Abstract

The design of the three-tier client server architecture is a further development than before that uses two tiers. The planning is the initial stage before the implementation of the system that is already running today. With this model it is expected that the application no longer need to be installed on every client but enough on the server only.  Beside that, this model of server side application can be accessed by every client in various operating system infrastructure and hardware. The Library transaction service workload can be dispersed and no longer overlap at one work terminal only, but it can already be spread over other terminals, which is the benefit of this technology.  The integrated information system between the academic information system and library information system makes the data more accurate and well distributed. The credibility and flexibility of data is maintained due to the synchronization between servers for data usage on the main server. This kind of model system development pattern makes integration between parts of an organization better. Three tiers have a database layer on server 1, the application layer on server 2, and Layer 3 is on the user side.

Abstract

The lecture attendance application at the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu needs to be developed so that it is easier in the implementation process. One way to simplify the process is to use the presence of a Quick Response Code which can be done in online or offline lectures. The method used is in the form of encrypted and hashed Uniform Resource Locator storage combined with internet protocol address filtering so that the information stored in the Quick Response Code becomes more secure than in plain text. The data collection method uses observation and interview techniques to previous application users and then analysis, design and experimental programming are carried out on program modules that play a role in the presence process. From the results of this study, the Quick Response Code can be protected and used successfully and can be integrated with several learning management systems, social media applications that are often used by lecturers, especially at the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. The results of this study have been used in the lecture process in the Even Semester of the 2020 Academic Year.

Abstract

The Prototype of Travel Orders Management Information System (TOMIS) for the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Bengkulu City is an innovation aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the administration of official travels and assignments within the Secretariat of the DPRD of Bengkulu City. This article discusses the steps involved in the creation and development of the prototype information system, starting from needs analysis, data management, to implementation. The development method employed is prototyping, which allows users to provide feedback and observe the system's progress firsthand. The prototype is designed to address various issues commonly encountered in the administrative processes of official travels and assignments, such as difficulties in submitting Travel Orders (SPPD) and Assignment Orders (SPT), as well as inefficient monitoring, evaluation, and filing procedures. With the existence of this prototype, it is anticipated that the administrative processes of official travels and assignments within the Secretariat of the DPRD of Bengkulu City will become more structured, transparent, and efficient. Furthermore, this prototype can serve as a reference for other institutions in developing similar information systems.

Abstract

Learning media requires creativity from both students and teachers. It is very important to be able to organize visually appealing class materials such as presentations, posters, group activities, virtual class materials such as Zoom or Google Meet backgrounds, class decorations, infographics, video templates and any other materials that require special training so that teachers and students can discuss using Canva in making learning media and posters, being creative and artistically independent. This community service aims to provide innovation to students and teachers to produce high-quality graphic designs with minimal effort, and the Merdeka curriculum includes digitization elements that encourage teachers and students to be more creative in teaching through various platforms available in cyberspace. and learning needs. The method or approach used in the PKM program activities includes development training on learning media and making posters using Canva for students and teachers. Conclusion: the level of teacher participation in activities is high, teachers can be trained for training, they can use learning resources during training in teaching and educational activities in schools, ongoing training with future topics is currently needed.

Abstract

Websites as a medium for delivering information play a very important role in the digital information era. In carrying out its activities, LP2M utilizes KKN registration application software for processing KKN data. The system that is running at this time has several problems, namely that students have to queue to register with LP2M by filling in the Student Identification Number (NPM) form and their name as username and password. However, by focusing more on discussing the use of AJAX technology on website pages and its impact on the access speed (load time) of a website page, especially in the function section of the AJAX engine, to be able to know and study the use of the functions in JavaScript, it is wrong the only one is the XMLHttpRequest function. The protection system is a transfer and communication process that is carried out asynchronously by client and server computers, the website pages displayed will be more interactive and faster for website page visitors to load.

