Abstract

This research aims to describe and collect information about the actualization of Wasathiyah Islam based on the Risalah Islam Berkemajuan at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong. The study is motivated by several aspects, such as the diversity of students from various ethnicities, cultures, languages, and religions, along with the insufficient efforts to implement Wasathiyah Islam within the framework of Risalah Islam Berkemajuan at the university. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as participatory observation and document analysis through reputable journal sources. The findings indicate that the actualization of Wasathiyah Islam based on Risalah Islam Berkemajuan at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong is implemented through various religious activities, including group studies, communal prayers, recitations, and the integration of Islamic values and Pancasila in every course, as well as interfaith dialogue forums. This approach aligns with the progressive nature of the Risalah Islam Berkemajuan concept, illustrating the dynamic and progressive development of Wasathiyah Islamic values in addressing both internal and external challenges, significantly contributing to the enhancement of understanding Wasathiyah Islam within the framework of Risalah Islam Berkemajuan at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the perceptions of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) students regarding the Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) course at Muhammadiyah University of Gombong and to assess the effectiveness of the internalization of AIK values in the context of their daily lives. A survey was conducted among 100 NU students to understand their views on the comfort of studying at Muhammadiyah University, experiences of discrimination, and changes in perception towards Muhammadiyah before and after taking the AIK course. The method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of documents related to the Muhammadiyah course. The research results show that the majority of NU students feel comfortable studying at Muhammadiyah University of Gombong and do not experience discrimination. The AIK course is considered effective in introducing and deepening their understanding of Islamic teachings and the principles of Muhammadiyah, with 98.3% of students reporting a positive change in their views towards Muhammadiyah. Nevertheless, only 36.2% of students feel that the AIK material is relevant to their daily lives, indicating a need to better contextualize the learning material to make it more meaningful for NU students. Overall, this research concludes that Muhammadiyah University of Gombong has successfully integrated AIK values into the academic life of NU students, but there is a need to enhance the relevance of the material to the realities of student life to strengthen the internalization of these values.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the implementation of cultural da'wah based on the values of the Progressive Islamic Treatise at the University of Muhammadiyah Gombong. Progressivism in this context refers to adaptation and renewal efforts in the delivery of da'wah, by emphasizing the application of Islamic values that are relevant to the needs of the times and local contextualization. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through field studies and documentation studies related to da'wah activities on campus. The findings of the study show that the implementation of cultural da'wah at the University of Muhammadiyah Gombong has shown progressivity in responding to the challenges of the times, with the integration of the values of the Progressive Islamic Treatise which includes moderation, inclusivity, and openness to differences. This study also identifies the Relevance of Cultural Da'wah in the Framework of Progressive Islamic Treatises, Implementation Strategies and Supporting and Inhibiting Factors in the Implementation of Cultural Da'wah, as well as providing strategic recommendations for optimizing the implementation of cultural da'wah in the university environment from the perspective of Progressive Islamic Treatises. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of a more effective cultural da'wah model in accordance with advanced and contextual Islamic values.

Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the implementation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) education on Muhammadiyah campuses plays an important role in shaping student morals. This education is expected to not only improve academic understanding, but also shape character and ethics in accordance with Islamic values. Through interactive teaching methods, experiential approaches, and integration of moral values in the curriculum, students are expected to internalise Islamic teachings in their daily lives. The purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth exploration of the role of AIK in strengthening student morals. This research method uses library research with a qualitative and conceptual approach. The results of the study through the method of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan education can strengthen morale. There is a relationship between AIK education and moral improvement of students. Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan education as a moral characteristic of Muhammadiyah students. This research is expected to increase knowledge about the relationship between Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah education and strengthening student morals. Abstrak Makalah ini membahas tentang implementasi pendidikan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) di kampus Muhammadiyah berperan penting dalam membentuk moral mahasiswa. Pendidikan ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman akademis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter dan etika yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Melalui metode pengajaran yang interaktif, pendekatan berbasis pengalaman, serta integrasi nilai-nilai moral dalam kurikulum, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menginternalisasi ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan eksplorasi yang mendalam mengenai peran AIK dalam memperkuat moral mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini, mengunakan library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan konseptual. Hasil penelitian melalui metode pendidikan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dapat memperkuat moral. Adanya keterkaitan antara pendidikan AIK dan perbaikan moral mahasiswa. pendidikan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan sebagai penciri moral mahasiswa muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan tentang hubungan Pendidikan Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dan penguatan moral mahasiswa

