Abstract

This study also aims to improve the congregation's understanding of the importance of stewardshipand how they can play an active role in supporting church ministry. In practice, many churches face major challenges in carrying out stewardship in accordance with biblical principles. These challenges can stem from a variety of factors, including a lack of in-depth understanding of stewardship, limited resources, and a lack of congregational involvement and participation in church management.This article was written using a literature study method.The application of good stewardship principles has a positive impact on the growth of the congregation, both spiritually and physically. Effective stewardship can increase congregational participation in church activities, strengthen relationships between congregations, and support the development of various ministries in the church. In addition, good resource management also allows the church to be more responsive to the needs of the congregation and the surrounding community. Today's church needs to develop a contextual and relevant stewardship model that can answer challenges and take advantage of existing opportunities. Stewardship models based on congregational participation, technology, servant leadership, contextual needs, and community are some approaches that can be considered to increase the effectiveness of stewardship in the church.Abstrak

Abstract

John Calvin viewed the unity of the church not based on church doctrine and background, but rather as one church, one faith, one God, a confession of the Apostles' faith and hope and love. The unity between churches is evident in agreements in the field of faith and Church order and in actions to unite and reconcile people in seeking solutions to social problems. The church must be united in this effort so that the Christian witness is truly authoritative. However, the development of a world that is so complex that it has resulted in the emergence of many church sects, differences in theological views, differences in understanding of the contents of the Bible, and the emergence of church egoism have become problems for uniting churches. This also happens in churches in Ciranjang, such as social friction, social jealousy, claims about the truth of the Bible, vilifying each other, considering their doctrine to be the most correct, inviting congregations to change sects, and so on. These incidents made the church seem closed and unwilling to mingle with other churches so ecumenical church programs to strengthen church unity were difficult to implement. The method used in this research is qualitative. The research results show that Calvin's concept is implemented in churches through the resilience of church leaders, congregational renewal, and restoration of relationships between churches. Unifying differences in the ecumenical movement is the key to achieving perfection in Christ the Head of the Church.

Abstract

Writing this article aims to describe the pastor's strategy in educating, fostering and guiding young people to experience spiritual growth. This article refers to the role of pastors in formulating the right strategy to solve the spiritual problems of young people which are slowly declining due to the pace of technology. Where, young people ignore worship and other spiritual activities such as a lack of interest in worship both in public worship, household worship, youth worship, and worship activities on church holidays. The, method used in this research is literature study which refers to references related to the topic raised. In this study, the authors found that pastors have a strategy to apply their leadership to grow the spirituality of youth through Teaching God's Word with contextual topics, Bible study, coaching and guidance through counseling and the use of digital media. The achievement of pastoral leadership in the spiritual growth of young people is seen in terms of their quality of life. The proof of the spiritual growth of young people is that they will be diligent in participating in fellowship services at church and are able to practice the value of the truth of God's Word to their surroundings.

Abstract

Ilmu teologi terus berkembang sesuai dengan perubahan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Muncul pemikiran-pemikiran baru yang seringkali berseberangan dengan doktrin tradisional Kristen. Meski demikian para peneliti dan teolog itu sendiri harus memiliki pemahaman yang sama bahwa penelitian teologi yang terus berkembang tidak melupakan nilai-nilai di dalam iman Kristen. Itu sebabnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjembatani antara iman dengan ilmu yang terus berkembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam studi teologi membuka ruang bagi dialog yang konstruktif antara ilmu pengetahuan dan iman.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to discuss William James's philosophy of pragmatism and its implementation in the process of Christian religious education. This paper refers to the framework of William James's philosophical theory and its urgency for education, specifically Christian religious education. James emphasizes the importance of the practical application of ideas and concepts, and that the value of an idea can be measured by its practical consequences in action. James also emphasized the importance of experience in the learning process, and that experience should be used as a starting point in achieving a deeper understanding. By using the literature study method, researchers found that William James' theory can be implemented in the process of Christian religious education because it provides learning experiences through values that are democratic, social and changes in learning patterns through learning methods, the role of the teacher, the role of students and the contextual curriculum.  AbstrakTujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah membahas filsafat pragmatisme William James dan implementasinya dalam proses pendidikan agama Kristen. Tulisan ini mengacu pada kerangka teori filsafat William James dan urgensinya bagi pendidikan, secara khusus pendidikan agama Kristen. James menekankan pentingnya aplikasi praktis dari gagasan dan konsep, dan bahwa nilai dari sebuah gagasan dapat diukur oleh konsekuensi praktiknya dalam tindakan. James juga menekankan pentingnya pengalaman dalam proses pembelajaran, dan bahwa pengalaman harus dijadikan sebagai titik awal dalam mencapai pemahaman yang lebih dalam. Dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka, peneliti menemukan bahwa teori William James dapat di implementasikan dalam proses pendidikan agama Kristen karena memberikan pengalaman belajar melalui nilai-nilai yang bersifat demokratis, sosial dan perubahan pola belajar melalui metode belajar, peran guru, peran siswa serta kurikulum kontekstual.
