Abstract

Abstract

AbstractJakarta, the capital of Indonesia, undertook a major change of the transportation system, digitization of the transportation system was initiated by implementing a cashless payment system on the Commuter line in Jabodetabek, followed by implementing BRT with Busway mode, then MRT and LRT all of them are also cashless. All-digitization and application-based transportation systems force people to change. This is a trouble for senior citizens and is alleged to be one of the factors that causes them to be reluctant to switch to public transportation. This study analyzes the hypothesis that the reluctance of people of late adulthood to late elderly to use public transportation is due to the difficulty in understanding the digitalization system that is applied and because of the low level of respondents' trust in digital systems in public transportation. The study was conducted by distributing closed questionnaires to respondents who are Jabodetabek (Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi) residents aged 45 years to 65 years who still have a fairly high activity, data tabulated then performed regression analysis.

Abstract

Indonesia have not finished yet with the overloading truck problem which makes early failure in Indonesia pavements, mainly in national highways such as Pantura national highway. This is the first research which the aim is to compare the Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle Load (CESA) between 4 policy conditions; (1) zero overloading policy enforced; (2) modified 1 zero overloading policy enforced with 40% legal overloading tolerance for the nine-daily needs (rice, sugar, cooking oil, soy beans, salt, meat, chicken, eggs, onion), portland cement and fertilizer trucks; (3) modified 2 zero overloading policy enforced with 50% legal overloading tolerance for the same transporter as point (3); (4) no policy. This modification of the policy considered to avoid the price increment of those goods caused by the rising expedition cost. The Liddle’s formula used with k–factor = 1 for single axles, 0.086 and 0.031 for tandem and tridem axles. The finding of the study shows decreasing CESA between the alternatives compare to no policy applied. Application of policy 2 and 3 reduce the CESA number as much 44% and 34% respectively, there is 10% displaced cargo difference between policy 2 and 3 which must be loaded to other vehicles

Abstract

The development of road and transportation infrastructure in Tangerang Regency is crucial for economic growth. The increasing number of vehicles on Jalan Raya Serpong-Cisauk, without adequate infrastructure development, has led to traffic volumes exceeding capacity. The solution implemented to reduce queue length and delays is the construction of a flyover. This study employs quantitative and qualitative methods, with primary data including traffic volume, free flow speed, and side friction, while secondary data is sourced from relevant agencies. The analysis is conducted using PKJI, VISSIM, and SWOT methods. The results show an increase in road capacity after the construction of the Cisauk flyover, with a decrease in the Dj ratio from 2.38 to below 1.00, and improved LOS from F to C/B during holidays and D/C on weekdays. However, surrounding businesses experienced negative impacts, including revenue decline and business relocations.

Abstract

C75 cold rolled steel is a material used in building construction with a lighter weight compared to conventional steel. One important aspect in the design of C75 light steel is the connection, where the connection must be designed safely so it is very important to maintain the structural integrity of the building and ensure the safety of building users. The aim of the research is to obtain the correct formulation for the C75 mild steel connection type in relation to the thickness of the C75 cold rolled steel. The method used is to create a connection system in the form of a variety of connections consisting of connections using screws only, combined screws and bolts, and connections using rivet nails. Overall, from the test results, it was found that the use of mild steel connections with a modified model between screws and bolts produced a greater value compared to using rivet connection tools alone or screws alone, this happened the same for every thickness of mild steel tested, both thickness 0, 65 mm, 0.75 mm or 1.00 mm. The greatest results were found in the connection of 4 screws and 1 bolt at a mild steel thickness of 1.00 to 100.00 N with a deflection of 2.58 mm. When compared with rivets, the increase reached 42.50%, while compared with screws, there was an increase of 20.00%. So rivet connections are brittle compared to screws and screw and bolt connections are a more ductile connection, so they can be recommended as connections in light steel. It's just that mild steel which has a greater thickness tends not to cause buckling compared to mild steel which is much thinner, where buckling is likely to occur in the mild steel material.