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of interventions addressing the phenomenon of bullying in elementary schools. Bullying is a significant issue with detrimental effects on the psychological and social well-being of students. Appropriate interventions are expected to mitigate or even eliminate bullying behaviors within the elementary school environment.The study uses descriptive qualitative research, where the subjects used to lead the data are principals, teachers and students in grades 1 to 6. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the data is analyzed and described in the form of a narrative so as to produce a conclusion. The conclusion of the results of the study is that SDN X P classifies three bullyings that occur in schools, namely physical, relational and verbal bullying. The preventive and repressive steps taken by SDN X P are by providing support to victims, making regulations regarding bullying, providing examples, one of which is PAI lessons, detecting bullying acts earlier and providing solutions related to bullying.

Abstract

Saat ini kasus kekerasan seksual pada anak marak terjadi di berbagai tempat. Dua pertiga terjadi dalam lingkungan keluarga atau sekelilingnya dan 75% korbannya adalah anakanak perempuan. Hal ini akan berdampak pada kondisi psikis dan fisik anak hingga dewasa kelak. Lemahnya sanksi hukum bagi para pelaku kejahatan seksual dan pengawasan orang tua menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Kondisi masyarakat yang acuh terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan minimnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini menjadi alasan untuk dilakukannya kegiatan parenting sebagai wujud pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan ini, beberapa upaya penanggulangan seperti pemutaran video dokumenter tentang bahaya kejahatan seksual pada anak, penyuluhan anti kejahatan/kekerasan seks, pengetahuan tentang deteksi dini pedofil, termasuk penyuluhan kesehatan mental pada anak Metode pelaksanaan pendidikan anti kekerasan seksual berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang bertumpu pada prinsip-prinsip bahwa pemberdayaan adalah proses kolaboratif sehingga dalam pelaksanaanya harus melibatkan masyarakat sebagai partner. Oleh karena itu, keluarga dan masyarakat harus berperan aktif dalam kegiatan tersebut. Tingkat kesadaran masyarakat juga merupakan kunci keberhasilan pemberdayaan karena pengetahuan dapat memobilisasi tindakan bagi suatu perubahan yang diharapkanKekerasan seksual adalah tindakan melanggar yang mencakup pelecehan seksual, pemerkosaan, pencabulan, atau segala bentuk eksploitasi seksual yang tidak diinginkan oleh korban. Kekerasan seksual dapat menyebabkan dampak psikologis yang serius pada korban, termasuk gangguan stres pasca-trauma, kecemasan, dan depresi, yang dapat mengganggu kualitas hidup mereka. Upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual dan pendidikan yang lebih baik tentang persetujuan, batasan seksual, serta hak-hak individu adalah kunci untuk mengurangi kasus kekerasan seksual. Kekerasan seksual sering kali terkait dengan stigma dan ketidaksetaraan gender, yang mempersulit korban untuk melaporkan dan mencari bantuan. Masyarakat memiliki peran kunci dalam mendukung korban dan berkontribusi pada pencegahan kekerasan seksual dengan mempromosikan budaya persetujuan dan melaporkan perilaku yang mencurigakan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the values of multiculturalism in students at Muhammadiyah Gombong University both theoretically and practically, in the context of everyday life. The research was motivated by the plurality (ethnicity, race, culture, language and religion) of different students which raises concerns in social aspects and academic communities. A survey was conducted on 250 students from 6 study programs of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Gombong to obtain data on multicultural values in the campus environment. The method used was mixed methods to collect quantitative (numerical) and qualitative (descriptive) data. The results showed that multiculturalism lies in the attitude of openness, active acceptance, and equal recognition of social groups as an integral part of an entity Society, both democratic values, harmony and tolerance. The Strategy of Muhammadiyah Gombong University in Building Multicultural values includes 3 ways, namely the Role of Student Organizations and UKM, Collaboration of lecturers and students, and the Role of the Curriculum as a Container for Multicultural Character Building. Overall, this research concludes that Muhammadiyah Gombong University strengthens the position of successful Islamic higher education as a strategic space for inclusive and transformative multicultural character building.
