Abstract

The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia was extremely high. The distribution rate as of June 27, 2021, was confirmed 2,093,962, died 56,729 and recovered 1,842,457. The government’s role in the protection of health workers was highly needed. Several policies from the government were contained in the regulatory provisions, such as bonuses payment and death compensation for health workers and Covid-19 vaccine program for medical personnel. The government's efforts to prevent the spread and transmission of Corona virus included the policy of staying home, wearing masks, and washing hands. The purpose of this study was to analyze the stages that have been carried out by the Indonesian government when dealing with Covid-19 and to protect health workers. The study used systemic literature review. From the 7 articles obtained, Indonesia had implemented policies to control and prevent the transmission of Covid-19. The policies required supports, participations and people awareness. Good and organized regulations and health system were needed. Patterned coordination among stakeholders, especially the central government and regional governments, and SOPs for the prevention and control of Covid-19 were required to completely inhibit the spread of Covid-19 infection.

Abstract

Background: Previously has been defined that peptic ulcer has strongly correlated to Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. But it hasn’t determined about correlation of gastrin serum level to the ulcer severity on H. pylori infection. The aims of this study were to find the percentage of H. pylori infection on peptic ulcer cases and its correlation to the gastrin serum level. Method: This is analytic cross sectional study in 50 patients with gastric ulcer who came to Adam Malik hospital from February to October 2007. The correlation between gastrin serum level and the size of ulcer with positive and negative Urea Breath Test (UBT) group was analyzed by unpaired student t- test. The correlation between gastrin serum level and ulcer size were investigated with Pearson correlation test and linier regression. Result: Fifty eligible patients, 33 (66%) had positive UBT and 17 (34%) were negative. There were statistically significant difference on gastrin serum level in positive UBT and negative respectively (p = 0.017). There were also significant difference between mean of ulcer size in positive UBT and negative respectively (p = 0.025). There were correlation between gastrin serum level and ulcer size (r = 0.315; p = 0.026). It can predict the increasing ulcer size in 0.012 mm every 1 pg/mL of gastrin serum elevated. Conclusion: Patients with positive UBT has greater ulcer size and higher gastrin level as compared to the negative group. There were positive correlation between gastrin serum level to the size of ulcer in peptic ulcer patients and increase of ulcer size followed with elevated of gastrin serum level. Keywords: Helicobacter pylori infection, gastrin serum level, ulcer size

Abstract

Box Jacking is a trenchless method of underpass construction that consists in pushing one or more prefabricated concrete boxes into the soil using high capacity hydraulic jacks, while excavating the soil. The Box Jacking method generates soil-concrete frictions at all sides of a box and concrete-concrete friction while it is still on concrete platform. To minimalize this friction, lubricant such as oil and grease can be applied on all sides of the box. Objectives of this study are: 1) to identify soil classification, cohesion (c) and internal friction angle (f); 2) to obtain adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) for soil-concrete and concrete-concrete contact; 3) to obtain adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) for soil-concrete and concrete-concrete contact lubricated by oil; 4) to obtain adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) for soil-concrete and concrete-concrete contact lubricated by grease. Soil samples collected from soil investigation at Underpass Project Site at Tatakan, South Kalimantan, using soil boring test. Samples used for laboratory test are soil below 1.50-2.00 m, 2.50-3.00 m, and 4.50-5.00 m from ground surface. Cylindrical concrete samples are a diameter of 63.1 mm and a height of 20 mm. The concrete strength of concrete sample is 25 MPa. Lubricants used are oil and grease. Types of viscosity of oil used are SAE 5W-40, SAE 10W-40, SAE 15W-40, and SAE 20W-50. Type of viscosity of grease used are NLG#I, NLGI#2 and NLGI#3. Direct shear test was conducted to obtain soil-concrete and concrete-concrete friction values. Addition of grease to surface contact influences adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) significantly. In case of soil-concrete contact, adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) are 10.87 kPa and 22.64°. Addition of lubricant can decrease adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) to 11.80 kPa and 10.87° for oil and 0.44 kPa and 3.88° for grease. In case of concrete-concrete contact, adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) are 6.20 kPa and 32.93°. Addition of lubricant can decrease adhesion (ca) and interface friction angle (δ) to 4.26 kPa and 33.76° for oil and 0 kPa and 3.17° for grease.
