Abstract

This study aims to increase children's reading interest through abaca flashcard games for students at the Raudhatul Athfal (RA) level. The subjects in this study were students of group B with a total of 20 students, consisting of 6 female students and 14 male students. The research was carried out in March-April 2020 at RA Aisyiah Pekon Letakan in group B students. The object of this study is a beginner's reading interest which includes pleasure, interest, initiative, and attention to the abaca flashcard game. The research instrument used observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive with percentage technique. The results showed that the beginner reading interest in group B children at RA Aisyiah Letakan could be increased through playing abaca flash cards.

Abstract

 Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik merupakan permasalahan yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan (sekolah)  karena faktor ini merupakan salah satu hal yang mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar,atas dasar itulah yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini ,  salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar yaitu dengan memilih model pembelajaran dengan tipe pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui 1) peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran PAIKEM tipe Direct 2) peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan metode konvensional 3) peningkatan hasil belajar yang menerapkan model PAIKEM tipe Direct Intruction dengan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen (quasi eksperimental ) dengan desain nonequivalentt  qontrol group desain dengan analisis data uji t. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan hasil belajar yang menerapkan  model pembelaajran PAIKEM Tipe Direct Instruction lebih tinggi dibanding dengan metode konvensioanl.Kata kunci:  Direct Instruction, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritik

Abstract

Hypertension is defined as a systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension is a degenerative disease that requires long-term treatment. Hypertension is a silent killer disease because it does not cause symptoms and is only detected during physical examination due to certain diseases so that it can be a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Hypertension management guidelines recommend the use of thiazide/ACEi/ARB/CCB diuretic class drug monotherapy. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in effectiveness between Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) and Angiostensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) antihypertensives in reducing blood pressure. The method used in this study is through literature review using a database through Google Schoolar and Pubmed with a time span of 2013-2023 using the PICO method with keywords or keywords tailored to the search topic and articles selected based on inclusion criteria. The results of the literature show that ARB and CCB antihypertensives have similar effectiveness in lowering blood pressure. CCB antihypertensives are vasculoselective. This can be beneficial because CCBs are able to reduce peripheral resistance without reducing heart function so as to reduce the incidence of stroke. However, the use of CCBs can cause edema while ARBs have renoprotective effects or effects that protect the kidneys.