Abstract

Proses registrasi donor darah yang manual dan tidak terintegrasi menyebabkan banyak masalah, seperti waktu tunggu yang lama, kesulitan untuk melacak informasi donor, dan kurangnya informasi aktual untuk calon donor. Akibatnya, proses ini mengurangi kenyamanan dan efisiensi layanan bagi pendonor dan petugas PMI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji sebuah aplikasi registrasi donor darah berbasis PWA yang dapat meningkatkan kemudahan dan efisiensi proses registrasi donor darah di PMI. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan menganalisis sejauh mana aplikasi tersebut dapat membantu dalam mengelola data dan informasi tentang donor darah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan perangkat lunak iteratif dan inkremental. Analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian aplikasi adalah langkah-langkah yang dilakukan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan petugas PMI, dan survei kepada calon donor darah. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan untuk mengukur kinerja, keandalan, dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi registrasi donor darah berbasis PWA berhasil memenuhi tujuan penelitian dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi proses registrasi donor darah di PMI, dengan waktu tunggu yang lebih singkat dan akses informasi yang lebih cepat. Selain itu, integrasi data yang lebih baik memungkinkan petugas PMI untuk mengelola data donor dengan lebih efektif.

Abstract

Jaringan CCTV online di Gedung Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu saat ini masih menggunakan Bandwidth yang sama dengan pengguna Laboratorium Komputer. Hal ini menyebabkan kualitas gambar CCTV online menjadi tidak optimal frame rate rendah (Video yang padatah-patah), terutama saat jam perkuliahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan manajemen Bandwidth pada jaringan CCTV online di Gedung Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dengan menggunakan metode Simple queue pada router MikroTik. Metode Simple queue dipilih karena mudah dikonfigurasikan dan efektif dalam membatasi Bandwidth. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran kualitas gambar record CCTV online sebelum dan setelah penerapan manajemen Bandwidth. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen Bandwidth dengan metode Simple queue dapat meningkatkan kualitas record CCTV online dan meminimalisir traffic jaringan pada DVR CCTV. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perbandingan record CCTV dengan frame rate rendah yang menjadi lebih bagus dan traffic jaringan pada DVR CCTV yang lebih stabil ,terutama saat jam sibuk penggunaan jaringan, walaupun hasil yang diberikan belum terlihat maksimal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam hal optimalisasi penggunaan Bandwidth pada jaringan CCTV online, sehingga kualitas gambar CCTV online dapat sedikit ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Building materials are all materials both as basic and auxiliary materials needed to build a certain building that are easily available in building stores, one of which is at the Sinar Harapan Building Shop. The purpose of this research is to build a system that can provide information on building materials that are in demand and not in demand by applying the k-means clustering method to help facilitate the management of building material sales. The results of this study have created a system for classifying in-selling and out-of-selling building materials based on the results of calculations using the k-means clustering method by testing 10 samples of building materials which get the results of 3 in-selling building materials and 7 building materials not in demand or less in demand.

Abstract

This activity discussed the implementation of the Auto Index application in the management of Duty Warrant (SPT) and Official Travel Warrant (SPPD) archives at the Bengkulu City DPRD. This system was developed as a digital solution in improving the efficiency of the filing process and making it easier to search for documents faster and more accurately. This street vendor activity has been carried out at the Bengkulu City DPRD Building from February 3 to February 28, 2025. The implementation stages carried out are needs analysis, system design, and implementation and testing. The results of a survey of employees who use this system show that 85% of users find this application very helpful in their work, especially in finding documents quickly. Thus, the implementation of the Auto Index in the Bengkulu City DPRD has had a positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of archive management.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran membutuhkan kreativitas baik dari siswa maupun guru. sangat penting untuk dapat mengatur materi kelas yang menarik secara visual seperti presentasi, poster, kegiatan kelompok, materi kelas virtual seperti latar belakang Zoom atau Google Meet, dekorasi kelas, infografis, template video, dan materi lain yang memerlukan pelatihan khusus agar guru dan siswa dapat berdiskusi menggunakan Canva dalam pembuatan media pembelajar dan poster , menjadi kreatif dan mandiri secara artistik. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan inovasi kepada siswa dan guru untuk menghasilkan desain grafis berkualitas tinggi dengan tenaga minimal, dan kurikulum Merdeka memasukkan elemen digitalisasi yang mendorong guru dan siswa lebih kreatif dalam mengajar melalui berbagai platform yang tersedia di dunia maya. dan kebutuhan belajar. Metode atau pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan program PKM meliputi pelatihan pengembangan tentang media pembelajaran dan pembuatan poster menggunakan canva untuk siswa serta guru-guru. Kesimpulan : tingkat partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan tinggi , guru dapat dilatih untuk pelatihan, mereka dapat menggunakan sumber belajar selama pelatihan dalam kegiatan pengajaran dan pendidikan di sekolah, pelatihan berkelanjutan dengan topik masa depan saat ini diperlukan. Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, krativitas, poster, canva.
