Abstract

North Sumatra is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a high number of positive cases of Covid-19 so that North Sumatra has been in the red and yellow zone for several months. The increasing number of positive cases can have an impact on various aspects of people's lives. To do optimal mitigation, forecasting is necessary, which is a technique to estimate a value in the future by paying attention to past data and current data. One method that can be used is the ARIMA method. The data used is daily data from May to August 2021 obtained from the official website of the covid19.go.id. The ARIMA model obtained from this study is the ARIMA(1,1,0) model with MAE, MAPE and MSE values of 453,175203, 3,312754324, and 6161032,938, respectively. Forecast results for September show a daily increase so it is expected that the government will make efforts to prevent this.

Abstract

The online learning system is still having problems. As a result of the observations of the USU team, several obstacles were felt not only by the teachers at MIN 2 Serdang Bedagai but also by students and parents. The problems that occur are quite diverse. Starting from limited signal, limited devices suitable for online learning, to the lack of technological knowledge of teachers and students on online applications that support the teaching and learning process. There are various online applications available today, such as Google Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet, Youtube, and others. These various online applications play an important role in helping students and teachers in the distance learning process. The USU team conducted training using the online application Google Classroom and Zoom. Google Classroom and Zoom were chosen because they are easier for the teacher to implement, besides that the two online applications facilitate coordination and communication between teachers and students, so that the material being taught can be discussed more easily, more freely and can be updated more quickly. In this community service, Online Learning training was conducted for the Elementary School / Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Level with Various Online Applications at MIN 2 Serdang Bedagai. This community service has reached the implementation stage of training which begins with the initial survey stage, provision of training modules and also training. The next stage is monitoring and evaluation and feedback.

Abstract

Ecoenzyme is a solution of complex organic substances produced by the fermentation process of organic waste, water, and molasses. So that organic waste that has been disposed of and is no longer used can be utilized as an environmentally friendly product. This eco-enzyme solution is dark brown in color and has a strong sour aroma. This socialization and demonstration focuses on making Ecoenzyme solutions from organic waste grapefruit, pumpkin, kale, chicory and papaya from household waste which aims to educate the public, especially housewives in Tanjung Kasau Plantation Village to know the procedure for making Ecoenzyme and using waste organic. Using an experimental method, an Ecoenzyme solution was made with 1 part molasses, 3 parts fruits and vegetables, and 10 parts clean water and then fermented for 3 months to make an Ecoenzyme solution. For the first 1 month the test was carried out Periodically, samples are taken every 2 days and evaluated for find out the evaluation parameters including organoleptic, pH and appropriate viscosity established test procedures. The results of this study showed that a good Ecoenzyme had a dark brown color, a fresh sour aroma typical of spicy and get a stable pH with a pH of 4.0 showing a high eco-enzyme produced is acidic which has benefits such as radiation protection, clearing drains, floor cleaners, organic disinfectants etc.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan peramalan data harga pangan daging sapi dan telur ayam di pasar tradisional Sumatera Utara dengan penerapan metode Holt-Winters. Pada harga pangan daging sapi dan telur ayam di pasar tradisional Sumatera Utara akan diterapkan metode Holt-Winters Additive dan Multiplicative dengan menentukan nilai awal pemulusan level, trend, dan seasonal. Kemudian ditentukan nilai parameter optimum , , dan  pada masing-masing data harga pangan daging sapi dan telur ayam di pasar tradisional Sumatera Utara. Setelah didapatkan nilai awal pemulusan level, trend, seasonal dan nilai parameter optimum, dilakukan perhitungan nilai pemulusan level, trend, dan seasonal. Kemudian dilakukan peramalan data harga pangan daging sapi dan telur ayam di pasar tradisional Sumatera Utara. Setelah peramalan diperoleh kemudian dihitung tingkat keakurasian dengan menggunakan RMSE dan MAPE. Berdasarkan hasil dari penerapan metode Holt-Winters, maka kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah metode Holt-Winters memiliki nilai kinerja peramalan yang sangat baik. Didapatkan tingkat akurasi MAPE < 10% untuk semua perhitungan peramalan baik Holt-Winters Additive maupun Holt-Winters Multiplicative. Holt-Winters Multiplicative pada data harga daging sapi lebih baik daripada Holt-Winters Additive karena tingkat akurasi yang lebih kecil yaitu RMSE  dan MAPE . Holt-Winters Additive pada data harga telur ayam lebih baik daripada Holt-Winters Multiplicative karena tingkat akurasi yang lebih kecil yaitu RMSE  dan MAPE .

Abstract

Penentuan optimasi jumlah produksi, pabrik harus menggunakan perhitungan yang tepat secara matematis. Sehingga tidak mengabaikan variabel-variabel yang menjadi langkah untuk mencapai titik maksimum penjualan. Pabrik Roti Wati Bakery adalah pabrik yang bergerak dibidang industri produksi makanan. Pabrik ini memproduksi berbagai macam varian roti donat, seperti roti donat original, kacang, kopi, cokelat dan kacang cokelat. Pabrik mengalami kesulitan menentukan jumlah produksi optimal dengan keterbatasan sumber daya bahan bakunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan jumlah produksi dengan pengoptimalan komposisi produksinya, sehingga diperoleh hasil keuntungan maksimal. Dengan menggunakan integer linear programming metode branch and bound, yaitu metode yang menghasilkan solusi optimal berupa bilangan bulat, berdasarkan rincian dan perhitungan yang dilakukan, diperoleh jumlah optimal setiap varian roti donat sebanyak 4.329 kemasan, meliputi roti donat original 1.500 kemasan, roti donat kacang 552 kemasan, roti donat kopi 833 kemasan, roti donat cokelat 956 kemasan dan roti donat kacang cokelat 488 kemasan, dengan keuntungan Rp. 7.680.100. Keuntungan meningkat sebesar Rp. 279.100 dari keuntungan data riil pabrik.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk membentuk model matematika yang didasarkan pada faktor-faktor risiko yang mempunyai pengaruh terhadap terjangkitnya penyakit malaria di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 368 data pasien. Pemodelan dari faktor-faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi terjangkitnya penyakit malaria menggunakan metode regresi logistik biner. Variabel respon yang digunakan bersifat dua kategori. Variabel prediktor yang akan diteliti sebanyak 5 variabel, meliputi umur, jenis kelamin, pekerjaan, klasifikasi penularan, dan jenis parasit. Estimasi parameter menggunakan metode maximum likelihood estimation. Dari 5 variabel prediktor yang diteliti, diperoleh hanya 2 variabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel respon, sehingga model regresi logistik biner yang diperoleh yaitu g(X)=-3,828+0,792X_1+1,450X_5. Dalam penelitian ini ketepatan klasifikasi diperoleh sebesar 92,4%.
