trichoderma sp. yang digunakan yaitu Trichoderma isolat jahe, Trichoderma isolat nanas, Trichoderma isolat pisang, dan Trichoderma isolat bawang merah dan kombinasinya serta nematisida dan kontrol. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tingkat kerusakan akar, populasi nematoda, kepadatan akhir Trichoderma sp., tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, dan analisis kandungan fenol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian isolat Trichoderma sp. belum mampu menekan populasi nematoda serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat. Akan tetapi, pemberian isolat Trichoderma sp. dapat menekan tingkat kerusakan akar dan meningkatkan kandungan senyawa glikosida. Trichoderma isolat Jahe+Nanas+Pisang+Bawang merah adalah yang terbaik dalam menekan tingkat kerusakan akar.

Abstract

This study examines how the use of biofertilizer and intercropping methods impacts the growth and pod yield of different soybean cultivars. The research involved six high-quality soybean cultivars, which were treated with Fermented Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) Azolla at various doses. The researchers also considered environmental factors and soil fertility conditions during the evaluation. The findings revealed that environmental factors play a crucial role in influencing the growth of soybean plants. Additionally, suboptimal soil fertility, as well as pest, disease, and weed infestations, presented challenges to soybean productivity. Through careful analysis, the researchers identified that cultivar K2 (Anjasmoro) treated with a dose of 250 ml/L LOF displayed the best performance. Notably, positive correlations were observed between plant height, number of filled pods, and seed weight per plot. The use of biofertilizer and intercropping systems demonstrated significant potential in promoting sustainable soybean productivity. Consequently, this study contributes to the development of sustainable farming practices and offers insights to enhance soybean production in an eco-friendly manner.

Abstract

Consumer awareness of a healthy lifestyle is driving an increase on demand for food products that are low in sodium, gluten-free, and made from natural ingredients. Coconut aminos with the brand "Gulapa" is one of the new products to meet the demand made by PT. Berkat Petani Indonesia. For this reason, market research is needed regarding the position of the product from the consumer's perspective. This study was aimed to analyze the market potential of coconut aminos "Gulapa", evaluate consumer preferences, and identify effective marketing strategies. The research period was 5 (five) months in 2024 in Banyumas, Purbalingga, Purwokerto, and Cilacap Regencies, Central Java Province. The descriptive analysis method was used with data collection using qualitative approach through observation and interviews, as well as secondary data analysis. Data was analyzed using worksheet as a tool to represent what was to be known and researched. The results of the worksheet analysis can be concluded that most consumers were not familiar with coconut aminos products, but have high interest in trying them. Consumer preferences for choosing healthy coconut aminos include a priority order in the form of brand reputation, taste, price, and ease of purchase access. Consumers tend to choose local products over imports. The main distribution channels preferred by consumers include supermarkets, online stores, and grocery stores. The product has great potential to compete in the market. Recommended marketing strategies include consumer education, brand image strengthening, and distribution expansion. The implications of the results of this study are the product of coconut aminos “Gulapa” has a fairly broad market opportunity, a clear marketing strategy direction, and the need for continuous market education. With the proper approachment, coconut aminos “Gulapa” could be the main choice as a substitute for traditional soy sauce in Indonesia.

Abstract

Produksi kacang hijau di Indonesia masih rendah karena luas penanaman yang terbatas. Penambahan luas penanaman melalui pemanfaatan lahan suboptimal seperti lahan salin dapat menjadi pemecahan masalah rendahnya produksi kacang hijau dalam negeri. Tanah salin memiliki keterbatasan berupa garam berlebih yang merugikan pertumbuhan tanaman. Pupuk silika dilaporkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan tanaman menghadapi cekaman salinitas. Penelitian ditujukan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh dosis pupuk silika, tingkat salinitas,dan interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau. Penelitian didalam greenhouse ini memakai Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor penelitianyaitu. dosis pupuk silika (P) sebagai faktor pertama dan tingkat salinitas (S) sebagai faktorkedua. Dosis pupuk silika terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu 0 ml L-1 = P1, 2 mL L-1 =P2, 4 mL L-1 = P3 dan 6 mL L-1 = P4. Salinitas terdiri atas 3 tingkat yaitu < 2 dS m-1 = S1, 4 dS m-1 = S2 dan 8 dS m-1 = S3. Kombinasi faktor penelitian menghasilkan 12 bentuk perlakuan dan di ulang 3 kali sehingga terbentuk 36 unit percobaan. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk silika hanya berpengaruh pada jumlah daun trifoliat kacang hijau pada umur 42 hari setelah tanam.Jumlah daun trifoliat tertinggi diperoleh pada dosis pupuk silika 0 ml L-1, yaitu 6,89 helai.Tingkat salinitas menurunkan hampir seluruh variabel pertumbuhan, hasil dan fisiologitanaman kacang hijau. Interaksi dosis pupuk silika dan tingkat salinitas mempengaruhi jumlahpolong per tanaman. Jumlah polong tertinggi diperoleh melalui pemberian pupuk silika 6 mLL-1 pada kondisi salinitas < 2 dS m-1.
