Abstract

This study also aims to improve the congregation's understanding of the importance of stewardshipand how they can play an active role in supporting church ministry. In practice, many churches face major challenges in carrying out stewardship in accordance with biblical principles. These challenges can stem from a variety of factors, including a lack of in-depth understanding of stewardship, limited resources, and a lack of congregational involvement and participation in church management.This article was written using a literature study method.The application of good stewardship principles has a positive impact on the growth of the congregation, both spiritually and physically. Effective stewardship can increase congregational participation in church activities, strengthen relationships between congregations, and support the development of various ministries in the church. In addition, good resource management also allows the church to be more responsive to the needs of the congregation and the surrounding community. Today's church needs to develop a contextual and relevant stewardship model that can answer challenges and take advantage of existing opportunities. Stewardship models based on congregational participation, technology, servant leadership, contextual needs, and community are some approaches that can be considered to increase the effectiveness of stewardship in the church.Abstrak

Abstract

The Community Service Program (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat or PKM) with the theme "Positive Fellowship from a Biblical Perspective" was conducted by Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Bethel The Way Jakarta. The program aimed to instill an understanding among students about the importance of building healthy, positive relationships based on biblical values. This activity targeted junior and senior high school students at Technosa School and employed methods such as material presentations, interactive discussions, positive fellowship simulations, and personal reflections. The materials emphasized principles of love, honesty, integrity, and the importance of setting boundaries in relationships. The results of the program showed an improvement in students' understanding of the importance of healthy and positive relationships, as well as an increased awareness of applying biblical values in daily life. The impact of this activity was evident in the more harmonious relationships among students, a more supportive social environment, and improved communication skills. This program is expected to be sustained through curriculum integration, mentorship, and collaboration with church communities and other schools.ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan tema "Pergaulan Positif dalam Perspektif Alkitab" dilaksanakan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Bethel The Way Jakarta, dengan tujuan membentuk pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya membangun relasi yang sehat, positif, dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai Alkitab. Kegiatan ini menyasar siswa SMP dan SMA Technosa School, dengan metode yang meliputi sesi pemaparan materi, diskusi interaktif, simulasi pergaulan positif, dan refleksi pribadi. Materi yang disampaikan menekankan prinsip-prinsip kasih, kejujuran, integritas, serta pentingnya menjaga batasan dalam pergaulan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap pentingnya pergaulan yang sehat dan positif, serta kesadaran untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai Alkitab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dampak dari kegiatan ini terlihat pada hubungan antar siswa yang lebih harmonis, suasana pergaulan yang lebih mendukung, dan keterampilan komunikasi yang lebih baik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan melalui integrasi ke dalam kurikulum, pendampingan oleh mentor, serta kolaborasi dengan komunitas gereja dan sekolah lainnya.

Abstract

Sunday School ministry plays an important role in the formation of children's faith and character. However, at GBI City Harvest Sakinah, this ministry faces obstacles of conventional methods, lack of technology integration, and lack of Worship Leader (WL) training. This Community Service activity aims to optimize Sunday School services through strengthening the basis of Bible-based faith, developing interactive methods, utilizing digital technology, and training WLs. The activity methods included training, workshops, and simulations, with 30 participants of teachers and children's ministry administrators. Evaluation results showed an increase in theological understanding, teaching skills, and children's enthusiasm in worship. The average participant satisfaction with the activity reached 93%. This activity is expected to become a contextual and adaptive model of children's ministry in the digital era.ABSTRAKPelayanan Sekolah Minggu berperan penting dalam pembentukan iman dan karakter anak. Namun, di GBI City Harvest Sakinah, pelayanan ini menghadapi kendala metode konvensional, kurangnya integrasi teknologi, dan minimnya pelatihan Worship Leader (WL). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pelayanan Sekolah Minggu melalui penguatan dasar iman berbasis Alkitab, pengembangan metode interaktif, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan pelatihan WL. Metode kegiatan mencakup pelatihan, workshop, dan simulasi, dengan 30 peserta guru dan pengurus pelayanan anak. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman teologi, keterampilan pengajaran, dan antusiasme anak dalam beribadah. Rata-rata kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan mencapai 93%. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pelayanan anak yang kontekstual dan adaptif di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of storytelling methods and the use of technological media in optimizing Christian Religious Education (PAK) learning. The research employed a library research design with a qualitative descriptive approach, which allowed the researcher to analyze in depth various literatures concerning the application of technology-based storytelling in the teaching and learning process. The findings indicate that integrating storytelling methods with technological media enhances students’ interest and motivation, fosters emotional engagement with the learning materials, and creates an interactive and meaningful learning experience. The use of narrative, visual, and interactive elements not only facilitates deeper understanding of the subject matter but also develops students’ critical, creative, and collaborative skills. Therefore, the implementation of technology-based storytelling emerges as an innovative and relevant strategy for Christian Religious Education in the digital era.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran metode cerita dan pemanfaatan media teknologi dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang memungkinkan peneliti menganalisis secara mendalam berbagai literatur terkait penerapan metode cerita berbasis teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode cerita dengan media teknologi mampu meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, membangun keterlibatan emosional dengan materi, serta menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan bermakna. Penggunaan elemen naratif, visual, dan interaktif tidak hanya membantu siswa memahami materi secara lebih mendalam, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode cerita berbasis teknologi menjadi strategi inovatif yang relevan dalam konteks pendidikan agama Kristen di era digital.
