Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the forms of the implementation of the values of silih asah (stimulating potential), silih asih (providing affection) and silih asuh (fulfilling the needs) well known as SILAS, namely the local genius values which are internalized in stakeholder activities to build school quality culture. This research used the qualitative approach from the phenomenology method. The participants were principals, teachers, staff and students of Junior High School at Purwakarta, Indonesia. The results of the study are; The value of silih asah is formed by self-capacity building through the training program and continuing studies to all teachers and staff, the students are involved actively in some academic and non-academic competitions, peer group learning, strong motivation from principal to all school citizenship to be competent and professional. The implementation of silih asih is formed by the sincerity of teachers and staff in serving the students learning needs, a harmonious relationship between the principal with teachers and staff, brotherhood and mutually protect between students, as well as the existence of a weekly program to repair the relationship between all of the school stakeholders in creating a friendly environment and social care. The value of silih asuh is formed by the student attitude, effective communication between principal with teachers and staff, teachers with staff, as well as by the principle 'right man on the right place' in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of all stakeholders professionally and proportionally. SILAS values become a school culture that is transformed in personal and organizational behaviours.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial ratios on corporate performance in Southeast Asia before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of companies listed in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore during the 2019–2023 period. The method used is panel data regression with a Random Effect model, which was selected based on the results of the Hausman and Lagrange Multiplier tests. The results indicate that the Debt Ratio (DR) and firm size have a significant negative impact on financial performance, measured by Return on Assets (ROA). Meanwhile, the Current Ratio (CR) does not show a significant effect on ROA. Additionally, the findings also suggest that the COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted corporate performance during the period, but there was no significant difference in performance post-pandemic. This research provides valuable insights for corporate managers and policymakers to formulate more effective financial strategies in the face of global crises. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa mengenai pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. PKM dilaksanakan di STIE Jayakusuma Jakarta Pusat dengan sasaran mahasiswa semester 1–3 sebanyak 45 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi edukatif dan partisipatif yang dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu persiapan, penyampaian materi, pemaparan mekanisme pencegahan dan penanganan, diskusi interaktif berbasis studi kasus, serta refleksi dan evaluasi kegiatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada 19 Maret 2025 mulai pukul 17.30 hingga selesai. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep kekerasan di perguruan tinggi, bentuk-bentuk kekerasan, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta langkah-langkah pencegahan dan prosedur penanganan yang dapat dilakukan. Mahasiswa menunjukkan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan dan mampu mengidentifikasi situasi yang berpotensi mengandung unsur kekerasan melalui diskusi dan studi kasus. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong tumbuhnya kesadaran dan sikap preventif mahasiswa dalam menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang aman dan kondusif. Secara keseluruhan, PKM ini efektif dalam mencapai tujuan peningkatan literasi mahasiswa tentang pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan di perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengabdian yang berkelanjutan dalam mendukung terwujudnya kampus yang aman, inklusif, dan berkeadilan.
