Abstract

Many students choose majors because of joining friends, because of the popularity of majors and other reasons even though the chosen majors are not in accordance with their talents. This research is expected to provide solutions to students regarding the majors they will choose. If this problem can be overcome then it will greatly affect both students and schools, the impact on students will be increased enthusiasm and enthusiasm for learning, for schools the impact will be the development of every department there is because the output produced is competent students because of the knowledge delivered right on target. This research is expected to minimize the mistakes in the selection or determination of student majors by applying the SAW method, can determine what variables determine the accuracy of the majors separation by applying the SAW method. The data tested on this system is the data of Bengkulu 1 Vocational School students as many as 100 student data on the Computer and Information Engineering skills program. he data that is processed in this system is the data of Bengkulu 1 Vocational School students as many as 204 student data on the Computer Engineering and Information Technology expertise program. The method of decision making in the system is the Simple Additive Weighting method. The results of testing this method from 204 test data performed for an accuracy of 94,61%. The high accuracy obtained from testing the data so that this system is very suitable to be used to determine the majors of students of SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu in the field of Computer and Information Engineering expertise.

Abstract

The suitability of the major chosen by a student is one of the factors supporting the successful achievement of vocational school graduates, so that in order to realize the accuracy of this major, the researcher built a decision support system for determining the major. In this study, the data that was managed was data from class 1 students in the field of Computer Engineering and Information Technology who would go up to grade 2, because majors were carried out when students went up to grade 2, which would later be divided into 3 majors, these majors were Computer Engineering, and Networking, Multimedia, and Software Engineering. This study applies a decision support system with the Additive Weighting Method (SAW) algorithm. This research is very helpful for the school in providing majort recommendations to students so that students are in the right major according to the talents that exist in students.

Abstract

A stable and reliable network is essential in today's world of communications. One of the challenges in managing a network is ensuring balanced resource use so that no one device is overburdened. The load balance method has proven effective in solving this problem, and in this research, we focus on implementing the load balance method on MikroTik devices to improve network stability.

Abstract

Academic Information System is a computer-based system built with the hope of academic interests which aims to increase the quality of academic services, performance and human resources, as well as the resulting competitiveness. The Academic information system makes it easy for students to access important information related to the University such as course lists, grades, administration, academic calendars, information about each department and others. With the development of information systems in the academic field, it is also necessary to test information systems to find out whether the development and objectives of the information system are as expected. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of student satisfaction with the quality of academic information system services (SIKAMU) using The ServQual method provides recommendations for which variables need improvement in improving the quality of SIKAMU academic information system services. The research method used in this research is e-service quality or what is called e-servqual. From the research results, it was found that the gap or gap between expectations and reality is not too big, which means that the quality of the academic information system in the SIKAMU application is good, only a few small aspects need to be improved. Furthermore, from the aspect of student satisfaction, it can be concluded that Bengkulu Muhammadiyah University students are satisfied with the services provided by the SIKAMU information system. With an average overall rating of 80% (satisfied). This means that students' expectations regarding the five dimensions of service have been fulfilled even though they are not very in line with what students expected

Abstract

Promosi pariwisata Pusat Lingkungan Gajah (PLG) Seblat masih dilakukan secara manual melalui brosur, baliho, dan informasi dari mulut ke mulut, sehingga tidak efisien dan memiliki jangkauan terbatas. Oleh karna itu, penelitian ini dikembangkan dan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi promosi dan layanan wisata di Pusat Lingkungan Gajah Seblat (PLG) serta mempermudah akses informasi bagi masyarakat. Tujuan perancangan sistem informasi berbasis web ini adalah mengembangkan sistem informasi yang efisien untuk menyediakan informasi tentang wisata, memudahkan akses masyarakat, serta membantu promosi dan pemesanan tiket online. Metode yang digunakan adalah waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain perangkat lunak, implementasi dan uji coba sistem, integrasi, serta operasi dan perawatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi yang terdiri dari tiga bagian: user, admin, dan kades. Aplikasi ini menyediakan informasi tentang PLG Seblat, pendaftaran, login, dan pemesanan tiket wisata. Admin dapat mengelola data aplikasi, sedangkan kades dapat mengelola data wisata dan melihat laporan penjualan tiket.

