Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan tentang pemanfaatan modal sosial yang dilakukan warga lokal dalam membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup dasar warga yang mengalami kesulitan ekonomi selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Pangumbahan dan Desa Ujunggenteng Kecamatan Ciracap Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi literatur. Teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa selama masa pandemi Covid-19, penghasilan warga lokal yang bergantung pada sektor pariwisata mengalami penurunan secara drastis karena menurunnya jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke tempat wisata di Desa Ujunggenteng dan Pangumbahan. Penurunan penghasilan secara drastis selama masa pandemi membuat warga lokal beralih mencari penghasilan tambahan dengan menangkap ikan/ hasil laut lainnya. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan warga lokal dalam memasarkan hasil tangkapan laut adalah dengan membentuk komunitas online yang beranggotakan para pengepul dan pedagang pasar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemanfaatan modal sosial salah satunya dengan membentuk grup pengepul dan pedagang pasar secara online sangat membantu warga lokal dalam memasarkan hasil tangkapan laut warga sehingga mereka masih dapat memiliki penghasilan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari selama terhentinya aktivitas ekonomi dari sektor pariwisata karena pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Human trafficking can be categorized as transnational organized crime. The problem of human trafficking is very complex. Efforts to prevent and overcome trafficking victims must be carried out in an integrated manner. This study aims to explore: 1) the processes and ways in which women are entangled in the practice of covert prostitution 2) social networks those are formed in the practice of covert prostitution, and 3) the factors that encourage women to become entangled in the practice of covert prostitution. The research uses a qualitative method. Research data sources are the Bongas Village Government, women are entangled in the practice of covert prostitution, and activist at the Yayasan Bunga Bangsa. The locus of this study is located at Bongas Village, Sub District of Bongas, Indramayu District, West Java Province. The selection of this locus is because there are women who are trapped in covert prostitution and Bongas Kusuma Foundation engaged in community empowerment and development. The results of the study show as follows: 1) the way to ensnare women into covert prostitutes is to provide high income offers, 2) the social network formed in the case of trafficking in women who were used as prostitutes in the form of partial social networks and social networks of interests, and 3) The background factors that cause women to become victims of trafficking are factor of economic poverty, factor of limited employment opportunities, factor of the low level of education, factor of family problems, and factor of early marriage that have an impact on divorce

Abstract

This study examines the Social Rehabilitation Assistance Program (Atensi), which provides benefits for developing skills and knowledge to increase self-reliance. The focus of this research is the implementation of the Atensi program for poor families through Warung Makan Indomie (Warmindo) in Bandung City. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the distribution of assistance through the Warmindo program went quite smoothly, although there were some policy changes due to directives from the central ministry. The Beneficiary Families (KPM) experienced various changes in their conditions, including economic, social, physical, and psychological aspects. These changes were not always positive; sometimes, there were significant negative changes. This research highlights the distribution process of the assistance and the changes in the lives of the KPM from various aspects. Based on these issues, the researchers recommend the need for capacity building to develop the knowledge and skills of the KPM.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to examine the experiences of groups of men and women on Sodong Village RW 15 and RW 16, Kertajaya Village, West Bandung Regency in decision making and access to cash social assistance for COVID-19 and to analyze various factors that affect their relative participation using the framework. interectionality analytic work. The research method used is in the form of qualitative methods using primary data through semi-structured interviews, FGDs and informant observations. The results showed that men and women have a significant gap in accessing health system information and social protection. The role of women is identified as a passive group in their participation. This indicates that women's groups only know about decisions that have been taken, or only attend meetings and listen to decisions. The narrative of marginalization and domination appears in this study, this is driven by a variety of cross-cutting factors such as gender, education, age, wealth, meritocracy and personality. The characteristics of marginalization in the findings of this study vary depending on the combination of sources of marginalization itself, such as someone who is elderly, uneducated, female, and poor is more marginalized than someone who is uneducated and poor but male. The more factors a person has of the character of marginalization, the greater their exclusion in accessing information on the health system and social protection of COVID-19 as a whole. This study also reveals that women experience a higher level of gender-based discrimination, especially because women are part of the dominant patriarchal system.

Abstract

Research on people's perceptions of the Social Welfare Center is motivated by differences in the views of experts regarding the Social Welfare Center, so it can also happen in the community about their views on this matter. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of people's perceptions of the Social Welfare Center which consists of three aspects, namely the knowledge aspect, the understanding aspect, and the assessment aspect. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population targeted in this study was the people of Sukamanah Village aged 20-65 years with a total of 3,478 respondents. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique to produce a sample of 97 respondents. Questionnaire data collection techniques and documentation studies with likert scale measuring instruments. Validity testing using advance validity and reliability test using Cronbach Alpha. The results showed that people's perception of the Social Welfare Center was in the moderate category (54.56%). There is a problem in the public perception of the Social Welfare Center in the assessment aspect is in the low category (34.55%) because the knowledge aspect is in the medium category (56.31%), and the understanding aspect is in the medium category (65.05%). Therefore, the researcher proposed a program "Social Counseling about the Social Welfare Center (Puskesos) in Sukamanah Village". The programs offered have gone through due diligence using a SWOT analysis aimed at improving people's knowledge, understanding, and assessment of the Social Welfare Center.