Abstract

The development of technology and information has had a significant impact on the business world, especially through the use of the internet as a means of information and communication. E-commerce is a major business trend today, enabling expanded marketing and increased profits for business people. Effective marketing is the key to success in business, with a focus on retaining customers and meeting their expectations. The use of the internet and digital technology has made it possible to sell goods and services online through various platforms, including online shops, social media and websites. Previous research shows that the application of e-commerce in marketing products such as local crafts and snacks has succeeded in increasing competitiveness and sales. Case studies on Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) also highlight the importance of using web-based media to increase product promotion and sales. In this context, further research was conducted to explore the potential of online marketing for MSME businesses, with a focus on developing a web-based online shop for Ganepo cracker products. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to improving the understanding and practice of online marketing for MSME players, as well as expanding the reach and knowledge of their products in the digital market

Abstract

E-commerce merupakan proses pembelian maupun penjualan produk secara elektronik Biasanya, industri ini akan melibatkan transaksi seperti transfer dana, pemasaran online, jual beli melalui internet Rekomendasi produk yang ada di media sosial ataupun official account e-commerce dapat mempengaruhi pembelian pelanggan, baik yang direncanakan maupun secara impulsif Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak antara variabel kualitas informasi, dan kesamaan (similarity) terhadap minat beli pelanggan pada e-commerce, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sample random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 orang Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas informasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap minat beli, dan kesamaan (similarity) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli Pengujian secara simultan hasil menunjukkan kualitas informasi, dan kesamaan (similarity) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli Berdasarkan hasil temuan pada penelitian bahwa perusahaan yang memberikan kualitas informasi dan kesamaan (similarity) yang baik akan meningkatkan minat beli pelanggan pada e-commerce melalui sistem rekomendasi produk.

Abstract

Lecturer performance evaluation is a crucial part of efforts to improve the quality of higher education. However, the wvaluation process often encounters challenges such as subjectivity and inconsistency in determining the weight of each criterion. This study aims to design an objective, systematic, and measurable lecturer performance assessment modal using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. The AHP process wa carried out thraugh pairwise comparisons to obtain priority weights, followed by a consistency check with a consistent rasio (CR) of (0.04), indicating that the evaluation was valid and consistent. The results show that the criteria of Teaching and Learning and Research have the highest weights (0.29), making them the most dominant aspects of the evaluation. The sub-criterion “Developing Teaching Materials” hold the highest global weight (142.70), highlighting the importance of innovation in learning materials. Out of 20 lecturers evaluated, Lecturer 7 achieved the highest performance score (87.5526). This study concludes that AHP can serve as an effective decision support tool in lecturer performance evaluation systems and can be used as a reference in developing a more fair and transparent assessment model.

Abstract

Markaz Abu Bakar in Bengkulu City is a private educational institution that provides education from early childhood (PAUD) to junior high school (SMP). The student admission process at this institution is still conducted manually, which leads to several issues such as long queues, data recording errors, administrative delays, and low efficiency in time and labor. To address these problems, the implementation of a web-based information system is necessary. This study aims to design a web-based new student admission information system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach, which includes four main diagrams: Use Case, Class, Sequence, and Activity Diagram. The methodology used is Design Science Research (DSR), which consists of problem identification, artifact design, demonstration, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The result of this study is a system design that facilitates online registration, including form submission, document uploads, and online payment processes. The system is intended to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency in school administrative management. With this system, parents and prospective students do not need to visit the school in person, making the registration process faster and more convenient. The proposed system is expected to be accessible, secure, and capable of simplifying data management for school staff. This research provides a practical contribution to the digital transformation of educational administration in Islamic boarding school environments.
